A leak inhibition/detection device includes an absorbent material, a leak sensor in contact with the absorbent material, and an enclosure surrounding the absorbent material. The leak inhibition/detection device is configured to surround a joint between tubing and a cold plate/evaporator or a radiator/condenser of a liquid cooling module of an information handling system.

A liquid cooling device includes a liquid cooling conductor, a detecting probe, and a determining circuit. The liquid cooling conductor includes a chamber defined therein for communicating with the outside, the chamber is configured to accommodate the coolant, and the surface of the liquid cooling conductor is provided with at least one communicating port communicating with the chamber; wherein the liquid cooling conductor is formed joining at least two combination blocks, and at least one of the two combination blocks is a metal conductor. The detecting probe is disposed on the liquid cooling conductor and normally electrically disconnected from the metal conductor. The determining circuit is electrically connected to the metal conductor and the detecting probe, and generates a liquid leakage alarm signal when the metal conductor and the detecting probe are electrically connected.

A pipeline leak detection and location range determination system includes a set of monitoring devices installed at ends of segments of a pipeline, and server computer system communicating with the set of monitoring devices over the Internet. The server computer system is also adapted to communicate with client computer systems over the Internet. Each monitoring device within the set includes a set of sensors for reading time-varying signals, including pressure, of the pipeline, and communicates the time-varying signals and corresponding timestamps to the server computer system. The server computer system analyzes such data using regression to derive a range of possible locations of a leak in the pipeline. A probability distribution corresponding to subranges within the range is also determined. The server computer system communicates the range and probability distribution to client computer systems for being presented to pipeline maintenance professionals.

In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include: a component; a cold plate disposed above the component; a leak sensor board disposed above the cold plate; and a drip tray disposed above the leak sensor, wherein the drip tray is configured to capture a fluid leak from a fitting coupled to the cold plate.

The disclosed technology includes a valve assembly having a valve, an actuating system, and a trigger. The trigger can be in mechanical communication with the actuating system and the actuating system can be in mechanical communication with the valve. The trigger can be positioned such that the trigger can interact with liquid resulting from a leak in a plumbing system, and upon interaction with liquid, the trigger can release the actuating system such that the actuating system can cause the valve to transition from an open position to a closed position. In the closed position, the valve can restrict the passage of liquid through the plumbing system such that the leak can be mitigated or stopped.
