A massage cell arrangement comprising a plurality of inflatable/deflatable cells arranged in a first series of successive cells, a plurality of inflatable/deflatable cells arranged in a second series of successive cells, the cells of a series of successive cells being substantially aligned along the main direction of extension of the series of successive cells, the first and second series being aligned such that the main direction of extension of the first series coincides with the main direction of extension of the second series, the first and second series being arranged such that two successive cells of the first series together cover 10-100% of a major surface area of a cell of the second series and wherein each of said two successive cells of the first series cover 5-95% of the major surface area of said cell of the second series.

Massage apparatus providing pulsed electromagnetic field

A massage apparatus providing a pulsed electromagnetic field may comprise: a massage unit which comprises a mount frame provided so as to be movable along the body of a user, and an acupressure module protrudingly provided to the mount frame so as to apply pressure to the body of the user; a pulsed electromagnetic field generator which is provided to the mount frame so as to be independent from the acupressure module, and which generates a pulsed electromagnetic field by means of power applied thereto; and a controller which controls the operation of the acupressure module or the generation of the pulsed electromagnetic field. According to such massage apparatus, a pulsed electromagnetic field may be generated by having the pulsed electromagnetic field generator be provided to the massage unit so as to be separate from the acupressure module or air cells performing a massaging operation. In addition, an effect such as body tissue cell activation or damaged cell healing of the pulsed electromagnetic field may be provided when the massaging operation is being performed. Thus, compared to when only a pulsed electromagnetic field is provided without a massaging operation, or when only a continuous electromagnetic field is provided, fatigue of a user may be alleviated, or a disease or illness treatment or prevention effect may be doubled. In addition, since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator is arranged so as to be independent from the acupres sure module or air cells, the range of effects of the electromagnetic field may be expanded so as to include providing a pulsed electromagnetic field to even nearby sites to which pressure is not applied by the acupressure module or air cells, and since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator may be independently detached or replaced, costs for managing the massage apparatus may be reduced.

Neck and Upper Back Massage Device

A massaging device with linearly adjustable nodes that conform to different bodies and treatment regimens, capable of simultaneously massaging both the neck and upper back of a user. The device requires no effort or force on the part of the user to hold the device in position or to apply pressure.

Cervical-curvature autocorrect apparatus and methods incorporating the apparatus

An apparatus for manipulating (in one alternative correcting) the cervical curvature of a user, the apparatus having a top, a bottom, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, wherein: proximate the top, a thoracic section for receiving the upper back region of a user, preferably for receiving the thoracic region of the user; proximate the top, a cervical section for receiving the cervical curve region of the user; the cervical section is movable with a traction path in at least one of the following planes vertical, horizontal and combinations thereof; in one alternative, the cervical section is movable in an arc-like motion along the vertical plane.

Massage machine

A massage machine includes a seat unit on which a treatment subject person is configured to sit, a backrest unit configured to support a back of the person sitting on the seat unit, a base that is disposed in front of the backrest unit; and a treatment mechanism that is attached to the base configured to perform a massage on a shoulder of the person in a state where the person sits on the seat unit. The treatment mechanism includes a drive unit which includes an output shaft attached to the base and rotated by supplied power, and a treatment device configured to press the shoulder from above. In accordance with rotation of the output shaft, the treatment device oscillates in an upward/downward direction so as to perform the treatment on the shoulder.

Upper body attachment apparatus for whole body vibration equipment
11696864 · 2023-07-11 ·

An upper body attachment, which may be used with a piece of exercising, stretching, or massaging equipment that incorporates whole body vibration (WBV) technology, and provides a user with a way to apply WBV technology to the upper body. The attachment may include a pair of uprights and a crossbar to which a variety of types of handles may be slidably attached. The attachment may have a base that both supports the uprights and connects the uprights with the equipment incorporating the WBV technology. Accordingly, the attachment transfers vibrations from the vibrating equipment to the handles that a user grips. Several exemplary WBV upper body exercises that the attachment facilitates include push-ups, pull-ups, and dips.

Provided is an artificial muscle device, including a plurality of heat transfer modules including a thermal conductive body in which a plurality of tunnels parallel to each other and a thermoelectric element contacting an outer surface of the thermal conductive body, a connection member connecting a first heat transfer module to a second heat transfer module, the connection member being folded or unfolded according to a distance between the first heat transfer module and the second heat transfer module, a thermal reaction driving member passing through each of the tunnels, the thermal reaction driving member being stretched or contracted in a longitudinal direction of the tunnel according to a temperature of the thermal reaction driving member, and a power transmission part connected to an end of the thermal reaction driving member.

Massage machine

Under the control of a controller, a drive mechanism portion moves a massaging member and an ascent-descent mechanism moves up and down the massaging member together with the entire drive mechanism portion. During an ordinary kneading massage, the massaging member performs a relative motion to describe a reference locus in the shape of a closed curve. The controller controls to make the massaging member perform a relative reciprocating movement within a partial movement range corresponding to a partial segment of the reference locus and simultaneously controls to make the ascent-descent mechanism move the drive mechanism portion up and down. The relative reciprocating movement of the massaging member along the partial segment of the reference locus and the up-down movement of the entire drive mechanism portion are combined together to produce a new motion of the massaging member describing a locus different from the reference locus.
