Unidirectional actuated exoskeleton device
The present invention is directed to an autonomous exoskeleton device that includes one or more actuators, one or more controllers, one or more sensors with one or more unidirectional transmissions. The present invention provides a mechanical joint in parallel with a biological joint. The exoskeleton device preferably includes and electric motor and winch, chain, belt, cam transmission or other mechanism for providing unidirectional force to assist rotation about the biologic joint. Moreover, a controller, a motor angle sensor, joint angle sensor and/or force sensor may be used for additional control and monitoring of the device. The motor may be any type of motor, but is preferably brushless in configuration where its diameter is larger than its length to provide a compact and lightweight exoskeleton device.
Motorized exercise device and methods of exercise learning
Exercise robot suitable for rehabilitation and methods of its operation are provided. In particular a method in which the exercise robot learns an exercise movement on the basis of movements conducted by the aid of a human assistant holding the leg of a patient and moving the leg with muscular form to conduct an exercise movement. The rehabilitation robot actively accompanies the exercise movement in an active compliance mode and records the movement so as to determine an exercise movement stored in the control unit of the device. The rehabilitation robot can then produce the determined exercise in an exercise mode.
REHABILITATION EXERCISE DEVICE FOR UPPER AND LOWER LIMBS
Proposed is a rehabilitation exercise device for upper and lower limbs. The rehabilitation exercise device is characterized by including: a first support supporting a user's hand or foot; a second support supporting a user's forearm or calf; a pair of first hinges rotatably connecting the first support and the second support to each other; a third support supporting a user's upper arm or thigh; a pair of second hinges rotatably connecting the second support and the third support to each other; a drive module selectively mounted on any one of the pair of first hinges and the pair of second hinges, and configured to pivot the first support or the second support; and a mounting position detecting part detecting a mounting position where the drive module is mounted from among the pair of first hinges and the pair of second hinges.
Physical Stretching Apparatus
A physical stretching apparatus having: an anchor strap, wherein the anchor strap is configured to be operable for attaching the apparatus to any stationary object; an anchor joint, the anchor joint is configured to attach the anchor strap and a rope implement; an elastic looped strap configured to secure the apparatus to various points on a user; an attachment contrivance, wherein the attachment contrivance is configured to be operable for attaching the elastic looped strap to the rope implement; a rope lock that is configured to permit the rope implement to pass in one direction when pulled and restricts the rope implement from passing in an opposite or reverse direction; and a release mechanism that disables this restriction and a sliding restrainer, wherein the sliding restrainer is configured to be operable for adjusting a size of the looped strap.
EXOSKELETON FOR REHABILITATION
The present disclosure discloses an exoskeleton for rehabilitation, comprising: a healthy-side exoskeleton, an affected-side exoskeleton, a first sensor, a control unit, and a driving device, wherein the first sensor is configured to detect a pressure received by the shoe sole and generate a first electrical signal, the control unit is configured to judge, according to the first electrical signal, whether to generate the first control signal, and the driving device is configured to drive the affected-side exoskeleton according to the first control signal. When a shoe sole is not landed steadily, the affected-side exoskeleton does not drive the affected side to step out, thereby avoiding the problem that the affected side takes a step when the healthy side does not stand firm. Therefore, the present exoskeleton for rehabilitation has the advantages of better controlling for limb coordination and having higher using safety.
THERAPEUTIC MOTION DEVICES INCLUDING ARTIFICIAL MUSCLE DRIVE UNITS
A therapeutic motion device includes a support structure including a first support portion and a second support portion. The first support portion rotatably coupled to the second support portion and at least one of the first support portion and the second support portion is movable relative to the other of the first support potion and the second support portion. First and second actuation arms extend from the first and second support portions, respectively. An artificial muscle drive unit couples the first actuation arm to the second actuation arm, the artificial muscle drive unit including one or more artificial muscles expandable in a movement direction to provide a movement force to at least one of the first support portion and the second support portion.
Device designed to be positioned close to a joint and general system comprising such a device
The invention relates to a device for positioning in the proximity of a joint between two portions, the device comprising a first interface (11) carried by a first of the two portions and a second interface (12) carried by a second of the two portions, the device including at least one connection between the first interface and the second interface, the connection comprising a double cylinder having two chambers that are connected together by a floating piston, the first of the two chambers being connected to the first interface and a second of the two chambers being connected to a drive rather of the double cylinder, said rod being connected to the second interface.
The invention also relates to a system including such a device.
FOOT STRETCHING AND DIAGNOSIS DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING STIFFNESS OF FOOT
A foot stretching/checkup device includes: a motor unit; a footrest unit including a lower footrest configured to be rotated about a first rotation axis, an upper footrest configured to be rotated about a second rotation axis and a connecting member connecting the upper footrest and the lower footrest; and a coupling unit including an arm portion rotated by the motor unit and a rotary coupler coupled to the upper footrest. The upper footrest is configured to be rotated by a predetermined angle about the second rotation axis by the rotation of the arm portion.
