System and methods for pulmonary expansion therapy (PXT)
A pulmonary expansion therapy (PXT) device may be a handheld or wearable device that covers specific lung fields and may generate negative pressure fields locally. The device also may provide vibratory/percussion therapy for airway clearance. The PXT may generate a localized negative pressure field non-invasively to the exterior of the chest wall, thereby increasing the functional residual capacity in underlying lung fields. As a result, increased ventilation and perfusion to the targeted internal lung field may be achieved by creating a decrease in the external barometric pressure relative to the more positive intrinsic airway pressures. The PXT device also may improve lung compliance by elevating the chest wall to compensate for the dysfunction of the respiratory musculature responsible for lifting the chest wall. In some embodiments, once a targeted functional residual capacity (FRC) has been established, vibration or percussion may be applied.
LIGHTING FOR MECHANICAL CPR DEVICE
A mechanical cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) device includes a compression mechanism, a support structure, and a light source. The compression mechanism is configured to perform successive CPR compressions to a chest of a patient and includes, in one example configuration, a translucent suction cup, a piston, and a driver coupled to the piston and configured to extend the piston toward the chest of the patient and retract the piston away from the chest of the patient. The support structure is configured to position the compression mechanism over the chest of the patient. The light source is configured to illuminate the translucent suction cup.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
Embodiments of the present invention provide a therapeutic device and a method of manufacturing thereof. The therapeutic device includes a first structure and a second structure connected through one or more first compressible elements. Furthermore, one or both of the first structure and the second structure include one or more stimulation elements. Also, the one or more first compressible elements are configured to transition between a compressed state and an expanded state.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROMOTING HAIR GROWTH
According to some embodiments, a method of promoting hair growth or hair stimulation in a subject comprises applying vacuum or suction using a handpiece assembly along a targeted portion of the subject's skin surface where hair growth or hair stimulation is desired and providing at least one treatment material to said targeted portion of the subject's skin surface, wherein the application of vacuum or suction helps promote hair growth or stimulate hair.
HYDROTHERAPY MACHINE
A hydrotherapy machine includes an outer shell, a drive component, and a waterproof inner container. The outer shell is provided with a first accommodating cavity, a first water inlet, and a first water outlet. The first accommodating cavity, the first water inlet, and the first water outlet are in communication with each other. The drive component includes a control motherboard, a power supply, a drive motor, and a fan blade. The power supply is electrically connected to the drive motor. The drive motor is provided with a drive shaft. The fan blade is sleeved on the drive shaft, so that the drive motor drives the fan blade to rotate through rotation of the drive shaft. The waterproof inner container is positioned inside the first accommodating cavity. The waterproof inner container is provided with a sealed second accommodating cavity and a first installation opening in communication with the second accommodating cavity.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING SCALP HEALTH
According to some embodiments, a method of promoting hair growth or hair stimulation in a subject comprises applying vacuum or suction using a handpiece assembly along a targeted portion of the subject's skin surface where hair growth or hair stimulation is desired and providing at least one treatment material to said targeted portion of the subject's skin surface, wherein the application of vacuum or suction helps promote hair growth or stimulate hair.
DEVICE FOR BILATERAL REHABILITATION
A device for bilateral rehabilitation of a user's limbs, includes a main body connected to a base, a first motor and a second motor supported by the main body, a first and second rotary interfaces supported by the main body rotatably operable about first and second rotation axes by the motors. Grip accessories have a grip portion and a coupling portion couplable to the first and second rotary interfaces. An electronic control device is configured to control rotary movements and torques applied to the first and second rotary interfaces depending on angular positions or torques detected by a position or torque detector. The main body is connected to the base by an adjustable and lockable joint allowing adjustment and locking of the position of the main body with respect to the base in at least three different body positions with different orientations of the first and second rotation axes.
