An endoscope includes a first subassembly, a second subassembly, a third subassembly, and a fourth subassembly, which are sequentially assembled and tested in making the endoscope. The first subassembly includes a pressure-sealed electrical cable connected to an image capture unit. The second subassembly includes the first subassembly, a shell, a light pipe, and a lid. The third subassembly includes the second subassembly, a central tube, and a flange. The fourth subassembly includes the third subassembly, a base, a shaft, and optionally an articulating assembly.
Method and Apparatus for Hermeticity Test
An apparatus includes an enclosure designed to house electronics and a ventilation plug fastened to an exterior of the enclosure, the ventilation plug being adapted for field testing hermeticity.
METHOD FOR DETECTING AND PREVENTING LEAKS
A method for detecting and preventing leaks of a double-walled container for the storage of poisonous, caustic, irritant and/or combustible media utilizes a double-walled container with an inner wall and an outer wall. A cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall, a positive pressure is generated in the cavity, and in the event of a leak of the inner wall, a gas is fed to the cavity in order to maintain a positive pressure in the cavity. A container system includes an open-loop/closed-loop control device for the open-loop/closed-loop control of a gas throughflow in a line. The system includes a pressure measuring unit for measuring the pressure in the cavity of the double-walled container.

PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR WET BARREL HYDRANT
A pressure monitoring system for a wet barrel hydrant includes an outer housing defining a sidewall shell and a cap coupled to the sidewall shell; a sensor housing defining a connector, a housing cavity, and an opening formed through the sensor housing and allowing access to the housing cavity, the connector configured to couple the pressure monitoring system to a wet barrel hydrant; and a base assembly coupled to the sidewall shell and defining a central support and a cylindrical wall, the cylindrical wall extending from the central support towards the cap, the sensor housing coupled to the central support opposite the cylindrical wall.
Endoscope including a plurality of individually testable subassemblies
An endoscope includes a first subassembly, a second subassembly, a third subassembly, and a fourth subassembly, which are sequentially assembled and tested in making the endoscope. The first subassembly includes a pressure-sealed electrical cable connected to an image capture unit. The second subassembly includes the first subassembly, a shell, a light pipe, and a lid. The third subassembly includes the second subassembly, a central tube, and a flange. The fourth subassembly includes the third subassembly, a base, a shaft, and optionally an articulating assembly.
Well tool pressure testing
A method of pressure testing a well tool can include applying positive or negative pressure to an internal chamber of the well tool, or determining a reference pressure, and monitoring the pressure in the internal chamber using a pressure sensor in the internal chamber. Another method can include applying pressure to an internal chamber of a well tool at a surface location, thereby creating a pressure differential in one direction across a seal, and installing the well tool in a well, thereby creating another pressure differential in a possibly opposite direction across the seal. A well system can include a well tool including an internal chamber, and a pressure sensor disposed in the chamber, whereby the pressure sensor detects pressure within the chamber.
Abrasion resistant film for biocontainers
A multilayered film for biocontainers, an abrasion-resistant substrate attached to the interior or the exterior side of the film wherein the substrate is one of a polymeric woven fibrous material or a polymeric non-woven fibrous material, a woven fibrous material or a non-woven fibrous material having metal fibers, a woven fibrous material or a non-woven fibrous material having glass fibers, or a woven fibrous material or a non-woven fibrous material having carbon fibers; a polymer backing to attach the substrate to the film, including one of polyolefins, polyurethanes and nylons; an outer protective layer disposed on the outside of the substrate to encapsulate the substrate; and a gas impermeable layer that includes ethylene vinyl alcohol disposed intermediate to the substrate and the outer protective layer.
FLUID LEAKAGE DETECTION SYSTEM AND FLUID PRESSURE SYSTEM
A fluid leakage detection system has a detection space to which working oil leaked out through a rod seal is guided; the rod seal being configured to seal an annular gap between a piston rod and a cylinder head; a sensor unit configured to detect pressure in the detection space; and a controller configured to acquire detected result from the sensor unit, wherein the controller has: a calculation unit configured to calculate a pressure parameter representing a pressure fluctuation in the detection space; a determination unit configured to determine occurrence of leakage of the working oil based on the pressure parameter; and the pressure parameter includes an upper limit value and a lower limit value of the pressure fluctuation obtained from the detected result detected by the sensor unit within a predetermined detection period.
APPARATUS FOR DETECTING A GAS IN A HEADSPACE OF A CONTAINER
A transmitter-receiver arrangement for measuring concentration of gas and/or for measuring pressure in a container headspace, wherein the transmitter-receiver arrangement defines a measuring zone accommodating the headspace, and the transmitter-receiver arrangement includes a transmitter to emit electromagnetic radiation covering a wavelength range including an absorption line of gas, a receiver of electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength range, the receiver and transmitter positioned respective to each other defining a path for the electromagnetic radiation from the transmitter to the receiver, a fixating element for fixating the transmitter-receiver arrangement to the apparatus or filling machine, an electrically controllable actuator arrangement causing at least one common shift of the transmitter and receiver, a shift of the transmitter relative to the receiver, a change in spatial orientation of the transmitter and receiver relative to the fixating element, and a change in spatial orientation of the transmitter relative to a spatial orientation of the receiver.
