Moving body
A moving body includes: a plurality of wheels capable of rotating around a plurality of rotating shafts disposed on a circumference around a common axis; and a supporting unit supporting the plurality of rotating shafts to be capable of revolving around the axis. A first power source is connected to the plurality of wheels to be capable of transmitting power so as to rotate the plurality of wheels. A second power source is connected to the supporting unit to be capable of transmitting power so as to revolve the plurality of wheels.
MAGNETIC MOBILITY AID
A magnetic Retrieval Mobility Aid is featured. The Mobility Aid is comprised generally of an extended body, which is comprised, generally, of an extended body, a support tip at the bottom of the extended body and a handle portion at the upper end. A magnet, magnetic substance or suitable magnetic device is provided at or near the end of the support tip, and another. magnet may also be provided within the handle portion. A user can simply place the support tip on or immediately above a metallic item, and the item magnetically attaches to the support tip, thereby allowing more convenient retrieval of the item.
Locomotion safety and health assistant
A locomotion safety and health assistant can utilize a quad cane and have integrated thereon a suite of sensors, microcontrollers, power sources, external communication devices, lights, tactile communication devices, alerts and activation sensors. A plurality of environment sensors can monitor the terrain ahead, watching for obstacles or changes in elevation. The assistant can provide communication with the user to warn of any obstacles or dangers. A switch can allow the user to turn on a light that is directed to the front of the assistant and lights up the terrain ahead. The assistant can include a programmable medication alert. Additionally, a pulse sensor or other health sensor can be incorporated therein. Measurements therefrom can be compared to ranges and warnings communicated when outside of a safe range; thereby providing warning that it may not be safe to stand and walk as fall susceptibility is unduly high at present.
Walking aid with fold-out support legs for sitting down
A walking aid for taking up a deployment supported force for supporting a person using the walking aid, including a support upper part for engaging around the person, a shaft and a support foot arranged at a lower end of the shaft and having multiple swivelable support legs which can be moved between a storage position in which they are folded out from one another at a predefined angle and the walking aid can be set down on the ground, and a use position in which the support legs are folded together and arranged next to one another and the walking aid can be used, characterized in that the support legs are swivelably retained at a lower end of the shaft, and in that they are designed for taking up the deployment supported force in the use position.
FREE-STANDING BALANCING APPARATUS
A free-standing balancing apparatus is disclosed, which is useful for providing increased balance, proper support, and variable levels of stability to a user engaged in various types of physical activities. The apparatus comprises an elongated body that is adjustable in height, a handle near the top of the apparatus, and a stabilizing section that can be positioned and configured to contact the exercise surface as needed with varying levels of stabilization. Also disclosed are methods of using the free-standing balancing apparatus.
Crutch container
A crutch container includes a container housing having a rear wall opposite a front wall and a pair of lateral sidewalls extending therebetween. The container housing includes an open upper end opposite a closed lower end defining an interior volume. A height of the rear wall is greater than a height of the front wall and the pair of lateral sidewalls defining an upper panel. A strap is affixed to a rear surface of the rear wall along the upper panel, wherein each of a first end and a second end of the strap are removably securable to a front surface of the rear wall along the upper panel. A wedge extends from the rear surface of the rear wall adjacent to the closed lower end, wherein the wedge frictionally engages between a pair of inwardly tapering posts of a crutch.
CANE ASSEMBLY
An assembly and method for the operation and use of a cane assembly is presented. The assembly includes a handle portion configured to selectively adjust in length. A leg assembly is located at the bottom of the cane body and is configured to selectively operate between an open and a closed position, such that when opened, the footprint of the leg assembly increases to provide added stabilization to the cane body. A deployment mechanism is configured to selectively operate a leg assembly.
Smart cane with extensions for navigating stairs
Devices and systems are described including a walking aid including a linear rod having a first end and a second end, a hand grip disposed in proximity to the first end of the linear rod, two or more extendable and retractable self-leveling load-bearing feet at the second end of the linear rod, at least one sensor configured to detect a parameter of a walking surface in proximity to the second end of the linear rod, and a controller including a microprocessor and circuitry, the controller operably coupled to the two or more extendable and retractable self-leveling load-bearing feet and the at least one sensor, and including circuitry configured to receive information regarding the detected parameter of the walking surface from the at least one sensor and circuitry configured to actuate at least one of the two or more extendable and retractable self-leveling load-bearing feet in response to the information regarding the detected parameter of the walking surface.

Multifunctional Axillary Crutch Device Capable of Standing and Functioning as a Wheelchair and Mobile Bed
A multifunctional axillary crutch device functions as a crutch, wheelchair, and mobile bed. It resembles a conventional axillary crutch and retains all its functions. Four expandable support legs allow the device to stand when released and locked. When two crutches are standing opposite each other, the upper part of one folds horizontally and buckles onto the other to form a seat. Pulleys on the support legs enable wheelchair use. Above the folding point, all components are telescopic and extendable for use as a mobile bed. A magnetic adsorption system allows automatic leg deployment during emergencies to prevent falls. For frail users, the device can switch to strong support mode, enhancing grip and stability to avoid accidents.
