Attachable exercise device for treating and stretching muscles, fascia and joints
An exercise device for stretching muscles, fascia and joints includes a rear base that transitions to a front nipple made from a solid and firm material. The device is attachable rigidly to a stationary structure such as a door jam in numerous different positions for use in a variety of exercises. The device may be attachable via a clamp unit that can be tightened laterally or other attachment means to attach to the door jam. The exercise device may be modular in form made from a plurality of pieces that are attachable to one another to form the device in a solid unitary structure.
Mobile upper extremity (UE) supports for use in railed environments
A patient aid assembly for a railed device having first and second associated rails in parallel relation, and an interconnecting member joining first and second mobile upper extremity support assemblies.
System and method of treatment using a universal cage apparatus
A system and a method of treatment using a universal cage creating a coordinate method of exercise. Physical therapy or fitness exercises are provided to a patient through a system of cords, blocks and belts disposed on a plurality of grid panels through a plurality of mounting devices. Placement of the mounting devices on the grid panel is determined by which muscle groups are receiving therapy and the type of movement required. Once the placement for each movement is determined, the coordinates of the mounting device are captured so that the mounting devices can be preset consistently for each therapy session.
MODULAR EXOSKELETON SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of operating a modular exoskeleton system, the method comprising: monitoring for one or more actuator units being operably coupled to or removed from the modular exoskeleton system, the modular exoskeleton system comprising at least a first actuator unit configured to be operably coupled and removed from the modular exoskeleton system; determining that the first actuator unit has been operably coupled to the modular exoskeleton system; determining the first actuator unit has been associated with a first body portion of the user; determining a first new operating configuration based at least in part on the determination that the first actuator unit has been operably coupled to the modular exoskeleton system and the determination that the first actuator unit has been associated with the first body portion of the user; and setting the first new operating configuration for the modular exoskeleton system.
Device and Method for Improved Muscle Contraction
A device and a method of applying vibration on a muscle for improving muscle contraction are disclosed. The device includes a motor. The device includes an adhesive strip. The adhesive strip is a reusable dual-sided adhesive strip. The adhesive strip removably mounts over a muscle or muscle group. The motor causes vibration and transmits the vibration to the muscle through the device and the adhesive strip, causing the user to concentrate on the muscle. The user detaches the device from one muscle or muscle group, and attaches to a different muscle or muscle group. The vibration caused by the motor helps the user to concentrate on the muscle during exercise, assisting with mind-muscle connection, which helps to improve muscle contraction.
THERMAL VIBRATION FOAM ROLLER
A cordless foam roller applies heat and vibration through a rotary motor to muscles, and operates using an internal rechargeable power source when in use. The cordless foam roller includes an elongated cylindrically-shaped body having a textured exterior surface, and defining an inner cavity for receiving and accommodating an inner console; the inner console defining an inner cavity housing one or more of a circuit board comprising a microcontroller and heat and vibration setting buttons; a battery; and a rotary motor; and having an outer surface supporting one or more heating elements thereon. The foam roller is used for musculoskeletal rehabilitative, therapeutic and stretching programs.
EXERCISE ROLLERS
Among others, the present invention provides exercise rollers each including two trays, each tray having an elongated track configured for receiving a roller element. Each roller element is movable along the corresponding track between its two ends, configured to enable a user to perform knee and leg exercise, and receive foot exercise, by moving the roller elements back and forth along the respective tracks.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING FOR GENERATING ALIGNMENT PLANS TO ALIGN A USER WITH AN IMAGING SENSOR DURING A TREATMENT SESSION
Systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums for generating, by an artificial intelligence engine, one or more alignment plans for aligning a user with an imaging sensor. The method comprises generating one or more machine learning models trained to identify alignment plans. The method also comprises receiving user data and determining that a targeted portion of a body of the user is outside of a field of view of the imaging sensor. The method further comprises generating the one or more alignment plans using the one or more machine learning models. Each of the one or more alignment plans comprises a target location within the field of view of the imaging sensor and one or more elements for adjusting the targeted portion of the body from a first location to the target location. The method also comprises transmitting the one or more alignment plans to a computing device.
CHAIR, PRESSING DEVICE
The invention relates to a chair for accommodating a person. The chair includes an upper body section having an upper body contact surface adapted or adaptable to at least parts of a front of a torso or a rear of a torso of a person placed on the chair, and a lower body section having a lower body contact surface adapted or adaptable to at least parts of at least a front of a thigh of the person, wherein the upper body section and the lower body section are arranged or arrangeable and fixable in a position relative to each other such that the upper body contact surface and the lower body contact surface cause a hyperextension posture of the hip joint of the person with a predetermined hyperextension angle. By forming the hyperextension angle of the hip on the chair, shortening of the anterior thigh and hip muscles can be counteracted. Also disclosed are a pressing device for application to the human body, which is adapted for use on a chair and which includes one or more pressure units each having at least one pressure head adapted to apply local or point pressure at a predetermined pressure location on the body of a person accommodated on the chair, and a chair having such a pressing device.
Apparatuses for arm exercise
The invention comprises an apparatus for arm exercise for therapy of a subject. The apparatus comprises a base comprising a planar upper surface. A first set of parallel rails are affixed to said upper surface of the base, the first set of parallel rails comprising a first rail and a second rail positioned parallel to each other and separated from each other by a predefined first distance. A second set of rails comprising at least a third rail having a first end and a second end are also provided, wherein said first end is slidably mounted on the first rail and said second end is slidably mounted on said second end. A sliding mount is slidably affixed to the second set of rails, and configured such that said sliding mount can be slidingly moved between the first end and the second end of the third rail.
