Roller massage table
A roller massage table has a leg under each comer, a leg disposed under the center of the table, and a roller mechanism mounted within the center of the table. The roller mechanism includes a spring-loaded wheel and is slidingly mounted to a pair rails on the underside of the table enabling the roller mechanism to move up and down along a single axis.
REVERSIBLE OTTOMAN
An ottoman includes a support base, a reversible footrest that is removably supported in the support base and houses an electrically powered massager, and a compression band that is attached to the reversible footrest and extends over a top or bottom side of the reversible footrest, with the compression band being configured to compress a foot or feet of a user between the compression band and the reversible footrest. The reversible footrest has a first orientation in which the compression band is exposed outside the support base and a second orientation in which the compression band is stowed in the support base. The electrically powered massager is operable when the reversible footrest is in both the first orientation and in the second orientation.
TREATMENT DEVICE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING HEADREST ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED FILTER ASSEMBLY
A headrest assembly for supporting a head or face of a user of a treatment device includes a headrest and a filter assembly. The headrest is configured to support the head or face of the user. The filter assembly is coupled to the headrest. The filter assembly includes a filter connector that is selectively coupled to the headrest, and a filter body that extends in a generally downward direction away from the filter connector. The filter body can extend in a generally downward direction away from an inner edge or an outer edge of the filter connector. The filter body includes sides and a base that cooperate to define at least a portion of a filtering cavity that is configured to be positioned substantially directly below the head or face of the user when the head or face of the user is supported by the headrest.
Air Inflatable Massage Cushion
An air inflatable massage cushion contains: a body and a control box which is connected with the body via the multiple air tubes. The body includes multiple airbags communicating with at least one air channel via multiple air conduits, wherein a respective air channel is in connection with some of the multiple airbags, different air channels are connected with the multiple airbags which are intersected with one another. A respective one airbag does not communicate with at least one adjacent airbag so as to inflate or deflate airs in some airbags not communicate with one another via different air channels, thus inflating and deflating the airs of the airbags at different positions of the body to obtain air permeability and a massage effect.
Table Mounted Blood Circulation Enhancement Apparatus
This invention pertains to therapeutic or medical devices to improve healing, performance, or aesthetics by enhancing blood circulation to regions of the body. Blood circulation is enhanced using gravity by gradually raising and lowering the body member slowly and repeatedly from a level below the heart to a level above the heart.
Recovery from injuries can be a slow and time consuming process, requiring many hours over many days for the injury to heal. After recovery, ongoing treatment may be recommended to improve the overall health of the body part. Therefore, in order to be convenient and non-invasive, the therapeutic or medical device must not be too cumbersome or too invasive to be practical for regular use in a patient's home environment. The more cumbersome and/or invasive the device, the less likely the device will be employed and the less effective it will be in treating an injury.
This invention pertains to a blood circulation enhancement apparatus designed to be contained within a table, such as a living room coffee table, in order to provide convenience, ease-of-use, lateral stability, safety, quietness, and an unobtrusive and noninvasive storage location.
Human Performance Enhancement Method and Apparatus Using Upward Travelling Wave of Electrical Stimuli
A human body support has a plurality of electrodes arranged in an array and spaced longitudinally with respect to the human body. The array extends from an inferior position to a more superior position along the body. A sensor measures a parameter of the human body that is capable of indicating the presence of drowsiness. A controller has an input connected to the sensor for receiving a signal representing the sensed parameter and has outputs connected to each of the electrodes. The controller detects whether the sensed parameter is within a range indicating the presence of drowsiness and applies a wave of electrical stimuli against the human body in response to detection of a sensed parameter within the range. The electrical stimuli cause periodic tightening and relaxing of proximate muscles as the wave progresses in a direction from an inferior location on the human body toward a more superior location.
Bodyweight decompression table
Decompression table embodiments are described that provide body weight support distributed along the body by providing a lumbar support harness as well as separate foot and leg attachment elements, Other embodiments may either alone or in combination with body weight support elements may provide elements for placing the body in a pre-stretched configuration during decompression by curving the body support portion of the table and strategically adding controlled spacing from the cervical and lumbar areas to the table surface.
Spine Alignment and Decompression Systems
A system can include a base configured to support a lower half of a human body. The system can also include a headrest elevated relative to the base, wherein the headrest is disposed adjacent to a proximal end of the base, where the headrest is configured to support a head of the human body. The system can further include a back platform having a first end and a second end, where the first end is coupled to the base, where the second end is disposed adjacent to the headrest, and where the back platform has a curvature, where the back platform is configured to support a torso of the human body. The system can also include a vibrating mechanism in communication with the back platform, where vibrations generated by the vibrating mechanism translate to the back platform.
Human performance enhancement method and apparatus using wave of electrical stimuli
A human body support, such as a chair, has a plurality of electrodes arranged in an array and spaced longitudinally with respect to the human body.
