Eyelid care appliance
Disclosed herein is an improved eyelid care appliance and method of using such appliance for preventing and treating blepharitis and mammalian meibomian gland dysfunction caused by gland obstruction. The method and apparatus of the invention enable restoration and maintenance of eyelid hygiene and the natural flow of secretions from the meibomian glands. A preferred embodiment of the apparatus has an oscillating brush head affixed to the distal end of the eyelid care appliance. The brush head can be impregnated with topical pharmacologic or cleansing agents to better facilitate cleaning and therapeutic efficacy.
Exfoliating head with rolling elements
The invention provides a body care device (1) for treating a skin, the body care device (1) comprising a housing (100) and a skin treatment head (200) associated with the housing (100), wherein the housing (100) further comprises an actuator (110) configured to at least partly rotate the skin treatment head (200) about an axis (A), wherein the skin treatment head (200) comprises a plurality of bristles (211) defining a virtual edge face (231) circumferentially surrounding the plurality of bristles (211) and defining a virtual top face (232) defining a first height (h1) of the bristles (211) relative to a skin treatment head surface (201) of the skin treatment head (200), wherein the skin treatment head (200) further comprises a plurality of rotatable elements (240), wherein each rotatable element (240) is configured to rotate when a force in a tangential direction is applied to a rotatable element surface (241) of the rotatable element (240), wherein the rotatable element surfaces (241) are configured lower than the top face (232) and wherein in embodiments the rotatable element surfaces (241) at least partly extend beyond the edge face (231).
Universal facial rejuvenation treatment system (U-FRTS)
A system for facial and skin treatment includes a universal skin exfoliating and rejuvenating system that uses dual-function plate mounted onto the front edge of the hand-held system in a multi-step process. One step used in the multi-step process includes of a microdermabrasion procedure using diamond-tipped wands fixed on a dual-function plate to cleanse and exfoliate dead skin that simultaneously removes the dead skin away. In another dual-function process, a plate equipped with micro-needles and skin care products is used to generate collagen for firmer toned skin. The micro-needles are fixed on moving parts or roller, to help with fine lines, wrinkles, and large pores. Also, a dual-function plate is used for skin massage and special serum treatment and application. The handheld system is equipped with a miniature vacuum pump, mini supply containers, and control parts to supply serums and skincare products to the dual-function plates.
Skin Care Device With Improved Removable Massage Head Drive
A skin care device includes a massage head, a body to which the head is intended to be removably attached. The body includes a housing and a motor for actuating the head, and a coupling system for transmitting rotation from the motor to the head. The coupling system includes first and second coupling members, one of which constitutes a male member and the other constitutes a female member intended to receive the male member to cooperate with the male member in a form-fitting manner. The first coupling member is mounted in a substantially rotational manner relative to the housing, and the male member hasa general conical shape and including fins the free edges of which define the general conical shape.
Exfoliating head with rolling elements
A skin treatment head includes treatment head surface; multiple bristles extending from the treatment head surface and defining a virtual edge face circumferentially surrounding the bristles and a virtual top face defining a first height of the bristles; and one or more rotatable elements extending from the treatment head surface and having a second height lower than the first height, such that in order to apply a tangential force to rotate the rotatable elements, the skin treatment head is tilted relative to a skin surface.
Beauty treatment water generator and beauty treatment device using same
Disclosed is a beauty treatment device including: an upper portion; a lower portion; a handle formed on the lower portion; a hollow hole formed in the upper portion; a conductive holder configured in the hollow hole; and a beauty treatment water generator detachably attachable to the conductive holder, wherein at least a part of the beauty treatment water generator is configured as a conductor so that, when the beauty treatment water generator is inserted into the conductive holder and beauty treatment water flowing out of the beauty treatment water generator contacts human skin, micro-currents, which are generated in the beauty treatment device and flow through a beauty treatment water, can flow through human skin after passing through the conductive holder and the conductor.
Handheld cosmetic device with kinematic and optical sensing for customizing treatment routines
A skincare device includes a brushhead including a marking disposed on a surface of the brushhead, the marking including a shape and a color; a body including a motor assembly configured to oscillate the brushhead; and a first optical encoder configured to detect the marking and determine an identity of the brushhead.
Dermatologic lubricant dispenser and buffing applicator
A hand-held device includes a handle and a housing operatively connected to the handle. The housing includes a first portion and a second portion. A cartridge is inside the second portion of the housing. The cartridge is adapted to contain a bio-safe lubricant. An applicator head having a smooth surface is attached to the first portion of the housing. A nozzle is operatively connected to the cartridge and extends through the applicator head. The nozzle discharges the lubricant out from the applicator head. A rod is in the cartridge. A plate is connected to the rod and positioned in the cartridge. A first motor is in the first portion and drives motion of the applicator head. A second motor is operatively connected to the rod. The second motor drives motion of the rod in the cartridge.
