Bib with bladder pocket and liquid bladder
A bib includes a pant portion, a torso portion, a bladder pocket and a liquid bladder. The pants portion includes a waist section and a pair of leg sections. The torso portion extends from the waist section. The torso portion includes a front and back panels disposed respectively adjacent the abdomen and lower back when the bib is worn by the user. The torso portion includes an outer surface facing away from the user torso and an inner surface facing towards the user torso. The bladder pocket is between the inner and outer surfaces extending from the front panel around the back panel and to the front panel. The liquid bladder is disposed within the bladder pocket and extends from the front panel around the back panel and to the front panel.
SWIMSUIT
The present invention relates to a swimsuit formed from a stretchable fabric that is configured to cover at least the buttocks and the abdomen in use, including: a first tightening portion configured to cover the entire abdomen and extend to the upper back; and a pair of symmetric first reinforcing bands, each configured to extend from one side of an armhole of the swimsuit across the abdomen and down to an end portion of the swimsuit on the other side, the pair of first reinforcing bands intersecting with each other in an area of the swimsuit covering the abdomen. A swimsuit having this configuration can support the wearers flat posture while preventing the abdomen from sinking during swimming.
Vented garment
The technology described herein relates to breathable, vented, and insulating garments. More particularly, the technology described herein relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Openings along seams between the insulating chambers may achieve evaporative moisture or air transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment. In an aspect, the garments comprise one or more insulated zones provided with one or more vented-insulation sections provided at locations on the garment configured to align with one or more areas of a wearer's body that are more sensitive to environmental conditions (e.g. temperature) and/or are prone to faster heat loss.
INSULATED PANELING FOR ACTIVE SPORTS
An active-insulation paneling component and garments including an active-insulation paneling component. The active-insulation paneling component includes insulated panels separated by gussets. The gussets are configured to expand upon an outward pulling force to allow the active-insulation paneling component and/or garment to expand even where the active-insulation paneling component and/or garment are not manufactured from elastic materials.
ADAPTIVE APPAREL WITH SUPPORT CONTROL SYSTEM
An article of apparel providing dynamic support for an appendage of a person is discussed herein. The article of apparel can include a support garment control device configured to provide dynamic support. The support garment control device can include a control lace coupled to a support portion of the article of apparel. In an example, the support garment control device configured to apply a first tension on the control lace, lock the support garment control device at the first tension to inhibit movement of the control lace in response to detecting a change in movement of the person, and unlock the support garment control device after a pre-determined event subsequent to the change in movement of the person.
MECHANICAL CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADAPTIVE APPAREL
A control system for controlling tension applied to a lace cable coupled to a support structure of an adaptive support garment is discussed herein. The control system can include a lace spool, a damper mechanism, and a locking ring. The lace spool can include a lace groove to receive the lace cable and a rotary bias member to apply rotational tension to resist extension of the lace cable out of a housing holding the control system. The damper mechanism is engagable with the lace spool to generate an additional rotational tension resisting extension of the lace cable out of the housing. The locking ring is frictionally coupled to the lace spool, and the locking ring can include a lock wedge adapted to disengage the damper mechanism upon rotation into a pre-determined rotational position relative to the damper mechanism.
Neck Guard
The invention relates to a neck guard having an impact guarding insert. The neck guard has a body with a top with two tabs, a bottom, two ends, a front side, and a back side. A cavity is formed within the neck guard for containing the insert. The insert can be a removable insert that is selectably inserted and removed through an opening in the front side of the neck guard. The insert can also be permanently secured within the cavity. The insert can have a plurality of honeycomb shaped holes through it, and it is preferably made of a flexible and compressible material. The insert has tabs that can be aligned with and mate with tabs of the neck guard body. The body also has a bib at the bottom of the neck guard. The insert is also positioned through interfacing with the top of the bib.
Headpiece with Adjustable Elastic Cord and Ball
A headpiece apparatus comprising of a headband member having a frontal holster, a removable 3D printed component secured to said frontal holster of said headband, and an elastic cord with one end anchored within a ball and the other end entering through said 3D printed component, circumventing said headband before and finally exiting out the said 3D printed component. The said 3D printed component which was created with thermoplastic elastomer, holsters a barrel lock which enables the user to freely change the length of the elastic cord to their preference.
Garment structure
A garment structure for making a base layer or midlayer jersey for sporting activities that includes a first tubular element that corresponds to both the front and the rear zone of the torso and a second tubular element that affects arms, shoulders and part of the torso in which both the first element and the second are obtained with circular machines making a knitted fabric that provides different processing that enable functional and structural features to be given to the knitted fabric and to the garment. In particular, the first tubular element has a cylindrical conformation with a lower edge that bounds the length of the jersey and an upper end divided into a pair of profiles: a first profile defined, laterally, by the line of the sides and a second profile that leads away from the line of the sides continuing the first profile with a trapezium configuration.
Blocker for a goalie
A blocker for a hand of a goalie that is designed to be more comfortable and adjustable, including to enhance flexion and extension of fingers of the goalie's hand. The blocker may comprise: a glove configured to receive the goalie's hand and comprising finger portions configured to receive fingers of the goalie's hand; a blocking member disposed over the glove and configured to block a puck or ball; a finger-protecting member disposed between and movable relative to the blocking member and respective ones of the finger portions and configured to protect respective ones of the goalie's fingers that are received in the respective ones of the finger portions; and a connector connecting the finger-protecting member to a given one of the finger portions.
