Disposable cassette conditioning system and method
A medical fluid delivery system comprises: (i) a medical fluid delivery machine including a pneumatic manifold having pump and valve actuation areas and a pumping gasket overlaying the pump and valve actuation areas, sources of positive and negative pneumatic pressure, plural pneumatic valves located between the pneumatic sources and the pump and valve actuation areas, and a control unit in operable communication with the plural pneumatic valves; and (ii) a disposable cassette including a fluid pump chamber that aligns with the pump actuation area when the disposable cassette is mated with the pneumatic manifold, the disposable cassette including sheeting overlaying the fluid pump chamber, wherein the control unit is configured to operate the pneumatic valves to perform a conditioning routine that moves the pumping gasket and the cassette sheeting while mated in an attempt to remove small air pockets from between the pumping gasket and the cassette sheeting.
Abradable seal
An abradable seal includes an outer ring arrangement and an energiser for urging said outer ring arrangement against an opposing surface, wherein an outermost surface of said outer ring arrangement defines a sealing surface of said abradable seal; wherein said outer ring arrangement is configured such that after a first period of operation said sealing surface suddenly transitions from having a relatively large surface area to having a relatively small surface area, so as to cause a sudden increase in internal leakage across the seal at said transition.
Filling implantable medical devices for leak checking
A method for introducing an analyte gas into a cavity of an implantable medical device includes analyzing gas that exits the cavity through an outlet in communication with the cavity and introducing an analyte gas into the cavity via an inlet in communication with the cavity until the composition of the gas exiting the cavity comprises a predetermined percent or amount of the analyte gas. The inlet and outlet may be sealed, and the device may be leak tested.
HYDRAULIC PUMPING SYSTEM WITH ENHANCED PISTON ROD SEALING
A system can include an actuator with a piston rod that displaces in response to pressure in the actuator, a seal assembly that seals about the piston rod and includes seal cartridges, each including a dynamic seal sealingly engaging the rod, and each including a static seal sealingly engaging a seal assembly housing, and a port providing communication between a housing exterior and a housing interior between adjacent static seals. A method can include preventing leakage from a well with a seal assembly about a piston rod of a hydraulic actuator, the seal assembly including seal cartridges, each including a dynamic seal that sealingly engages the rod, and each including a static seal that sealingly engages a seal assembly housing, enabling communication through a housing sidewall to a housing interior between adjacent static seals, and reciprocably displacing the rod in response to pressure variations in the actuator.
TEST DEVICE FOR HYPERBARIC TESTING OF A PART OF A SUBSEA DEVICE AND METHOD
A test device for hyperbaric testing of a part of a subsea device is provided. The test device includes a test pot configured to provide a test chamber around of a part of the subsea device that is to be tested. A mount of the test device is configured to attach the test pot to the subsea device such that the test pot is affixed to the subsea device and can be pressurized without becoming detached from the subsea device during testing. The test device further includes at least one seal for sealing the test device to the subsea device such that the test chamber is sealed from the surrounding environment. A pressure port is further provided for pressurizing a medium in the test chamber to a test pressure that is relatively higher than an ambient pressure in the surrounding environment.

The rolling element bearing is provided with at least a bearing seal, wherein the acoustic emission unit is arranged on the bearing seal. Gas density relay with sealing performance self-checking function, and implementation method therefor
The present application provides a gas density relay with sealing performance self-checking function and an implementation method therefor. The gas density relay includes a gas density relay body, a sealing performance detector and an intelligent control unit; the sealing performance detector is communicated with a gas path of the gas density relay body or a sealed cavity in the gas density relay body to obtain gas leakage information of the gas density relay body; the intelligent control unit is connected with the sealing performance detector, receives and/or calculates the data and/or information monitored by the sealing performance detector, and performs diagnosis to obtain the current sealing performance of the gas density relay body; or, the intelligent control unit uploads the received data and/or information to a background, and the background performs diagnosis to obtain the current sealing performance of the gas density relay body. The gas density relay is used to monitor the gas density of gas insulated or arc extinguishing electrical equipment, and the gas leakage performance of the gas density relay can also be monitored on line, which reduces operation and maintenance costs and ensures safe operation of a power grid.
Pressure seal with built in testing system
A connector is described, including a housing including an internal volume, a port in the housing for receiving a conduit and providing access to the internal volume, a sealing arrangement for sealing the internal volume in the housing and a seal integrity test system including a sensor coupled to the housing. The seal integrity test system is configured to provide a measurement based on the pressure inside the internal volume of the housing to establish the integrity of the sealing arrangement.
