System and method for controlling a ground speed of an agricultural sprayer
A system for controlling a ground speed of an agricultural sprayer includes a speed setting device for commanding a selected ground speed of the sprayer when operating within a speed-range mode associated with a ground speed range. The speed setting device is movable across a plurality of positions, with each position being associated with a different ground speed within the ground speed range. A maximum range speed of the ground speed range is lower than a maximum ground speed of the sprayer. As such, the system includes a speed override input device for commanding that the ground speed of the sprayer be increased to the maximum ground speed. When an override input is received from the speed override input device, the computing system controls the operation of a sprayer drive system to increase the ground speed of the sprayer from the selected ground speed to the maximum ground speed.
Method for detecting fuel system degradation
Methods and systems are provided for detecting leaks in an engine fuel system coupled in a vehicle including a first fuel tank and a second fuel tank, and a canister coupled together via a three-way valve. A leak test may be initially performed on the first fuel tank by supplying vacuum to the first fuel tank. The second fuel tank may be tested for leaks immediately following the leak test on the first fuel tank by recycling vacuum from the first fuel tank.
METHOD FOR TESTING A CONTAINER FOR TIGHTNESS
A method for testing a container (11) having an interior volume (12) for tightness, comprising the following steps: providing the container (11) in a pressure chamber (10) and reducing pressure within the pressure chamber (10) or increasing pressure within the container (11) as far as a predefined test pressure, ascertaining a pressure profile (100) within the pressure chamber (10) over time, comparing the pressure profile (100) to a reference profile (200) in order to determine whether a leak is present within the container (11), wherein ambient conditions of the container (11) and/or the pressure chamber (10) are monitored and the reference profile (200) is adapted to changing ambient conditions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF FLUID DETECTION FOR A PLURALITY OF TANKS
A system and method for continuous measurement of multiple fluids in multiple tanks and computation of physical properties for each of the multiple fluids continuously, which uses a plurality of probes, at least one client device, a master control processor, and a master control data storage. The system and method can use computer instructions for receiving data from the plurality of probes, receiving data from other detection devices associated with the fluid in each tank, mapping received data to a relational database, and comparing mapped data to stored values associated with prioritized alarm functions. The system and method can also use computer instructions for generating alarms to both a display connected with the master control processor and to at least one client device using a network, generating reports associated with each generated alarm, generating an alarm log, and generating a history of actions taken by a user.
System and method for purging agricultural sprayer nozzles using air pressure data
An agricultural sprayer includes a purge tank, a nozzle configured to dispense an agricultural fluid onto an underlying field, and a downstream valve configured to selectively permit the air from the main fluid conduit to flow to the nozzle. A computing system is configured to initiate a purging operation to purge the agricultural fluid present within the nozzle and, upon receipt of the input, control an operation of a main valve such that the main valve is moved to an opened position to allow the air to flow through a main fluid conduit. In addition, the computing system is configured to monitor a first air pressure associated with the purge tank and a second air pressure associated with the nozzle. Furthermore, the computing system is configured to control an operation of the downstream valve during the purging operation based on the monitored first and second air pressures.
Systems and methods for diagnosing an engine
In one aspect, a method for detecting and diagnosing a coolant leak of an engine may include diagnosing a coolant leak of the engine based on a low frequency pressure response of a measured engine coolant pressure. In another aspect, an engine system (e.g., for a vehicle) includes an engine and a coolant system operatively connected to the engine. The coolant system includes a coolant reserve and a coolant pump between the engine and the coolant reserve. The engine system also includes a coolant pressure sensor to measure coolant pressure, and a controller configured to measure an engine coolant pressure and diagnose a coolant leak of the coolant system based on a low frequency pressure response of the measured engine coolant pressure.
Method for detecting and preventing leaks
A method for detecting and preventing leaks of a double-walled container for the storage of poisonous, caustic, irritant and/or combustible media utilizes a double-walled container with an inner wall and an outer wall. A cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall, a positive pressure is generated in the cavity, and in the event of a leak of the inner wall, a gas is fed to the cavity in order to maintain a positive pressure in the cavity. A container system includes an open-loop/closed-loop control device for the open-loop/closed-loop control of a gas throughflow in a line. The system includes a pressure measuring unit for measuring the pressure in the cavity of the double-walled container.
Rotorcraft actuator seal leakage monitor
A rotorcraft actuator monitoring system to monitor leakage past dynamic rotorcraft actuator seals of a rotorcraft actuator includes a body member and a fluid level indication housing attached to the body member. The body member is mounted to surround a dynamic rotorcraft actuator seal that seals fluid in a rotorcraft actuator, where the body member captures fluid that leaks past the dynamic rotorcraft actuator seal. The fluid level indication housing collects the fluid captured by the body member and indicates that a predetermined volume of fluid that leaked past the dynamic rotorcraft actuator seal has been collected.
CONTAINER FILL LEVEL INDICATION SYSTEM USING A MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHM
A liquid container refill management system including a machine learning algorithm and method of training the same, the system and method making use of noninvasive tank-in-tank measuring techniques. The system can comprise of a container fill level indicator. The container fill level indicator can be capable of detecting a vibration response signal on the outer surface of a container, wherein the system is capable of transmitting the response signal to a remote data processor for processing using a trained machine learning algorithm. The trained machine learning algorithm can be trained by the process of selecting model inputs and outputs to define an internal structure of the machine learning algorithm, applying a collection of input and output data samples to train the machine learning algorithm, and verifying the accuracy of the machine learning algorithm by applying input data samples and comparing received output values with expected output values.
