Steam system and method
A steam generator for a shower steam system includes a first chamber, a second chamber, and an intermediate heat transfer member. The first chamber is configured to receive water. The second chamber is configured to receive a flow of air. The intermediate heat transfer member fluidly separates the first chamber from the second chamber. The intermediate heat transfer member includes a heating element configured to generate heat energy. The intermediate heat transfer member is configured to transfer heat energy generated by the heating element to the first chamber to generate steam in the first chamber, and transfer heat energy generated by the heating element to the flow of air in the second chamber.
Portable therapeutic device and associated use thereof
A portable therapeutic device includes a portable body having a recessed central region and a raised outer peripheral edge surrounding the recessed central region and directly engaged with the recessed central region, a plurality of massage balls seated at the recessed central region and spaced inside a perimeter of the raised outer peripheral edge, a thermal-conductive element channeled inside the outer peripheral edge and spaced from the recessed central region, and a power source communicatively coupled to the massage balls and the thermal-conductive element.
PERCUSSIVE THERAPY DEVICE WITH ORIENTATION, POSITION, AND FORCE SENSING AND ACCESSORY THEREFOR
A percussive therapy device includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and at least one of an angular position sensor configured to obtain angular position data of the percussive therapy device and a linear position sensor configured to obtain linear position data of the percussive therapy device. An attachment module is configured to be operably connected with a percussive therapy device and includes a housing, a wireless connection module, and at least one sensor configured to obtain biometric data of the user or obtain information regarding operation of the percussive therapy device.
VEIN COMPRESSION METHOD FOR RESTRICTING BLOOD STEAL THROUGH A FISTULA
A method for applying focused pressure to a target vessel to restrict blood steal from the hand associated with the fistula. The target vein is treated with intermittent pressure multiple times a day to force blood into the hand by restricting blood flow through the fistula. The treatment is produced through a vein compression device having an inflatable bladder.
PERCUSSIVE THERAPY DEVICE WITH ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED ATTACHMENT
A percussive therapy system includes a percussive therapy device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and an attachment configured to be operatively connected to a distal end of the push rod assembly of the percussive massage device and to provide at least one therapeutic effect to a user. The attachment may include at least one of an actuator configured to provide the at least one therapeutic effect to the user and a sensor configured to obtain at least one of biometric data of the user and information regarding operation of the percussive therapy device.
ATOMIZING DEVICE FOR A STEAMING FACE INSTRUMENT
An atomizing device for a steaming face instrument, which comprises: a water delivery channel, the water delivery channel includes a water inlet and a water outlet; an atomizing sheet, the atomizing sheet is arranged at the water outlet , for atomizing water; and a heating mechanism, the heating mechanism is connected to the water outlet for heating the water mist, so that the temperature of the water mist is controlled between 45 and 60 degrees. By adopting the above design, the disclosure enables the liquid water to be atomized by the high-frequency resonance of the atomizing sheet, and then heats the water mist, so that the temperature of the water mist is controlled at 45-60 degrees, which is safe and effective. The volume of the face steaming instrument is reduced, it is convenient to carry, its power consumption is small, energy saving and environmental protection.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH A THERMAL MASSAGE SYSTEM
A seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back. At least one of the seat bottom and the seat back includes a trim cover having a seating surface and a plurality of individually-controllable massage elements underlying the trim cover. Each of the plurality of individually-controllable massage elements has a surface facing the trim cover, wherein at least a portion of the surface includes a heating layer selectively configured to generate heat.
Foot-massaging device
The foot-massaging device is a medical device adapted for use with a patient. The foot-massaging device is adapted for use with the left foot and the right foot of the patient. The foot-massaging device is adapted for use with the person lying in a prone position. The foot-massaging device massages, warms and provides therapeutic services to both the left foot and the right foot. The foot-massaging device comprises a chevron, a left foot apparatus, a right foot apparatus, and a control system. The left foot apparatus, the right foot apparatus, and the control system are mounted on the chevron. The left foot apparatus and the right foot apparatus massages, warms and provides electrical stimulation to the left foot and the right foot respectively.
EMERGENCY WASH SYSTEM
Apparatus and method for providing tempered water to an emergency wash system. Various embodiments include simple, reliable, low-cost flow regulators to reliably provide adequate emergency wash flows. Yet other embodiments include one or more features that consider the special needs of a person temporarily blinded, and include those persons having disabilities.
