Sauna heating apparatus and methods
In one embodiment, the present invention includes an infrared apparatus to heat a body. The infrared apparatus includes layers. The first layer has a first conductive path coupled to pass a first current. The second layer has a second conductive path running coincident to the first conductive path. The second layer terminates an electric field produced within said first layer. The first conductive path includes a resistive element that produces heat from the current.
Flow Sensor for Ventilation
A flow sensor system for ventilation treatment comprises a flow conduit configured to allow gas flow between a first region and a second region, the flow conduit defining a lumen for the gas flow; a flow restrictor disposed within the lumen of the flow conduit between the first region and the second region; a first absolute pressure sensor disposed adjacent to the first region of the flow conduit and configured to measure a pressure of the gas flow at the first region of the flow conduit; and a second absolute pressure sensor disposed adjacent to the second region of the flow conduit and configured to measure pressure of the gas flow at the second region of the flow conduit.
Medical photothermal moxibustion instrument
A medicinal photothermal moxibustion instrument relates to a medical device. An instrument working power source and an assembly plate of a moxibustion signal adjusting system are fixed in a shell; a setting key and a medicinal photothermal moxibustion head socket are installed on an enclosure panel; and a signal connecting conductor is used to connect a plug with a moxibustion head substrate that has a medicine line slot and a light emitting diode arranged on the working face. An S-shaped medicine line slot is arranged on the working face of the moxibustion head substrate, and the medicine line slot intersects with a wire connecting two light emitting diodes on the same diameter. Then the connected plug is inserted into a moxibustion head socket and a medicine line is squeezed into the medicine line slot. The invention changes the medicine line embedding method by squeezing the medicine line into the S-shaped or reversed S-shaped curved medicine line slot, effectively solving the problems that moxibustion medicines cannot be placed in the V-shaped shallow pit of the moxibustion head and fall off easily, allowing medicinal photothermal moxibustion, and facilitating the promotion and popularization of modern moxibustion technology and the improvement of therapeutic effect.
BODY MASSAGER USING SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY COMPONENTS
A massage apparatus includes a frame defining a central opening, with a web of mesh cloth or fabric spanning the opening. A plurality of SMA wire segments span the central opening directly adjacent to the cloth or fabric. The wire segments are joined at opposed ends to a power circuit that provides ohmic heating for the wires. The wires may be actuated singly and sequentially, the contraction of each wire providing a compression of the body portion upon which it impinges. The apparatus may be a portable massage device for use with any chair, or built into a chair or bed or other furniture, or a slipcover.
MASSAGE DEVICE
A massage device includes a base, a driving module, a massage head, an enclosure, and a heating module. The massage head is connected to the driving module, a side of the massage head away from the base is provided with a massage protrusion, and a first cavity is formed on a side of the massage head facing the base. The enclosure is arranged between the base and the massage head, an end of the enclosure away from the base is arranged close to an end of the massage head close to the base, a second cavity in communication with the first cavity is formed in the enclosure, and the second cavity and the first cavity jointly form a heating chamber. The heating module is accommodated in the heating chamber and fixed relative to the base.
Multi-function pelvic trigger point wand and related software.
A Multi-function Pelvic Trigger Point Massage Wand is a handheld device for the treatment of pelvic pain and pain/discomfort caused by related urinary and sexual dysfunctions. The device provides an adjustable combination of heat, vibration, electric stimulation, electromyography, photoplethysmography pulse oximetry, and biofeedback, depending on the treatment regimen desired. A metal sensor band around the release-end of the wand conducts electromyography and electrical stimulation. Photodiode sensors are coupled with green and infrared LEDs to calculate the users heart rate and blood flow. A sensor for biofeedback measurement assigns data produced from electrical stimulation sensors, electromyography sensors, photodiode sensors and the biofeedback/pressure measuring function to a smart device with operating software created specifically for the pelvic trigger point wand. The information output is collected and analyzed to show the results of different treatment techniques.
Meibomian Gland Roller
A Meibomian Gland Roller system allows for self-administered the treatment for a leading cause of dry eyes, namely, tear film oil deficiency. The system combines an effective and safe technique to combine mechanical rolling pressure with heat for meibomian gland drainage. The rolling action of the roller cylinder combined with the roller head to increase effectiveness in empting inspis sated meibomian glands. The roller allows the patient to safely start the application of the pressure at the bottom of the glands and effectively roll open clogged oil glands. The washable roller keeps the head clean for long term use. A preheated eye-shaped soft gel pad can prepare the lids before the roller tip is applied by heating and softening the meibomian gland contents, allowing the roller to have a more effective action to induce mechanical extraction of the gland content.
Method and system for regulating core body temperature
A method for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may involve delivering heat to a first location on a limb of the patient, delivering heat to a second location on the limb, apart from the first location, and applying intermittent compression to a third location on the limb, located between the first location and the second location. A device for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may include a sleeve for positioning over at least part of one of the patient's limbs, first and second heat delivery members coupled with the sleeve, and an intermittent compression member coupled with the sleeve between the first and second heat delivery members.
THERMAL VIBRATION FOAM ROLLER
A cordless foam roller applies heat and vibration through a rotary motor to muscles, and operates using an internal rechargeable power source when in use. The cordless foam roller includes an elongated cylindrically-shaped body having a textured exterior surface, and defining an inner cavity for receiving and accommodating an inner console; the inner console defining an inner cavity housing one or more of a circuit board comprising a microcontroller and heat and vibration setting buttons; a battery; and a rotary motor; and having an outer surface supporting one or more heating elements thereon. The foam roller is used for musculoskeletal rehabilitative, therapeutic and stretching programs.
Percussive therapy device
A percussive therapy device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The percussive therapy device includes at least one of a thermal sensor, a heart rate monitor or a heated massage member.
