Method for manufacturing reel
A method for manufacturing a reel includes molding a reel configuration component that is made of resin and includes a reel hub with an outer peripheral face for winding a recording tape onto, after the molding and prior to the reel configuration component cooling and shrinking, embedding a reinforcement ring into the reel hub, and after the embedding, cooling and shrinking the reel configuration component and fixing the reinforcement ring to the reel hub.
Hub, information processing apparatus, and program
A hub includes a hub body around which a magnetic tape is wound, and a noncontact storage medium provided in the hub body, in which the noncontact storage medium stores hub specification information for specifying the hub body, and the hub specification information is associated with hub change characteristic information indicating a change characteristic of the hub body.
Unitary hub tape spool
An assembly comprises a substantially cylindrical tape winding surface and first and second flanges co-formed with the winding surface to form a unitary hub structure. The tape winding surface extends along an axis from a first end to a second end, and the first and second flanges extend radially from the first and second ends of the tape winding surface, respectively. The tape winding surface and the first and second flanges are co-formed of a unitary hub material having a Young's modulus of at least about one million psi.
TAPE REEL, TAPE CARTRIDGE, AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING TAPE REEL
A tape reel according to an embodiment of the present technology includes: a first flange; a second flange; and a reel hub having a cylindrical shape. The reel hub includes a first end portion formed integrally with the first flange, a second end portion to which the second flange is bonded, and an outer peripheral surface on which a magnetic tape is wound. The outer peripheral surface of the reel hub has a first outer peripheral region and a second outer peripheral region. The first outer peripheral region expands in diameter from the first end portion toward the second end portion. The second outer peripheral region expands in diameter from the first outer peripheral region across the second end portion and forms a ridge line portion having a shape projecting radially outward of the hub portion on a boundary between the second outer peripheral region and the first outer peripheral region.
Reel, method of manufacturing the same, and method of manufacturing reel component member
A reel comprises a bottomed circular tube shaped hub that has an outer peripheral face for winding a recording tape around; a first flange that is integrally molded to one end portion of the hub; a second flange that is joined to another end portion of the hub; a plurality of hole portions that are provided at equal intervals on a ring shaped reel gear formed at a lower face of a bottom plate of the hub; and a gate mark that is formed at the bottom plate of the hub, further to a radial direction inside than an inner peripheral face of the hub, wherein a difference in surface roughness between a weld portion and a non-weld portion on the outer peripheral face of the hub is 0.25 m or less.
Tape reel and tape cartridge
A tape reel according to an embodiment of the present technology includes: a cylindrical reel hub that includes an outer periphery portion, a tape being wound on the reel hub. The reel hub is formed of a material in which a deformation amount when a load of 300 N is applied radially inward to an axial center of the outer periphery portion is 0.3 mm or less and a water absorption rate is 0.1% or less.
Tape reel and tape cartridge
The tape reel includes the cylindrical portion and a bottom portion having an installation surface on which the cylindrical portion is installed upright. The installation surface has a central surface located on a center side of the bottom portion, and a first inclined surface formed on an outer peripheral portion of the central surface along a peripheral direction of the cylindrical portion and inclined such that a wall thickness of the bottom portion gradually decreases toward an outer peripheral side. A through hole penetrating the bottom portion is formed in the outer peripheral portion, a pair of wall portions are installed upright on the first inclined surface on both sides of the through hole in the peripheral direction, and a second inclined surface having an inclination angle smaller than an inclination angle of the first inclined surface with respect to the central surface is formed on a surface of each of the wall portions, which is connected to the central surface.
Recording tape cartridge configured to suppress damage to guide wall portions that are orthogonal to a loading direction
A recording tape cartridge includes two first guide wall portions formed in a direction orthogonal to a loading direction of the case into a drive device and between which a first protruding wall portion formed at a brake member is insertable, and two second guide wall portions and two third guide wall portions formed at regular intervals from the first guide wall portions in a circumferential direction. A second protruding wall portion at the brake member is insertable between the second guide wall portions, and a third protruding wall portion at the brake member is insertable between the third guide wall portions. An interval, , between each first guide wall portion and the first protruding wall portion, and an interval, , between each second guide wall portion and the second protruding wall portion and between each third guide wall portion and the third protruding wall portion satisfy 2.
RECORDING TAPE CARTRIDGE
A recording tape cartridge includes a set of two first guide wall portions formed in a direction orthogonal to a loading direction of the case into a drive device and between which a first protruding wall portion formed at a brake member is insertable, and a set of two second guide wall portions and a set of two third guide wall portions formed at regular intervals from the first guide wall portions in a circumferential direction. A second protruding wall portion at the brake member is insertable between the second guide wall portions, and the third protruding wall portion at the brake member is insertable between the third guide wall portions. An interval between the each first guide wall portion and the first protruding wall portion is denoted by and an interval between the each second guide wall portion and the second protruding wall portion and an interval between the each third guide wall portion and the third protruding wall portion is denoted by , 2 is satisfied.
Recording tape cartridge having a reel that includes a plurality of through holes formed in a flange thereof
A recording tape cartridge includes a reel including a reel hub having an outer diameter of an upper end portion which is smaller than that of a lower end portion, and including a lower flange in which plural through holes are radially formed. Inclined surfaces, formed at one edge portion and another edge portion of each of the through holes, are directed toward a flange circumferential direction. The one edge portion is directed in a rotational direction of the reel, when a recording tape is wound on the reel.
