Pressure release and massage tool
Device and method for relieving muscle tension. The device includes a tip portion with a first three dimensional geometry, an extension portion with a second three dimensional geometry, and a base portion with a third three dimensional geometry. The device is configured such that a user can attain trigger point release on a muscle or muscle group by positioning the device on a fixed surface, positioning the tip portion of the device to be in contact with the muscle or muscle group, and then selectively applying pressure to the muscle or muscle group using the weight of the user and contact forces.
Garment designed to reduce cellulite by micro-massage
A garment having at least one sleeve, intended to cover a part of the body of a wearer, the sleeve having at least one region, the inner surface of which is equipped with a network of picots, the sleeve being designed to be able to exert compressive stress from said picots onto the skin of the body part that is intended to be positioned facing said network, the picots each having a trigonal base and being distributed in the network so as to form alveoli between adjacent picots, the sleeve being designed such that the picots can exert pressure on the skin great enough to form a skin protrusion in at least one alveolus in order to micro-massage the protrusion during relative movements taking place between the network and the body part.
WEARABLE ROBOTIC DEVICE
A self-aligning, self-drawing coupler for coupling body assemblies together improves usability of a wearable robotic device. A self-contained removable actuator cassette improves the ease of manufacture and of replacing parts in the field. A tensioning retention system designed for one handed operation makes donning and doffing a wearable robotic device easier. A two-stage attachment system increases the range of sizes a wearable robotic device will fit. A removable, integrated ankle-foot orthotic system makes donning and doffing a wearable robotic device easier. An infinitely adjustable, integrated ankle-foot orthotic system increases the range of sizes a wearable robotic device will fit. A manually-removable hip-wing attachment system makes field changes easier, and protecting such a system from inadvertent disengagement during operation increases safety.
Walking assistance apparatus
A walking assistance apparatus includes a rear support module configured to support a rear portion of a waist of a user, a driving module configured to provide a power to assist a motion of a hip joint of the user, a thigh support connected to the driving module, the thigh support configured to support a thigh of the user, and a waist frame including a pair of shafts configured to connect the rear support module and the driving module.
Multi-function pelvic trigger point wand and related software.
A Multi-function Pelvic Trigger Point Massage Wand is a handheld device for the treatment of pelvic pain and pain/discomfort caused by related urinary and sexual dysfunctions. The device provides an adjustable combination of heat, vibration, electric stimulation, electromyography, photoplethysmography pulse oximetry, and biofeedback, depending on the treatment regimen desired. A metal sensor band around the release-end of the wand conducts electromyography and electrical stimulation. Photodiode sensors are coupled with green and infrared LEDs to calculate the users heart rate and blood flow. A sensor for biofeedback measurement assigns data produced from electrical stimulation sensors, electromyography sensors, photodiode sensors and the biofeedback/pressure measuring function to a smart device with operating software created specifically for the pelvic trigger point wand. The information output is collected and analyzed to show the results of different treatment techniques.
Health-regain device and system thereof
A health-regain device, includes a driving portion; a health-regain portion, which is disposed on one side of the driving portion; and a control module, which is communicably connected to the driving portion, wherein the control module controls the driving portion driving the health-regain portion in rhythmic reciprocating motion.
LEGGED MOBILITY EXOSKELETON DEVICE WITH ENHANCED ADJUSTMENT MECHANISMS
A hip component for a legged mobility device has a hip body, and a hip insert assembly for adjusting a size of the hip component. The hip insert assembly includes a carrier assembly mounted to the hip body, and a main insert assembly spaced apart from the carrier assembly. Adjustment screws are connected to the carrier assembly and the main insert assembly. The carrier assembly includes an adjustment mechanism including a drive shaft and an adjustment chain to effect translational movement of the adjustment screws to move the main insert assembly to adjust both width and depth of the hip component simultaneously. The hip component includes an abduction/adduction control mechanism that includes elastomeric bushings that are selective as to resistance level and shape to control a degree of abduction and adduction, and to preset an initial angle. A leg component includes a central carrier, and first and second housings that are located on opposite sides of the central carrier. An adjustment mechanism including a drive shaft that drives driven shafts, such as by a worm/worm gear interaction, effects movement of the first housing to relative to the second housing to adjust a length of the leg component.
Motion assistance apparatus
A motion assistance apparatus including a first support configured to support a waist of a user, a side frame connected to the first support and configured to cover at least a portion of a side of the waist, and a joint assembly connected to the side frame such that a location of the joint assembly is adjustable in a longitudinal direction of the side frame, and configured to be located at a part of a hip joint of the user is disclosed.
Pelvic massage device and method of use
A massage tool that provides direct therapeutic pressure to the ventral rami and femoral nerves, and/or the psoas and iliacus muscles is disclosed. The tool includes upward pointing blades that may be properly aligned with the nerves and/or muscles to gently lengthen the nerves and relax the muscles. This in turn may lessen pressure to associated joints and bones thereby providing relief to chronic back and/or leg pain.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING MULTIPLE SURGICAL VARIABLES
A surgical patient interface including a base; a platform coupled to the base and including a first end and a second end, the platform configured to transition between a first position and a second position about a pivotable axis stationary relative to the base; a first abutment and a second abutment each adjustably coupled to the platform. In the first position, the platform extends between the first end and the second end in a substantially horizontal direction relative to the base, and the first abutment and the second abutment are separated by a first distance along the substantially horizontal direction. In the second position, the platform extends between the first end and the second end in a substantially vertical direction such that a torso of a patient extends in the substantially vertical direction, and the first abutment and the second abutment are separated by a second, different distance along the substantially vertical direction.
