Collaborative weighing and measuring system and metering system
The present invention discloses a weighing and measuring system, comprising a weighing sensor network constituted by networking a plurality of weighing sensors, wherein in the weighing sensor network, each of subtasks into which a weighing task is split is assigned to each of weighing sensors in the weighing sensor network; and each of the weighing sensors respectively and independently executes the assigned subtask and exchanges task data through the weighing sensor network. The weighing sensors collaboratively process a weighing task, which no longer depends on an instrument or a computer, thereby reducing the cost of the whole system, and improving the tolerance level to environment. The collaborative processing mode also avoids the bottleneck of data communication information summarization.

A weight sensor unit, comprises a weight sensor configured to output weight sensor readings indicative of the weight being supported thereby. A transmission device is configured to transmit wireless signals, and a processor, is coupled to the weight sensor and to the transmission device. The weight sensor unit includes a battery. The weight sensor, transmission device and processor are powered by the battery. In use, the processor is configured to receive one or more weight sensor readings output by the weight sensor, and transmit the weight sensor readings wirelessly using the transmission device. The weight sensor unit may include a wireless transceiver configured to wirelessly interact with devices placed in proximity thereto. In an embodiment, all electronic components of the weight sensor unit are powered by the battery. A dispensing unit incorporating the weight sensor unit is also disclosed.
Systems and methods for mobile dimensioning and weighing
Systems and methods for mobile dimensioning and weighing are disclosed. An example mobile weighting and dimensioning system includes a truck scale system and a tape measure. The truck scale system includes: a fork scale to weigh a parcel that is held by forks; and a weight indicator to receive an indication of the weight of the parcel from the fork scale. The tape measure includes: a tape cartridge to spool and unspool a tape having electronically readable indicia; a measurement circuit to determine linear dimensions of the parcel by reading the electronically readable indicia in response to trigger events; and a communications circuit to transmit the first linear dimension of the parcel to the weight indicator. The weight indicator associates the weight and the first linear dimension with an identifier of the parcel, and transmits the weight, the first linear dimension, and the identifier to a computing system.
Ecommerce picking and packaging cart
Various configurations of picking and packaging carts are disclosed that can be advantageously employed in Ecommerce and retail settings to improve operational efficiency. Examples can preclude the need for a detour from the item retrieval location to a packaging area, prior to delivery to a shipping area, such as a drop-off point. Some examples include a frame; a shelf rack; accessory support units including a printer holder; multiple shipping container support units configured to hold a plurality of shipping containers of a plurality of sizes; and a packaging shelf arrangement comprising a top shelf providing a flat packaging surface.
AUTOMATED LOAD AND UNLOAD DETECTION SYSTEM FOR BULK MATERIAL HAULER VEHICLES
A system for automatically detecting an operational event for a bulk material hauler vehicle. The system includes a sensor mounted on the bulk material hauler vehicle, which is adapted for hauling a bulk material such as an aggregate. The system further includes a telematics system provided on the bulk material hauler vehicle. The telematics system includes a processor running software (or executing instructions or code) for detecting the operational event (e.g., providing functions of a load and unload detection module or discriminator as described herein). During vehicle operations, the sensor transmits sensor data to the telematics system, and the detecting of the operational event includes retrieving a signature definition for the operational event and then verifying the sensor data meets requirements of the signature definition. In some embodiments of the system, the operational event is loading the bulk material on or unloading the bulk material from the vehicle.
Weighing instrument using a general-purpose computer as the primary display and data entry
A commercial-transaction weighing instrument (110) subject to W&M legal controls, configured with a weighing platform (12), at least one load cell (16), a controller (120) with weight-processing (122) and communications (124) modules, and software to be implemented on a general-purpose computer with display and data entry capabilities. The general-purpose computer itself is not subject to legal controls. The weight-processing module receives data from the at least one load cell and generates output data in the nature of weight and legally-required weighment information. The communications module receives the output data of the weight-processing module and further transmits the data to a general-purpose computer (136). Software implemented on the general-purpose computer has program code for establishing encrypted bidirectional communication with the communications module and to operate as the primary display device for the weighing instrument. Software implemented on the general-purpose computer also has program code for transmitting signals from the general-purpose computer to the communications module in the nature of data or instructions for the weight processing module.
Appliance Comprising Weight Sensing Technology
The present invention discloses a system having a appliance and a manufacture server having one or more databases. The appliance can be used perform operations to wash and dry the one or more articles, the appliance also can perform task such as to obtain a article profile upon scanning a optical code on the article via a camera on the appliance. The manufacture server can be configure to obtain a article profile request signal from the appliance, the manufacture server may obtain the article profile from the one or more databases and distribute a article profile return signal to the appliance. Upon the appliance obtaining the article profile return signal a user may be able to execute one or more washing and/or drying task based upon the data obtained from the article profile request signal.
Systems and methods for verified biomeasurements
A method includes generating, via a camera, image data that is reproducible as an image of at least a portion of a subject. The method also includes receiving, via a sensor, first biomeasurement data associated with the subject, the first biomeasurement data including a first biomeasurement of the subject. The method also includes verifying the first biomeasurement of the subject based at least in part on a comparison between at least a portion of the image data and at least a portion of the first biomeasurement data.
