SUSTAINABLE NONWOVEN TEXTILE WITH VARIABLE FIBER LENGTHS
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a nonwoven textile that is sustainable and that sustainably manufactured. The subject matter may be sustainable in one or more respects. For example, the nonwoven textile may be manufactured from recycled materials. In other instances, the nonwoven textile is itself recyclable to produce additional or subsequent nonwoven articles. In addition, the manufacturing processes used to make the nonwoven textile may consume less energy than other manufacturing processes.
Disposable medical gown
A disposable medical gown (100) includes a body covering portion (101) and optionally one or more sleeves (107,108). The body covering portion (101) defines a head insertion aperture (104) between a frontal body covering portion (103) configured to cover a frontal body portion of a wearer and a rear portion (203) configured to cover at least parts of shoulder blades of the wearer. A torso opening (201) is disposed on a side of the rear portion (203) opposite the head insertion aperture (104), and extends distally from the rear portion (203). One or more perforations (202) extend across the rear portion (203) at least partially between the torso opening (202) and the head insertion aperture (104), and facilitate easy removal of the gown (100). A user removes the gown (100) by pulling the front portion (103), thereby tearing the perforations. Elastic gatherings can be included to snug the gown about the torso or limbs of the user.
MASK WITH ADJUSTABLE EAR LOOPS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A mask with adjustable ear loops comprises a body and a pair of ear loops. The ear loops are respectively disposed on two lateral sides of the body. Each of the ear loops is elastic and has an elongated and flat shape, each of the ear loops has two ends and an ear attaching portion between the two ends, and each of the ear loops is disposed on one of the lateral sides of the body through the two ends respectively. The ear attaching portion has a first length and a first temporary adhesive area, the first temporary adhesive area makes the ear attaching portion adhere to the lateral side of the body so that the ear attaching portion has a second length, and the second length is less than the first length.
FACE MASK WITH TRANSPARENT PORTION
A mask can be used on a face of a wearer having a head, a face, a nose, and a mouth. The mask can comprise a transparent body defining a peripheral rim that is configured to engage the face of the wearer. The transparent body can be configured to simultaneously cover the mouth and the nose of the wearer. The transparent body can define at least one aperture. The transparent body can define a circumferential surface around each aperture. A respective filter media can extend across and covers each aperture of the at least one aperture. A respective retaining element can be configured to retain the respective filter media across each aperture. The circumferential surface around each aperture can be configured to cooperate with the retaining element to retain the respective filter media between the retaining element and the circumferential surface.
Disposable Masks with Improved Life Span
The present invention provides a protective face mask having a two layer structure configured to have increased efficiency rate and longer filtration hours, while reducing resistance. In one embodiment, the protective mask of the present invention comprises layers treated with electret masterbatch.
Face Shield and Method of Use
An apparatus and method for use of an improved face shield assembly which prevents foreign materials or contaminants from vertically migrating from the above a wearer's head to the area around a wearer's face, eyes, nose and mouth.
Apparatus and method for manufacturing masks
An apparatus for manufacturing trapezoid-shaped masks is disclosed. The apparatus may include, a first feeding unit, for providing three or more rolled fabrics; a second feeding unit, for providing one or more rolled materials, simultaneously to the provision of the three or more rolled fabrics; a first folding and joining unit, for folding and joining together edges of three or more fabrics provided by the first feeding unit to form a joint multilayered fabric; a second folding and joining unit, for folding and joining the edges of one or more materials provided by the second feeding unit to form folded material; and a joining unit configured to join together the joint multilayered fabric and the folded material, by forming the continuous joint thereby forming at least two masks in relatively alternating positions, such that the open side of one mask is pointing in an opposite direction from the open side of the other mask.
COATED SUBSTRATES AND ARTICLES WITH ANTI-VIRAL PROPERTIES, AND FABRICATION PROCESSES
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to coated substrates having, e.g., anti-viral properties, to articles including the coated substrates, and to processes for making such coated substrates and articles. In an embodiment, a mask for preventing infection by a virus is provided. The mask includes a coated substrate having a breathing resistance (95 L/min, EN 149:2001) of about 6 mbar or less and a water droplet absorption time of less than about 5 seconds. The coated substrate includes a non-woven fabric having a weight of about 120 g/m.sup.2 or less according to ASTM D3776, and mineral oxide particles, iron oxide particles, or both, coupled to at least a portion of the non-woven fabric.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR FABRICATING NANOFIBER MATERIALS
Systems and methods for creating coating a substrate with nanofiber comprise a dual polarity high voltage power supply, a first wire for wire electrospinning held at positive potential by the power supply, a second wire held at negative potential by the power supply and a spooling system for drawing a substrate between the first wire and the second wire. A slider and a solution chamber in fluidic connection with the slider are used to slide along the first wire delivering solution to the wire.
WEARABLE FACE MASK WITH ANTI-VIRAL FILTRATION MEDIA
A mask assembly, including a face covering portion, a pocket connected to the face portion and positioned to cover a wearer's nose and mouth, a connection portion operationally connected to the face covering portion, and a filter removably inserted in the pocket. The filter further includes a porous hydrophobic and lipophobic layer, a diamond-like carbon layer, an activated carbon layer, an N95 membrane, an anti-stick cloth layer, and a non-woven fabric layer.
