Modifying humidity and convection to glabrous tissue to control metabolism
09737456 · 2017-08-22 · ·

Systems and methods for affecting metabolism, such as the treatment of metabolic syndrome are disclosed. A method for treating metabolic syndrome can include one or more of the steps including identifying a region of the patient comprising glabrous tissue; positioning the region of the patient comprising glabrous tissue into an enclosed chamber; adjusting the relative humidity of the enclosed chamber sufficient to create a physiologic metabolic effect; and activating a convection fan within the chamber to promote heat transfer from the glabrous tissue. The method need not involve altering the temperature within the enclosed chamber.

Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.

Handheld multi-tip scraping and moxibustion device
11246798 · 2022-02-15 ·

A handheld multi-tip scraping and moxibustion device, including: pushing and scraping air-guiding tips distributed on a panel each having a through-cavity; and a moxa burning chamber communicating with the through-cavity to enable heat and air in the moxa burning chamber to be discharged gradually for use through the pushing and scraping heat-conducting and air-guiding tips. The pushing and scraping air-guiding tips including a first set of pushing and scraping heat-conducting and air-guiding tips located in a middle portion of the panel and a second set of pushing and scraping heat-conducting and air-guiding tips located around the first set of pushing and scraping air-guiding tips, wherein the height of the first set of pushing and scraping heat-conducting and air-guiding tips is less than the height of the second set of pushing and scraping heat-conducting and air-guiding tips in order to form a multi-layered stepped air discharge.

A method and apparatus for the treatment of, and reduction of inflammation caused by, carpal tunnel syndrome.

Human Interface Device for Exoskeleton Apparatus

A human interface device is configured to be coupled to a trunk of a person and comprises a frame, a fabric coupled to said frame configurable to be under tensile forces, and a belt configured to be coupled to two side edges of said frame wherein when said belt is worn by said person, an area of said fabric will be pushed against the person's lower back conforming to the shape of the lower back of said person. In operation when said human interface device is worn by said person, the weight of any load coupled to or supported by said frame will be partially supported by the friction force between the area of said fabric which is pushed against the person's lower back, and the person's lower back allowing said person to carry said load.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED AND VIBRATING THERAPEUTIC GARMENT

A temperature controllable wrap assembly that includes a wrap portion configured to be worn around a user's body part, and at least a first temperature control module positioned on the wrap portion. The first temperature control module includes a housing, a controllable temperature element, a spreader member and at least a first finger spreader pivotably attached to the spreader member. The lower surface of the spreader member is positioned to contact the user's body part. The controllable temperature element is configured to transfer thermal energy to an upper surface of the spreader member, and the spreader member is configured to conduct thermal energy to the first finger spreader.

NOVEL MASSAGE GUN
20220168175 · 2022-06-02 ·

The present disclosure provides a novel massage gun, relates to the technical field of massage devices, and solves the technical problem that a wire between a handle and a massage head of the massage gun breaks easily when the massage gun moves at a high speed. The novel massage gun includes a gun body, a massage head arranged on the gun body, an auxiliary physiotherapy assembly arranged in the massage head, a main circuit board arranged in the gun body, and a connecting cable electrically connected to the auxiliary physiotherapy assembly and the main circuit board, where the connecting cable is made of a conductive wire resistant to high-speed bending. In the present disclosure, the connecting cable electrically connected to the auxiliary physiotherapy assembly in the massage head is made of the conductive wire resistant to high-speed bending, which solves the problem that the connecting cable breaks easily when the massage gun performs high-speed piston movement. Because the connecting cable does not break easily, electrical connection can be maintained, thereby prolonging the service life of the massage gun, and reducing use costs.

Personal Grooming Device
