Electrical safety emergency response systems and related methods
An electrical safety system and method is provided which includes a flexible electrical safety vest, a lifeline coupled with the vest in various configurations, and leg straps. The electrical safety vest includes a number of loops which are used to couple the lifeline in a variety of relationships that enable different types of maneuvering of a worker with relation to a hazard. Various embodiments of the invention can be used to rapidly and safety remove a worker from proximity to an immediate threat to their life, health, or safety. Direct and indirect extraction from a danger are enabled. A variety of methods are also provided for operating various embodiments of the invention.
Textile or fabric with attached flexible and conformable light source apparatus
There is provided a device that requires the presence of a textile or fabric; and a flexible and conformable light source apparatus attached to the textile or fabric, where the light source apparatus requires: at least one light source; at least two conductive members having a first end and a second end, the first end is connected to the at least one light source and the second end is adapted to connect to a power source; and at least one transparent polymer layer that encapsulates the entirety of the at least one light source and at least part of the at least two conductive members.
ILLUMINATED INDICATOR ASSEMBLY HAVING PARTICULAR APPLICATION TO CLOTHING
An illuminated clothing article (8) including an indicator assembly (10, 12) having at least one light source (22), circuitry (14, 16, 18, 22), and a sensor (14, 16). The circuitry (14, 16, 18, 22) is configured to modulate at least one property of the light (22) emitted by the at least one light source (22) in response an external variable sensed by the sensor (14, 16). Grasp assist system with triple Brummel soft anchor
A grasp assist system includes a glove, finger saddles attached to a respective glove finger, one or more tendon actuators, and artificial tendons. The saddles have a rectangular body partially circumscribing a respective glove finger. Each saddle includes end lobes at opposite distal ends of the body. A first end of each tendon is secured to one of the tendon actuators. A second end forms a triple Brummel loop defining a main loop and two anchor loops. The anchor loops are disposed around the lobes. The saddles may form a rounded, double-headed arrow shape that is at least double the thickness of the body. The finger saddles are anisotropic, with different bending strengths depending on the axis, and may be constructed of thermoplastic polyurethane-coated nylon. Flexion and/or contact sensors and a controller, may be used. A method of connecting the tendon actuator to the finger is also disclosed.
TEMPORARY STERILE OUTER GARMENTS FOR PROTECTING STERILITY OF PRIMARY GARMENTS
A temporary outer garment includes a first portion configured to cover hands of a user, a second portion configured to cover arms of the user, and a third portion configured to cover a front side of the user. The first portion, the second portion, and the third portion are attached together to form the temporary outer garment. The temporary outer garment is configured to be worn over primary garments of the user to only cover hands, arms, and front portion of the user.
Safety gloves with tear away feature
Provided among other things is a safety glove for use on a hand with fingers with tear zones comprising: a seamless knitted liner (which can in embodiments substantially forms the glove) knitted throughout a safety zone with same yarn or mix of yarn, wherein one or more orthogonally knitted zones are knitted at a relatively low fabric density, wherein one or more orthogonally knitted zones are knitted at a relatively high fabric density, wherein the high and low density zones are configured to provide a four finger tear susceptibility of about 200 Newtons or less, wherein the safety zone includes the fingers.
Garden glove
A garden glove features a body formed from two pieces of material that are sewn together to include a number of finger portions. Webs extend between the finger portions and are delineated from the finger portions by stitching.
Particulate resistant garment
A protective garment system including a bib configured to fit around at least part of an upper portion of a torso of a wearer. The bib includes an outer material and a particulate-blocking material which is configured to be positioned between the outer material and a wearer when the bib is worn. The bib has a perimeter and is configured to be releasably attached to a pair of trousers about the perimeter.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
Provided is a protective garment that ensures facilitated doffing. A protective garment 10 according to one embodiment includes an upper part 12 of the garment, a lower part 14 of the garment, and an open/close portion 24. The upper part 12 of the garment includes a body portion 16, a pair of sleeve portions 18a, 18b, and a hood portion 20. The lower part 14 of the garment is connected to the upper part of garment. The open/close portion 24 is formed in a front body portion 16a of the body portion for donning and doffing the protective garment. A stretchable portion 32 is formed in a boundary between a back body portion of the body portion and the hood portion.
SURGICAL MASK HAVING SLIDING-DOWN AND FOGGING PREVENTING FUNCTION
The present disclosure provides a dental mask having an anti-flow and fogging function which has a nose ridge contact cover attached to the upper portion of the inside of a mask body, thereby being maintained at a normal wearing state without moving out of the ridge of the nose because it does not slip down even if a user talks or yawns with the mask on, thereby preventing glasses from being fogged by exhalation, and thereby keeping both sides of the mask body in close contact with the cheeks of the wearer without coming off from the cheeks.
