IoT alarm for failures in fluid systems
An alerting 24/7 safety device for industrial soft-seated fluid valves, capable to detect immediately and remotely any damage or breakage of internal valve components. Such a system allows the essential technical intervention time to avoid leakages of the harmful (poison or caustic, with dangerous pressures or temperatures) media within the plants.
The inventive step gap is related to the strong improvement of the safety characteristics of the workplaces, in terms of health of the people, environment aspects and attention for the business continuity.
FIXING STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND WATER LEAKAGE DETECTOR
A sensor terminal includes: a vibration sensor; an L-shaped attachment main body portion on which the vibration sensor is mounted and that is detachably attached to a truncated quadrangular pyramid structure portion of a valve cap attached to an opening/closing shaft portion of a water regulating valve provided in a water service pipe; side surface magnets that are provided in the attachment main body portion; and an upper surface magnet that is attached to a lower surface of a base on which the vibration sensor is mounted. Further, the truncated quadrangular pyramid structure portion includes a quadrangular upper surface and four side surfaces, and the attachment main body portion of the sensor terminal is fixed using magnet to each of the upper surface of the truncated quadrangular pyramid structure portion and at least one side surface among the four side surfaces.
Leak detector
A leak detector assembly for use with a backflow prevention device includes a housing defining a passageway for receiving a fluid. A flap assembly couples to the housing for generating a low flow error signal indicating minimal fluid passing through the passageway and a fully actuated error signal indicating significant fluid passing through the passageway. The flap assembly includes a flap mounted in the passageway such that significant flow of the fluid moves the flap to generate the fully actuated error signal. The flap assembly also includes a sensing element on the flap to determine a presence of the fluid without movement of the flap to generate the low flow error signal based on a low flow of the fluid.
Controlling a vacuum system comprising a vacuum generator arrangement
The invention relates to energy saving in vacuum systems by means of a method and a controller enabling to consider the fluctuation in system-pressure of a system by determining a maximum system-pressure S2H and a minimum system-pressure S2h for each working cycle W.sub.C based on a determined target system-pressure p.sub.n.sup. and a pre-set system-pressure p.sub.0.sup. for the current working cycle W.sub.Cn (n=1, 2, 3, . . . ). The method is especially adapted to fluctuations in system-pressure level of a vacuum system comprising a vacuum gripper tool.
LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A leak detection system including a sensor having a first state having a first condition when dry and a second condition when wet, and a second state adapted to monitor the operability of the sensor; a communication device operatively connected to the sensor; and an attachment element adapted to attach the leak detection system to a fluid component for monitoring fluid leakage.
PERFORMING A DIAGNOSTIC ON A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM WHILE THE VEHICLE IS OPERATING
A system and method for performing a diagnostic on a hydraulic system in a vehicle while the vehicle is at a standstill. The method includes, by means of an electronic processor, moving a plunger at a constant rate, determining a position of the plunger, receiving a pressure of the hydraulic system from a pressure sensor, comparing the determined position and the measured pressure to a position versus pressure graph, and sending a diagnostic to a diagnostic indicator.
Assembly for start-up testing fluid flow control devices at various pressures and temperatures
An assembly is provided for performing start-up testing on a fluid flow control device. The assembly includes a retainer adapted to be disposed in a valve body of the fluid flow control device, and a sealing assembly coupled to a portion of the retainer and adapted to be disposed adjacent a valve seat of the fluid flow control device. The sealing assembly includes one or more sealing elements configured to provide a seal during start-up testing at a service temperature of between approximately 325 degrees Fahrenheit and approximately 1250 degrees Fahrenheit.
SYSTEM HAVING A WATER OR GAS LEAK DETECTION CIRCUIT AND AUTOMATIC VALVE CLOSURE MECHANISM CONTROLLED THEREBY
A system for detecting a gas, oil or water leak and closing a fluid valve in response thereto includes a control unit in which an electronic circuit is mounted. A fluid leak sensor is electrically connected to the electronic circuit. A manipulator unit is operatively coupled to the fluid valve. The fluid leak sensor generates a fluid leak detection signal when a fluid leak is detected. The electronic circuit, in response to the fluid leak detection signal, generates a control signal and provides the control signal to the manipulator unit which, in response to the control signal, causes the fluid valve to close.
System and method for detecting fluid leak
A device for detecting and catching a leak from a fire sprinkler includes a leak sensor configured to detect the leak, and a leak catcher configured to catch the leak before the leak makes contact with surrounding areas. The device also includes an alarm module configured to issue a notification upon detection of the leak, and a mounting mechanism configured to removably mount the leak sensor, the leak catcher, and the alarm module to the fire sprinkler in a manner that does not obstruct operation of the fire sprinkler.
