Dry eye treatment apparatus and methods
Dry eye treatment apparatus and methods are described herein which generally includes a patch or strip affixed to the skin of the upper and/or lower eyelids to deliver heat or other forms of energy, pressure, drugs, moisture, etc. (alone or in combination) to the one or more meibomian glands contained within the underlying skin. The treatment strip or strips include one or more strips configured to adhere to an underlying region of skin in proximity to one or both eyes of a subject such that the one or more strips allow for the subject to blink naturally without restriction from the one or more strips. Moreover, the one or more strips may be configured to emit energy to the underlying region of skin and where the one or more strips are shaped to follow a location of one or more meibomiam glands contained within the underlying region of skin.
Control system, control method, remote interactive control system and remoter interactive control method for sexual stimulation device
A control method is provided. The control method is applied to a sexual stimulation device including a vibration unit. The control method comprises the steps as follows. A communication connection is established between the sexual stimulation device and an intelligent terminal. A pressure of the sexual stimulation device and a moving speed of the sexual stimulation device are detected in real time. The detected pressure and the detected speed are obtained. A detect signal containing the detected pressure and the detected speed is generated. The detect signal is submitted to the intelligent terminal. A control signal is generated by the intelligent terminal according to the detect signal and further transmitted to the sexual stimulation device. The sexual stimulation device is controlled to vibrate according to the control signal.
Tissue Treatment Stick
A tissue treatment stick is disclosed. In an embodiment, the tissue treatment stick includes a treatment section including a vibration generating device, wherein the vibrating generating device is configured to vibrate the treatment section, and wherein the treatment section has at least one edge, the at least one edge extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the tissue treatment stick.
Vibration and heat generation apparatus for use with compression wraps
A system applies compression, vibration and heat to a body part of a person. The system includes a portable vibration and heat generation apparatus having a flexible support platform and a bag-like enclosure extending from the support platform. A cylindrical control unit is mounted to the support platform and extends perpendicularly from the support platform. The control unit has a diameter of between 50 millimeters and 100 millimeters. The control unit houses electronic circuitry and at least one battery. Four vibration pods extend from the support platform into the bag-like structure. The bag-like structure also houses a heat generation unit. The control unit extends through a circular bore in a compression wrap. The compression wrap is securable to a body part with a distal wall of the bag-like enclosure against the body part. The system selectively applies vibration, heat or a combination of vibration and heat to the body part.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PAIN CONTROL AND HEALING
A device for treating a user includes a housing having apertures. The housing has application areas including a convex top surface, a concave bottom surface, a convex rear surface, convex side surfaces and rounded protrusions extending away from the housing. A vibrational source is located in the housing to produce vibration at the application areas. A switch is in operative communication with the vibrational source to control operation of the vibrational source.
Face massaging device
Disclosed is a massage device for human face for driving vibration modules of a mask individually even without an external power supply to massage local or overall area of the human face and for driving vibrators of the vibration modules in various vibration pattern of pulse width modulation (PWM) to provide various massage functions such as appeasing, rubbing, picking, pressing, and knocking similar to massage carried out by human hands. The facial massage device includes a mask having an accommodation space therein and at least one vibration module accommodate in the accommodation space of the mask and having own power supply for allowing an independent operation.
Methods and systems for treating meibomian gland dysfunction using radio-frequency energy
A method of treating meibomian gland dysfunction is disclosed. The method includes directing RF energy to an internal portion of a meibomian gland, selectively targeting an obstruction within a duct of the meibomian gland with the applied RF energy to melt, loosen, or soften the obstruction, and expressing the obstruction from the duct of the meibomian gland. An apparatus for treating meibomian gland dysfunction is also disclosed. The apparatus comprises at least one RF electrode configured to direct RF energy to an internal portion of a meibomian gland located in an eyelid of an eye, the at least one RF electrode further configured to selectively target an obstruction within a duct of the meibomian gland with the applied RF energy to melt, loosen, or soften the obstruction. The apparatus also comprises at least one expressor configured to express the obstruction from the duct of the meibomian gland.
Facial cleansing apparatus using electric motor and spring, control method therefor, and recording medium recording program for performing control method
An apparatus for washing skin uses a brushless electric motor and a spring. The apparatus may include a case; an operation unit installed outside the case; a power supply unit installed at one end inside the case; the brushless electric motor installed inside the case; a control unit to output an electric signal; a face-washing brush fitted with a shaft of the brushless electric motor to be rotated forward and reverse as the brushless electric motor is operated; a holder and a spring.
Control arrangement for controlling the intensity of the massaging motion of a massage device and a massage device comprising a control arrangement of this type
The invention relates to a method for controlling the intensity of the massaging motion of a massage device including at least one preferably elongated massage section with at least one wall that forms the outer surface of the massage section. The massage device also has at least one first electric drive device having a first electric motor unit and at least one second drive device having a second electric motor unit, at least some sections of each unit being operatively connected either directly or indirectly to the wall in order to generate a massaging motion. A control assembly, which is connected to the electric motor units, is provided to control the intensity of the massaging motion. The current electric power consumption of at least the first electric motor unit is particularly advantageously determined periodically or continuously, the electric power consumption that has been determined is compared to at least one predefined reference power consumption and the intensity of the massaging motion generated by the second electric motor unit is controlled depending on the result of said comparison.
