PROTECTIVE HAND COVERING FOR INFANTS
A protective hand covering has a flexible shell with an open end and a closed end, and a constricted region between the open and closed ends. The constricted region defines a passage for receiving the child's hand. The hand covering may be worn by an infant or small child during sleeping or other activities, A gripping material is disposed on an inside surface of the shell at the constricted region and around the passage. The gripping material has a coefficient of friction higher than a coefficient of friction of the material of the flexible shell, such that the hand covering is discouraged from coming off of the child's hand.
ADJUSTABLE FIT GLOVE, KIT, AND METHODS THEREFOR
An adjustable fit glove that utilizes a heat shrinkable material.
Smart fabric that recognizes objects and touch input
A piece of smart fabric for recognizing an object or a touch gesture includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer has multiple resistive sensors and multiple capacitive sensors. Each resistive sensor corresponds to each capacitive sensor. Each capacitive sensor includes a first piece of conductive fabric and a second piece of conductive fabric, and each resistive sensor includes a piece of pressure sensing fabric sandwiched between the first piece of conductive fabric and the second piece of conductive fabric of the corresponding capacitive sensor. The second layer has multiple inductive sensors and multiple NFC sensors. Each of the multiple inductive sensors corresponds to each of the NFC sensors. Each inductive sensor and its corresponding NFC sensor share a same coil.
LAYERED OVERSIZED UPPER BODY GARMENT
A layered oversized upper body garment is disclosed herein comprising: (i) an outer layer formed of an outer fabric having an outer fabric thread count and an outer fabric thickness; and (ii) an inner layer formed of an inner fabric having an inner fabric thread count and an inner fabric thickness, wherein the inner fabric thickness is greater than the outer fabric thickness. The inner layer or the outer layer may each or both have more than one fabric with different or similar characteristics. The inner layer may be a loft fabric. For example, the inner fabric may be at least one selected from a group of cotton, polyester, cotton blend, polyester blend, microfiber, and combinations thereof. The outer fabric may be at least one selected from a group of viscose, satin polyester, satin weave fabric, natural silk, silk blends, synthetic silk, and any combinations thereof.
Cooling fabric
A cooling fabric including a moisture-permeable inner surface layer, a spacer fabric and an outer surface layer, wherein the outer surface layer has an air permeability of at most 250 l/dm2/min at 500 Pa measured according to ISO 9237 and wherein the spacer fabric comprises monofilaments extending across the spacer fabric, wherein the monofilaments have a linear density of at least 250 dtex and wherein the monofilaments are present at a density of at most 800 monofilaments per square-inch.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING PANTS AND OTHER GARMENTS FROM EXPOSURE TO RAIN AND OTHER CONDENSATION
A device for protecting a portion of a person's pant leg and shoe from exposure to rain is disclosed. The device includes a waterproof sheath for encasing a portion of the pant leg, the water-resistant sheath having an upper edge opposite a lower edge, and a front panel opposite a back panel, or alternatively of unibody construction encasing the entire leg. The upper edge of the sheath includes a lip for compressing against the pant leg. A stirrup attached to the lower edge of the sheath is included, the stirrup passing underneath a person's shoe or foot to secure the lower edge of the sheath to a lower portion of the pant leg. In a rainy environment, the device covers a person's lower pant leg to prevent the pant leg and/or the person's shoe from exposure to rain and other condensation.
Boronate adhesives for apparel products
Embodiments provide apparel products having boronate adhesives. The apparel products include a major component forming a base portion of the apparel product. The major component is configured to be supported and worn at least partially over a portion of a wearer. The apparel product includes a minor component forming a secondary portion configured to be coupled to the major component. An adhesive is disposed at least partially between a portion of the major component and a portion of the minor component. The adhesive includes a boronate ester bond.
Waistbands having Absorbent, Wicking, Expandable Bandrolls, and Garments With Same
A waistband for a garment includes a bandroll having an absorption layer and a wicking layer. The wicking layer controls stretch properties of the absorption layer. The waistband comprises a second material and wherein a shrinkage of a material substrate of the bandroll substantially matches a shrinkage of the second material.
Face Mask with Replaceable Filter Cartridges and Components
Disclosed herein are methods and systems for face mask with replaceable filter cartridges and components. A face mask includes a mask component, a replaceable filter component, and a closure component. The replaceable filter component is bonded to and as between the closure component and the mask component when the closure component is attached to the mask component.
Breast separator devices
Separator devices and garments comprising separator devices are provided herein. In some aspects, a separator device can comprise a base surface, a front surface, a top end, a bottom end, a first side surface, and a second side surface. In some aspects, the top end has a generally trapezoid shape with a rounded front edge. In some aspects, the separator devices described herein can comprise perforations (through-holes) for breathability.
