Irradiance-controlled fixture for horticultural applications
Various implementations disclosed herein includes a method for operating lighting fixtures in horticultural applications. The method may include receiving a user input of a desired irradiance for a first color channel of one or more lighting fixtures that irradiates a plant bed, in which each of the one or more lighting fixtures comprises at least one light emitting diode (LED) array, determining, for each of the one or more lighting fixtures, a PWM setting of the first color channel such that each of the one or more lighting fixtures irradiate the plant bed at the desired irradiance based on calibration data stored in each of the one or more lighting fixtures, and applying, to each of the one or more lighting fixtures, the determined PWM setting of the first color channel.

Electronic Device With Optical Sensor for Sampling Surfaces
A device such as a stylus may have a color sensor. The color sensor may have a color sensing light detector having a plurality of photodetectors each of which measures light for a different respective color channel. The color sensor may also have a light emitter. The light emitter may have an adjustable light spectrum. The light spectrum may be adjusted during color sensing measurements using information such as ambient light color measurements made with a color ambient light sensor that has a plurality of photodetectors each of which measures light for a different respective color channel. An inertial measurement unit may be used to measure the angular orientation between the stylus and an external object during color measurements. Arrangements in which the light emitter is modulated during color sensing may also be used. Measurements from the stylus may be transmitted wirelessly to external equipment.
LED luminaire having enhanced thermal management
In one aspect, luminaires are described herein having sensor modules integrated therein. In one aspect, a luminaire described herein comprises a light emitting face including a LED assembly. A sensor module is integrated into the luminaire at a position at least partially overlapping the light emitting face. In another aspect, a luminaire described herein comprises a LED assembly and a driver assembly. A sensor module is integrated into the luminaire along or more convective air current pathways cooling the LED assembly or driver assembly.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AN ADAPTABLE VEHICLE LIGHT FIXTURE
A method and apparatus for an adaptable vehicle light fixture is provided to activate varying light distribution patterns based upon preconfigured operation of trigger and/or power wires. One or more trigger and/or power wires connected to one or more vehicle light fixtures are preconfigured through wired and/or wireless programming to generate specified light distribution patterns that are responsive to the preconfigurations during manual operation. Wireless preconfiguration includes the use of a handheld magnetic device or smartphone. Wired preconfiguration includes the use of a vehicle-based controller area network (CAN) bus. Any preconfigured operation may be changed at any time by the user by programmably changing the preconfiguration.

Light exposure monitoring system
The present disclosure relates to a light exposure monitoring system that includes a central control server; a plurality of indoor light exposure zones and a positioning system configured to communicate with the central control server to determine: a position (P) of an individual within the plurality of indoor light exposure zones, and a distance between a head of the individual and a floor within the plurality of indoor light exposure zones
IMAGE RENDERING APPARATUS, HEAD UP DISPLAY, AND IMAGE LUMINANCE ADJUSTING METHOD
An image rendering apparatus includes a light source unit, a detecting unit, an optical scanner, a light source driving unit, and an adjusting unit. The light source driving unit is configured to control the light source unit in such a way that a rendered image is generated by the scan of the optical scanner inside a scan area scanned by the optical scanner and that a characteristic laser beam is emitted at a position and in a pattern corresponding to a rendered content of the rendered image. The rendered image includes an indicator related to a speed of a vehicle. The light source driving unit is configured to control the light source unit to emit the characteristics detecting laser beam in such a way that a scale for the indicator related to the speed of the vehicle is rendered.
