A human-computer interface system having an exoskeleton including a plurality of structural members coupled to one another by at least one articulation configured to apply a force to a body segment of a user, the exoskeleton comprising a body-borne portion and a point-of-use portion; the body-borne portion configured to be operatively coupled to the point-of-use portion; and at least one locomotor module including at least one actuator configured to actuate the at least one articulation, the at least one actuator being in operative communication with the exoskeleton.

Motion assistance apparatus

A motion assistance apparatus includes a proximal support configured to support a proximal part of a user, a distal support configured to support a distal part of the user, and a rotary frame connected to the distal support, and configured to simultaneously perform a translational motion and a rotational motion relative to the proximal support.

WEARABLE APPARATUS FOR INCREASING MUSCULAR FORCE

A wearable apparatus for increasing muscular force includes: a mount body coupled to an upper body of a wearer; a shoulder frame coupled at one end thereof to the mount body at the dorsal surface of the wearer and which is rotatable in up and down direction; a mounting frame coupled at one end thereof to the other end of the shoulder frame to be torsionally rotated; a supporter, which surrounds part of an upper arm of the wearer to support the upper arm of the wearer; and a compensation frame, which is integrally coupled to the supporter to be rotated together with the supporter about a shoulder joint of the wearer. The compensation frame capable of generating supporting force that varies depending on the angle to which the compensation frame is rotated.

UPPER TORSO AUGMENTATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

An upper torso augmentation system configured to augment a native strength of an arm of the user by aiding movement of the arm. The upper torso augmentation system including a body chassis configured to be worn around a torso of the user, the shoulder assembly pivotably coupled to the body chassis, and an upper arm assembly pivotably coupled to the shoulder assembly, the upper arm assembly including an assisted force mechanism, wherein an output of the assisted force mechanism is adjustable via a first adjustment mechanism and a second adjustment mechanism thereby enabling the output to approximate a determined minimum assist force required for the user to move their arm through a desired range of motion, so as to minimize any excess torque produced by the upper torso augmentation system.

JOINT MOBILIZATION APPARATUS
20200170872 · 2020-06-04 · ·

A joint mobilization apparatus includes a pulling unit and a power unit. The pulling unit includes a wearable member set for mounting on the patient's joint part, and a rope set connected to the wearable member set. The power unit provides power of reciprocatingly pulling the rope set, and includes a shell member, a motor, and a reciprocation mechanism connected to the motor and the rope set. The reciprocation mechanism is driven by the motor to reciprocate relative to the shell member, so as to pull the rope set to reciprocate the wearable member set and patient's joint part. By using the power unit to drive the pulling unit to pull reciprocatingly for mobilizing the patient's joint part, instead of the therapist's treatment, the therapist's burden in physical strength can be reduced. Furthermore, the joint mobilization apparatus can provide the user to execute various muscle training modes.

EXOSKELETON FOR UPPER ARM

A rotational joint of intra-extra rotation (100) for assistance of the movement of intra-extra rotation of a shoulder of a user, said rotational joint (100) comprising a first circular guide (110) arranged to rotate about a rotation axis r, a second circular guide (120) arranged to rotate about a rotation axis r parallel to the rotation axis r, an support element (130) arranged to support the first and the second circular guide (110, 120). The first and the second circular guide (110, 120) are pivotally connected by a conical wheel (140) having rotation axis s perpendicular to rotation axes r and said conical wheel (140) being pivotally constrained to the support element (130). When the conical wheel (140) makes a rotation about its rotation axis s, the first circular guide (110) makes a rotation about its rotation axis r and, at the same time, the second circular guide (120) makes a rotation = about its rotation axis r.
