Torque sensor for an electric bicycle
An electric bicycle having an electric motor mounted to a frame of the bicycle and which includes a motor output shaft defining an output end engaging a drive chain of the bicycles drive train to transmit the drive of the electric motor thereto. A torque sensor includes a base mounted in fixed relation to the frame and/or the electric motor. The torque sensor has a flexible arm extending from the base and a sensing member mounted to an extremity of the flexible arm that is displaceable relative to the base. The sensing member engages the drive chain along a segment thereof and is displaceable thereby. The segment of the drive chain extends from the output end of the motor output shaft to the pedal crank of the drive train.

POWER METER FOR CYCLING
A power meter for cycling is capable of measuring a positional and/or alignment change of a first measurement location on a rigid component of a human-powered vehicle relative to a second measurement location. Power output by the cyclist during cycling is then calculated based upon the measured positional and/or alignment change. The positional and/or alignment change may be measured using, e.g., a magnet/magnetic-field sensor pair or by a light source/light sensor pair.
MULTI-AXIS FORCE AND TORQUE SENSOR AND ROBOT HAVING THE SAME
A multi-axis force and torque sensor and a robot are provided. The sensor includes a first supporting element, a second supporting element, a deformable component connected between the first supporting element and the second supporting element, and multiple signal pairs. The deformable component is configured to deflect in response to applied external force and torque in multiple directions. Each of the multiple signal pairs includes a magnet and a hall effect detector. The magnet is mounted on one of the first supporting element and the second supporting element, and the hall effect detector is mounted on the other. The hall effect detector is located corresponding to the respective magnet. One or more magnetization directions of the magnets of the signal pairs are different such that the signal pairs are capable of measuring force and torque applied on the first supporting element and the second supporting element in different directions.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSDERMAL ALCOHOL MONITORING

The method can additionally or alternatively include: modifying operation of the transdermal alcohol sensing device based on the intoxication metric; determining contextual data; maintaining a hydration level of the transdermal alcohol sensing device; and any other suitable processes. A system for monitoring intoxication of a user including a sensor and a housing. The system can additionally or alternatively include any or all of: an inlet, a fastener, an electronics subsystem, a user device, and/or any other suitable component.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TORQUE MEASUREMENT
The present disclosure describes a concept for torque measurement on a shaft. To that end, millimeter waves are transmitted in the direction of a first encoder structure, which is coupled to a first shaft section of the shaft for conjoint rotation and is arranged around the shaft, and in the direction of a second encoder structure, which is coupled to a second shaft section of the shaft for conjoint rotation and is arranged around the shaft. The first encoder structure and the second encoder structure are rotatable relative to one another in the case of a torque to be transmitted via the shaft. At least one reception signal is generated on the basis of millimeter waves reflected or transmitted by the first and second encoder structures. A torque transmitted using the shaft is determined on the basis of the at least one reception signal.
