Anomaly detection device for fluid controller, anomaly detection system, anamoly detection method, and fluid controller

A fluid controller is provided having a flow path through which a fluid can flow, a closed space separated from the flow path by an isolation member, and a leak port capable of communicating the closed space with an external part. An anomaly detection device for detecting an anomaly has a pressure sensor detachably fixed to the leak port, a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure in the closed space, a processing module for executing a predetermined information processing, and an detachable mechanism for blocking the leak port from the external part in the state of being fixed. The processing module determines an anomaly of the fluid controller by comparing a detection value detected by the pressure sensor to a predetermined threshold, and transmits a discrimination result of the anomaly of the fluid controller to a server.

A method for facilitating communications between client devices in geographically separated networks is described. First, message monitoring is conducted by each of a plurality of virtual appliances within a local network to detect a message of a first message type. Responsive to failing to locate a Media Access Control (MAC) address of a destination for the message within a prescribed table by a default gateway, one of the plurality of virtual appliances is selected for handling a forwarding of the message to a plurality of remote networks, and the message via the selected virtual appliance is forwarded to a plurality of gateways associated with a plurality of remote networks. Responsive to locating the MAC address of the destination within the table, the virtual appliance previously handling communications with the destination to forward the message to the destination.

Fiber Bragg grating-based pressure sensor for a pressure bottle

A sensor to sense pressure in a pressure bottle and a method of assembling the sensor involve two or more fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) affixed to a different radial location of a diaphragm seal of the pressure bottle. The sensor includes a light source to provide incident light to the two or more FBGs, and a photodetector to detect reflected light resulting from the two or more FBGs. Processing circuitry determines a pressure change in the pressure bottle based on the reflected light resulting from each of the two or more FBGs.

Method for the indirect evaluation of pre-charge air pressure in a diaphragm-type or bladder-type expansion tank
11774314 · 2023-10-03 ·

Setting and maintaining proper pre-charge air pressure in a diaphragm or bladder-type expansion tank of any fluid system is essential for safe and efficient operation of that system. In usual practice, pre-charge air pressure checks are done by emptying the system of fluid and connecting an analog air gauge to the air input of the expansion tank. In this invention a pressure sensor that is permanently coupled to the fluid volume of the expansion tank is used to also evaluate the pre-charge air pressure in the tank. By employing a single sensor for both fluid and pre-charge air pressure evaluation, the problem of inconsistent calibration between fluid sensing and air pre-charge measuring devices is eliminated. Using the same permanently installed sensor for every test or adjustment in a given system eliminates the problem of variations in calibration between different sensors or gauges used at different testing times.
