SENSOR SYSTEM WITH A LEAKAGE DETECTOR
The present disclosure relates to a sensor system for monitoring the sealing of the connection between a sensor holder and a sensor that is mounted on the sensor holder. The sensor system includes a sensor holder, a sensor that is mounted on the sensor holder, and a leakage detector with a channel, which is arranged in the sensor holder and consists of one or more straight sections that are mounted perpendicular or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sensor.
LEAK DETECTION MODULE AND METHOD OF CHECKING THE SEAL OF AN OBJECT TO BE TESTED USING A TRACER GAS
A leak detection module for checking a seal of an object to be tested using a tracer gas is provided, including: a leak detector; a manipulatable probe; and a human-machine interface including a voice recognition device configured to recognize a voice command controlling the leak detection module. A method for checking the seal of an object to be tested using a tracer gas is also provided.
PIPELINE ELEMENT LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for detecting leaks comprises at least one pipeline element, a leak detection device, and a pre-formed, heat-shrinkable sleeve comprising at least one inlet aperture. A method of manufacturing the sleeve comprises the steps of applying a cross-linkable material around a standard-sized sleeve mold, cross-linking the material, removing the cross-linked material from the mold, heating and stretching the cross-linked material around a stretching sleeve mold, allowing the material to cool, and removing the cooled sleeve from the mold. A method of monitoring a leak comprises the steps of receiving the pipeline element in the sleeve and applying heat to the sleeve, whereby the sleeve shrinks and conforms substantially around the profile of the pipeline element and at least a portion of the leak detection device.
SEALING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A POSSIBLE GAS LEAK AT A FITTING CONNECTION FOR BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
The sealing arrangement includes a connecting device and one or more housing parts of a housing unit for enclosing of a component, typically an attachment component forming a head of the connecting device. The gas permeable end formed in such component can be isolated, so that the sealing arrangement is adapted for use in detecting a detectable gas in a hermetically sealed detection chamber. Thanks to a sealing structure configured at a passageway for the fastening of the connecting device, a housing unit is obtained with a tight radial contact around an intermediate portion of the connecting device. The device is fitted with a flexible hose end, preferably at a barbed nozzle forming the end at the opposite from the gas permeable end. With such arrangement, the hose mounting can be tested for its integrity.
Tracer gas airflow measurement system with high turndown ratio
A gas injector apparatus and method for use with a tracer gas airflow measurement system that allows for large, continuous tracer gas flow rates while avoiding operation at very cold temperatures that will damage equipment. The controlled and variable heating of high pressure tracer gas flow before a gas regulator allows all points in the system to remain above freezing, and within a safe temperature range. The system has a tracer gas source and a heater that heats the gas isobarically at high pressure (>100 psi) and the hot gas is expanded across a pressure regulator to a lower working pressure to 30 psi. The gas flow is modulated using a mass flow controller with a high turndown ratio and injected into a bulk fluid flow with an injector.
Refrigeration cycle apparatus, method of manufacturing the same, and method of installing the same
A method of manufacturing an air-conditioning apparatus serving as a refrigeration cycle apparatus includes: performing an operation test in a factory under a state in which inert gas (nitrogen) is sealed into respective devices mounted on an outdoor unit (such as a compressor and a four-way valve) and an outdoor pipe connecting the devices in place of refrigerant having flammability; and shipping the air-conditioning apparatus under the state in which the inert gas remains sealed.
LEAK DETECTION MODULE AND METHOD FOR CHECKING THE SEAL-TIGHTNESS OF AN OBJECT TO BE TESTED BY TRACER GAS
A leak detection module for checking the seal-tightness of an object to be tested by tracer gas is provided, including a leak detector and a probe configured to be manipulated by a user; and a vision device including a processing and display unit configured to communicate with the leak detector, a securing means configured to secure the vision device on a head of the user, and a viewing surface fixed to the securing means and configured to be placed in a field of view of the user, the processing and display unit being further configured to display, on the viewing surface, information relating to detection of leaks including at least one signal representative of a concentration of tracer gas measured by the leak detector. A method for checking the seal-tightness of an object to be tested by tracer gas is also provided.
Sniffer probe and leak detector
A sniffer probe for a leak detector for monitoring the leaktightness of an object to be tested by tracer gas includes an end piece created in the form of a rigid tube, a housing, a connection member connecting the end piece to the housing, and a sampling duct to sample a gas at a first end of the end piece. The connection member includes a main body that is elastically deformable such that it can adopt a deformed position, making it possible for the end piece to pivot when acted upon by a force and to return to the initial rest position.
