GAIT DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYTICS SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR OPERATING UNWEIGHTING TRAINING SYSTEMS

Described herein are fields of exercise or therapy systems in particular exercise or therapy systems that controllably generate and maintain an unweighted environment using a mechanical system or a differential air pressure (DAP) envelope about a user so as to at least partially or completely unweight the user. This application also relates to improved control systems for pressure chambers for use in differential air pressure (DAP) systems including data collection and utilization for general fitness use, athletic use, or medical use treadmills and related software, control and analytics systems, especially as related to obtaining gait data from load cells provided in the system.

GRAVITY COMPENSATOR APPLIED TO WEARABLE MUSCULAR STRENGTH ASSISTING APPARATUS

A gravity compensator applied to a wearable muscular strength assisting apparatus includes a first link configured to extend parallel to a first body portion of a wearer, a second link configured to extend parallel to a second body portion and which is rotatably coupled to an end of the first link, an elastic body, which is fixed at an end thereof to the first link so as to exert an elastic force, which varies according to a length between the two ends thereof, and a connection unit, which is connected an end thereof to the other end of the elastic body and extends in a longitudinal direction of the first link and which is connected at an end thereof to the second link so as to vary a length of the elastic body by relative rotation between the first link and the second link.

Body harness system

A body harness system includes a body harness having a first portion for providing resting position to a user. The body harness includes a plurality of belts with offset buckles connected to the body of the first portion, for supporting body of the user. A first pair of shoulder straps are connected at a first end and an undercarriage support is connected at a second end of the first portion. An abdominal support is connected to the undercarriage support via abdominal support connection straps. The undercarriage support runs from the second end of the first portion to the abdominal support, for supporting the user's groin area. The body harness system includes an elastic cord support system connected to one or more attachment rings, for controlling at least one of initial bodyweight offset, amount of bodyweight resistance, and maximum allowable downward stop for each user.

Spinal Decompression System

An apparatus for decompressive therapy applied to the human spine. The apparatus incorporates a decompression actuator or motor connected to an attachment point on a pelvic harness, which is in turn applied to the lumbar region of a patient. The decompression motor may be raised or lowered in order to orient the pelvic harness about the lumbar spine, thereby aligning certain of the lumbar vertebra and intervertebral discs. The decompression motor applies cyclical decompressive forces to the aligned spine, providing enhanced lumbar decompression.

A blood flow stimulating device including a boot including a sole and an upper; a sock disposed within the boot; and a bladder disposed within or on the sock, wherein the bladder is configured to undergo repeated inflation and deflation so as to stimulate blood flow in a wearer of the blood flow stimulating device, wherein the sock further includes a toe region, a heel region and a raised portion between the toe region and the heel region that, in use, reduces the distance between the sock and a foot of a wearer of the blood flow stimulating device at the raised portion of the sock.

Unweighting devices

An unweighting device of the present specification. The unweighting device generally includes a standalone cage system having a rail, or a plurality of rails, allowing a user to connect thereto. The user of the unweighting system wears a harness. The harness connect to a plurality of flexible bands which connect directly to a roller subassembly. The roller subassembly, which connects to the rail or rails of the cage, allow the user to move in a lateral direction. The bands connected to the user allow the user to move in an up and down direction thereby, when combined with the rolling movement, provide for dynamic movement of the user when using the unweighting device.

SYSTEM FOR CREATING ARTIFICIAL GRAVITY

Lack of gravity is a cause of major health concerns for astronauts travelling or living in space. The systems, in accordance with the embodiments of the invention, provide Artificial Gravity. The users or subjects experience Artificial Gravity while exercising in an environment without gravity, such as space. Another embodiment includes chambers shielded by multilayer magnetic toroid and multilayer soft magnetic layered clothing that shields astronauts from radiation and stray magnetic fields while providing a gravitational (artificial gravity) effect.

Neck Therapy Device and Method
20210154078 · 2021-05-27 ·

A neck therapy device supports the head of a patient in a supine, side-lying or prone position to eliminate the effects of gravity on the cervical vertebrae and associated musculature. A sliding platform supporting the head permits frictionless turning throughout full cervical motion and a cervical support can target a particular cervical vertebra to isolate motion to superior vertebrae. The cervical support is also used to apply traction and pressure to cervical muscles and vertebrae to effect soft-tissue mobilization and activate and strengthen cervical muscles.

EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR LUMBAR STABILIZATION
