The method also includes identifying, based on at least the treatment data, the URD, and the alignment data, at least one alignment characteristic associated with the user and modifying at least one aspect of the treatment plan in response to receiving, from a healthcare professional, treatment plan input including at least one modification to the at least one aspect of the treatment plan.
MOTION ASSIST DEVICE
A motion assisting device assists a movement of a wearer raising an upper body and includes a first assisting unit and a second assisting unit. The first assisting unit and the second assisting unit are attached to a left side surface and a right side surface of the wearer, respectively, and each include a power unit that swings a leg rod and applies, to the leg rod, a force in accordance with the swinging movement of the leg rod. The power unit is connected to a back surface frame that is a rigid body and connects the first assisting unit and the second assisting unit. A back plate of an upper body fixing member is connected to the back surface frame by a coupling member. The back plate is swingable at least in an up-down direction and a left-right direction with respect to the back surface frame.
Apparatus for measurement of a limb circumference, a device for measurement of a limb compliance comprising the same and a device used in the treatment of lymphedema comprising the same
The present invention provides an apparatus for measurement of a limb circumference, comprising a pull string module, a first measurement module and a second measurement module. The pull string module comprises a surrounding component, wherein the surrounding component comprises an encircling part disposed around a limb of an individual; the first measurement module is disposed at the pull string module and moves alone the longitudinal axis of the limb and meanwhile measures the length of the limb; and the second measurement module measures the length of the encircling part simultaneously when the first measurement module move alone the limb, so as to determine the correlation between the limb length and the limb circumference. The present invention further provides a device including two or more apparatuses of the present invention to measure the limb compliance and to be used in the treatment of lymphedema.
Method and system for massage apparatus-based user information transaction
Provided are a method and a system for a massage apparatus-based user information transaction. According to one embodiment of the disclosure, a method for a massage apparatus-based user information transaction includes the steps of: inquiring whether a user gives prior-consent to provision of user information to the outside; if the user gives prior consent to the provision of user information to the outside, collecting, from the massage apparatus, user information including the user's biometric information, and storing same; providing the stored user information to a third party company server; calculating an amount of money to be paid to the user in accordance with the provision of the user information to the outside; and paying the calculated amount of money to the relevant user's account.
APPARATUS FOR TREATING SYMPTOMS ASSOCIATED WITH NEUROPATHY
An apparatus for reducing symptoms associated with neuropathy such as pain or other sensation deficits and sensation dysfunction in the lower extremity of a patient includes a platform having a base and a top plate supported by the base and configured to allow a patient to place their feet thereon. A vibrational actuator is carried by the base and connected to the top plate and configured to vibrate the top plate when a patient stands thereon or while seated with their feet placed on top of the plate. A controller is connected to the vibrational actuator and configured to operate the vibrational actuator to impart a vibrating force to the top plate when a patient has their feet thereon and stimulate the Pacini corpuscles to impart a neurological feedback response that dilates blood vessels of the feet and legs.
Chair-type massage machine
A chair-type massage machine includes a main body on which a person to be treated is to be seated, a holding part at least part of which is placed inside a container recess to hold a first operation unit, and a moving mechanism for moving the holding part. The holding part is reciprocatably moved between a first position in which the first operation unit is contained in the container recess and a second position in which the first operation unit is exposed. The chair-type massage machine further includes a second operation unit for moving the holding part.
Wearable assisted-walking device
Provided is a wearable assisted-walking device including one lower attachment body to the foot defining a lower anchoring point at the heel of the foot of a leg of the user; an upper attachment body to an upper part of the leg proximal from the knee defining an upper ventral anchoring point and an upper dorsal anchoring point arranged on the opposite side of the coronal plane of the user; and an intermediate attachment body defining a first intermediate anchoring point, a second intermediate anchoring point and a third intermediate anchoring point, each anchoring point movable respect and connected by cables to the leg; the intermediate attachment body being adapted to store the energy by a relative motion between the anchoring points and then use it for assist walking.
Lower limb powered orthosis with low ratio actuation
The present disclosure is relates to an orthosis device. The orthosis device, in one embodiment, includes an actuator housing, and an electric motor coupled to the actuator housing, the electric motor including a motor stator and a motor rotor, and the electric motor further having high output torque. The orthosis device, in this embodiment, further includes a low-ratio transmission coupled to the actuator housing, the transmission including a gear system coupled to the actuator housing, and a drive system coupling the electric motor and the gear system, wherein a combination of the electric motor and transmission provide a user backdrivable orthosis device.
Multiple actuator vibration therapy
A method includes disposing a plurality of actuators about a subject, each actuator being configured to generate a respective vibration signal, each vibration signal applying a normal force to the subject, and controlling the plurality of actuators such that the respective vibration signal of each actuator of the plurality has a respective vibration characteristic. Each actuator is oriented such that the respective vibration signal propagates along a longitudinal axis of the subject for stimulation of the subject remote from the plurality of actuators.
