DETACHABLE CAPTURE DEVICE FOR BIOMATERIALS

A detachable capture device for biomaterials may include a capture unit and an attachment unit. The capture unit may have a certain area to be attached biomaterials that causes respiratory diseases thereon, and the attachment unit may be detachably attached to an inner surface of the mask or an outer surface of the mask to fix the capture unit to the mask.

INSECT REPELLANT-INFUSED DISPOSABLE ARTICLES

A disposable article infused with an insect repellant and method of making the same. The disposable article includes an outer, water absorbent layer, an inner, waterproof layer and an insect repellant applied to the outer layer. The disposable article can be fabric gowns, shoe-covers, leg coverings, hand coverings, arm coverings, head coverings, body coverings, face coverings, full body coverings and chuck pads. In certain embodiments, the outer, water absorbent layer is spun-bonded polypropylene. In other embodiments, the outer, water absorbent layer is spun-bonded polyester. The inner, waterproof layer can be cast polyethylene. The insect repellant can include an effective amount of DEET (N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide), OLE (oil of lemon eucalyptus) and essential oils alone or in combination.

SANITIZING FACE MASK
20220175066 · 2022-06-09 ·

A sanitizing face mask inhibits the transmission of pathogens in air respired through the nose and mouth of a wearer. The mask includes hydrophobic inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer enclosed between them. The intermediate layer is saturated with a sanitizing liquid such as an ethanol solution. Respired air encounters the sanitizing liquid as it passes through the intermediate layer, killing pathogens borne on droplets or aerosols. The sanitizing mask protects the wearer, from pathogens in the inspired air, and others, from possible pathogens in the expired air of the wearer.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING

Provided is a protective clothing comprising a pair of sleeve parts and a body part, wherein one of the pair of sleeve parts comprises a part A covering an elbow joint of a wearer's right arm at the time of wearing the protective clothing, wherein the other one of the pair of sleeve parts comprises a part B covering an elbow joint of the wearer's left arm at the time of wearing the protective clothing, wherein the body part comprises a part C covering the wearer's greater pectoral muscle at the time of wearing the protective clothing, wherein the protective clothing has a first fabric having an air permeability of 30 cm.sup.3/cm.sup.2/sec or more and a second fabric having a bending resistance of 80 mm or less, wherein the first fabric is arranged on the part C and has a laminated structure of a first spunbonded non-woven fabric and a first melt-blown non-woven fabric, and wherein the second fabric is arranged on the part A and the part B and has a laminated structure of a second spunbonded non-woven fabric and a second melt-blown non-woven fabric.

Support Garment

Aspects herein provide for a support garment having a vibration damping structure that is positioned between the breast contacting surfaces of the support garment. The vibration damping structure has a shape and/or material characteristics that enable it to substantially fill the space defined by a medial aspect of the wearer's breasts and the wearer's sternum. This positioning and placement facilitate the damping structure's ability to absorb and dissipate impact forces generated at least through the medial-to-lateral movement of the wearer's breasts during, for example, athletic activities.

Protective Garment Having Antiviral Properties in Combination with Water Resistance

Fabric materials are disclosed that have been treated with a water resistant and antimicrobial treatment. The water resistant and antimicrobial treatment includes a combination of a durable water resistant composition and an antiviral composition. Protective garments can be made from the fabric that provide protection against airborne pathogens by preventing penetration through the fabric material and by destroying any pathogens that land upon the fabric.

Insulated garment

The technology described herein generally relates to a garment that is insulating yet light weight, which may provide protection from the elements without weighing down the wearer. The garment in accordance with the technology described herein comprises a layer of thermally insulating sheet material having one or more voided portions in place of conventional down or other synthetic thermally insulating materials. The one or more voided portions allow the thermal insulation to be light weight and adequately protective in cooler/cold weather, without adding motion hindering bulk to the garment.

WEARABLE ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A WEARABLE ARTICLE
20220151331 · 2022-05-19 · ·

In an example, a wearable article includes a nonwoven textile sheet having a first portion and a second portion contiguous with the first portion. The first portion has a first density and a first modulus of elasticity. The second portion has a second density less than the first density and has a second modulus of elasticity less than the first modulus of elasticity. The first portion is shaped differently than the second portion as an integral implement of the wearable article. A method of manufacturing a wearable article may comprise thermoforming the first portion while the second portion contiguous with the thermoformed first portion is not thermoformed.

THERMOPLASTIC NON-WOVEN TEXTILE ELEMENTS

A non-woven textile may be formed from a plurality of thermoplastic polymer filaments. The non-woven textile may have a first region and a second region, with the filaments of the first region being fused to a greater degree than the filaments of the second region. A variety of products, including apparel (e.g., shirts, pants, footwear), may incorporate the non-woven textile. In some of these products, the non-woven textile may be joined with another textile element to form a seam. More particularly, an edge area of the non-woven textile may be heatbonded with an edge area of the other textile element at the seam. In other products, the non-woven textile may be joined with another component, whether a textile or a non-textile.

OPENABLE MASK
