Aircraft Weight and Balance Calculator
An aircraft weight and balance system includes a user interface that displays an interior layout of an aircraft with seat icons and cargo icons corresponding to seats and cargo zones onboard the aircraft. The seat and cargo icons are moveable to different locations within the interior layout, and an updated weight and center-of-gravity of the aircraft is automatically determined based on the different locations of the seat and cargo icons. An aircraft weight and balance method includes displaying an interior layout of an aircraft on a user interface including seat icons corresponding to seats onboard the aircraft, moving one or more of the seat icons to a different location within the interior layout based on a user input, determining an updated weight and center-of-gravity of the aircraft based on a current location of the seat icons, and displaying the updated weight and center-of-gravity of the aircraft on the user interface.
AUTOMATED WEIGHING SYSTEMS
Systems and methods for an automated paper cone weighing machine are disclosed. A paper cone weighing machine may comprise a plurality of load cells arranged in a row, each load cell for weighing a material contained in a respective conically shaped paper roll of the plurality of conically shaped paper rolls.
PRINTER AND MEDIUM STORING PROGRAMS EXECUTABLE BY MOBILE TERMINAL
A printing apparatus communicates with a weight measuring apparatus and a mobile terminal. The weight measuring apparatus transmits measuring data of weight of a measurement object, and the mobile terminal transmits a data acquisition command requesting for transmission of the measuring data. The printing apparatus includes a head to execute printing on a print medium, and a controller. The controller is configured to: receive the data acquisition command from the mobile terminal; change a state of the printer from an instruction waiting state to a data reception waiting state; receive a second measuring data transmitted from the weight measuring apparatus; transmit the second measuring data to the mobile terminal; receive a print command corresponding to the second measuring data from the mobile terminal; and control the head based on the received print command to perform the printing, on the print medium, corresponding to the second measuring data.
WEIGHING SCALE
A weighing scale includes a scale body and a detecting board. The scale body includes a platform in contact with feet of a subject, a weighing mechanism, a signal processor, a wireless communication device, and a display screen. The detecting board is separated from the scale body and can abut against a top head of the subject and can move towards or away from the platform. At least one of the scale body and the detecting board includes a signal emitter, and at least one of the scale body and the detecting board includes a signal receiver. The signal emitter and the signal receiver measure a distance between the platform and the detecting board. The signal processor processes data of the signal emitter, the signal receiver, and the weighing mechanism, transmits processed data to the display screen and an external mobile device or server.
Container
A container stores, grinds, and measure material. The container includes upper and lower grinding sections that are mated together and rotated to grind the material. A collection section is below the lower grinding section and includes a mesh screen to filter particulate. The mesh screen also functions as a scale to weigh the contents in the collection section. An electronic housing includes a display, microcontroller, one or more buttons, a communications device, and a power supply. Below the electronics housing is a container section retained by a container holder that also includes a scale. The container is enabled to communicate with an external computing device through an application to send and receive data and commands.
DEVICE TO ESTIMATE AIRCRAFT INFORMATION
A system includes a signal generator that is configured to generate a first electrical signal. The system also includes a light source configured to generate a light beam based on the first electrical signal. The light source is also configured to direct the light beam towards a structural member of an aircraft. The system also includes a photoelectric sensor configured to receive a reflected light beam and convert the reflected light beam to a second electrical signal. The reflected light beam corresponds to a portion of the light beam that is reflected from one or more optical reflectors coupled to the structural member. The system also includes circuitry configured to estimate a location of a center-of-gravity of the aircraft based on a timing difference between the first electrical signal and the second electrical signal.
Weight scale and corresponding systems and methods for preventing advancement of congestive heart failure
A weight scale (100) for assisting with management of congestive heart failure and other ailments includes a housing (101) that can define a substantially flat planar surface (102). A weight measurement device (202) measures a weight of a user. A control circuit (201) stores in a memory (203) a first predefined weight threshold (205) and a second predefined weight threshold (206). The scale includes light sources (107,108,109) operable with the control circuit to selectively present one of three color-coded indications. When the weight is between the below the first predefined weight threshold, the light sources present a first color indication. When the weight is between the first predefined weight threshold and the second predefined weight threshold, the light sources present a second color indication. When the weight is above the second predefined weight threshold, the light sources present a third color indication.
Method for displaying the weighing result of a scale
The invention relates to a method for displaying the weighing result of a scale, in particular a shop scale, which comprises an identification, on a mobile display device. In said method, the mobile display device establishes a secure wireless communication link to the scale and displays the identification of the scale once the link has been successfully established.
System and Apparatus for Automated Public Scale
A system for making public a scale includes a device for capturing a weight from the scale and hardware for storing the weight and associating the weight with the scale (in some embodiments, the weight is periodically transferred to a server for central storage). There is a user interface for directing an operator having a vehicle to the scale and mechanisms for determining that the operator, and hence the vehicle, are located on the scale. Once on the scale, a weigh-bill is generated from the weight and the weigh-bill is communicated to the operator
WATER INTAKE CALCULATING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A device for measuring fluid includes a casing, and a weight sensing unit, a microprocessor, and a wireless communication unit. The weight sensing unit generates a weight signal corresponding to a weight of a cup and contents cup and contents rested on the casing. The microprocessor generates a control signal as to weight of the cup and contents each time the microprocessor receives the weight signal from the weight sensing unit. The microprocessor transmits the control signal to an electronic device wirelessly, commanding the electronic device to calculate current and cumulative water cup and contents each time the electronic device receives the control signal. The calculated water intake includes a current water intake and a cumulative water intake displayable for the information of the user.
