FULL OR PARTIAL BODY PHYSICAL FEEDBACK SYSTEM AND WEARABLE EXOSKELETON
A wearable exoskeleton with full or partial body physical feedback system in virtual and augmented reality applications, or in physical fitness applications, including, in aspects, finger, hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot components, or combinations thereof. The system implements physical feedback, using resistive or restrictive forces, for both the upper and lower portions of the human body. Additionally, the wearable exoskeleton and system are capable of being configured for particular applications including but not limited to virtual and augmented reality, as well as physical fitness and physical therapy applications.
Device for Height Adjustment
A physiotherapeutic device is disclosed. In an embodiment a physiotherapeutic device includes an arm trainer configured to rotationally move arms of a patient, the arm trainer having a first axis and a leg trainer configured to rotationally move legs of the patient, the leg trainer having a second axis, wherein the first and second axes comprise an adjustability in height, wherein a distance of the first axis to the second axis is constant, wherein the arm and leg trainers are adjustable in height so that an adjustment in height results in different exercising positions.
Exercise device
This application discloses a portable exercise device for flexibility and strengthening. In some embodiments, the device is comprised of one elastic band of surgical tubing or like material and one non-elastic band, with two pairs of looped handles tied to each end of the elastic band. These looped handles can attach to a user's limb without any need for grasping. The non-elastic end of the device can be affixed to an anchor point. The exercise device offers light but adjustable resistance via a resistance modulator, allowing the user to engage in a full range of standing and seated exercises with forces comparable to swimming. In addition, two instances of the device can be combined to engage both the user's hands and feet simultaneously.
Rehabilitation training apparatus
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus. The rehabilitation training apparatus includes a pair of first tracks formed parallel to each other along first axis, a second track disposed on the pair of first tracks, and moving along the first axis, and formed along second axis, a hand holder disposed on the second track, and moving along the second track, and on which at least one of hand and arm of a user is held, a stopper for a track disposed on the pair of first tracks for limiting a movement range of the second track, and a stopper for a holder disposed on the second track for limiting a movement range of the second pair of first tracks, wherein the first axis and the second axis are disposed with an inclination.
Kinetic resistance apparatus
A portable and kinetic motion resistance upper body invention that can be used for a variety of exercises. This invention combines dial tension adjustment clutch sheaves, a variable linear tract bearing and a one piece resistance shock-cord, together these core components achieve a unique minimal impact work-out. The multi-motion and changeable adjustments for this invention, result in a wide variety of muscular stimulation and therapeutic exercises that are non-existent in the fitness and health industry. The outcome of the mechanism can be customized for a particular sport requirement or physio and other therapeutic restorations, or even for case specific industrial and robotic counter-balancing controls. This invention is can also be used as a lift-assist device.
Rehabilitation device and its use for exercising the shoulder region
The present invention relates to a rehabilitation device adapted for rehabilitating and/or exercising the shoulder region, as well as to the use of such a rehabilitation device. The rehabilitation device has support elements (3, 4, 5) enabling the upright position of the upper body during the exercise, two motion shafts (2) guiding the motion in a pre-defined direction of motion, and two handleless arm supports (1) attached to the end of each motion shaft and arranged to support the arms of the user, preventing activation of the muscles carrying the arm.
Method of assisting a subject to stand using a medical apparatus
A medical apparatus for standing aid includes a backrest (4) that has at least one side thereof provided with a crank rocker mechanism that includes a crank mechanism (1), a triangle linkage mechanism (2), and a rocker mechanism (3), the crank mechanism (1) is rotatably connected to the triangle linkage mechanism (2) such that an included angle between a second driven link (BE) of the triangle linkage mechanism (2) and the crank mechanism (1) is always smaller than 90, and the crank mechanism (1) driving the triangle linkage mechanism (2), the rocker mechanism (3) and the backrest (4) connected to the triangle linkage mechanism to perform interactive movement repeatedly along a predetermined curve trajectory in response to a driving force from a drive effect of a driving unit (100), so that the backrest (4) connected to the second driven link (BE) assists a trainee in standing up repeatedly by obliquely supporting the trainee's waist.

APPARATUS FOR STIMULATING SYNCHRONIZED BODY MOTIONS OF A USER
An apparatus and method are provided for imparting a repetitive motion to a user. The apparatus may include one or more seat platforms and one or more backrests. Repeated motion of the pelvis and shoulders of the user may be contra lateral. The motions of the user may mimic walking. The apparatus may include a chair. The apparatus may include a sensor. The sensor may be used to control the apparatus and/or the sensor may be used to adjust the movement regime according to the user. The apparatus may help for example, to mobilize limited mobility users and/or to train healthier habits.
Therapeutic Device for Performing Passive Shoulder Rotation
A therapeutic device that surrounds and firmly grips the upper part of the arm and which allows the therapist to apply a pair of opposing tangential forces (13) to the protrusions or protuberances (6) and (7) of the device in order to perform passive internal and external shoulder rotation exercises without transmitting any force to the elbow. This means of applying forces directly to the upper part of the arm prevents the forearm from having to be used as a lever to perform rotations, which can damage or affect the elbow during the therapeutic process. In addition, the device allows the greatest possible force to be applied to the shoulder to maximize recovery. The alternative design of the device allows a variable speed motor to be coupled by incorporation of coupling parts (14), (15).
