Inspecting and/or testing of inline conveyed devices is performed in that a monitoring unit is applied to a device. The monitoring unit is removed in a removing area. Within the timespan the monitoring unit is applied to the device, the monitoring unit is operated in a standalone operating mode. During a timespan information about the device to which the monitoring unit is applied is collected in the monitoring unit. This timespan of collecting includes at least a part of the timespan during which the monitoring unit is operated in standalone mode.

Pressure test containment vessel

A portable containment vessel to perform a pressure test to a test specimen includes a base skid, a ballistic outer enclosure connected to the base skid and comprising a plurality of walls, a door, and a lock to maintain the door in a closed position, a sample tray configured to support the test specimen, wherein the sample tray is operable through a doorway of the ballistic outer enclosure between a retracted position and an extended position, a containment fluid to surround the test specimen while a pressurized test fluid is applied to the test specimen, and a sensor to indicate a failure of the pressure test.

System and method for dynamic signal processing for vacuum decay leak detection

A leak detection apparatus includes a test chamber and a vacuum source connected to the test chamber via a pneumatic line. A first pressure transducer is in communication with the test chamber. A controller is configured to collect and analyze data generated by the first pressure transducer at a predetermined frequency throughout an entire test cycle. The controller is also configured to convert specified collected data to logarithmic scale to accumulate a first set of data and apply a linear regression to the first set of data and determine regression parameters.

Test method and apparatus for bioreactor containers having reception sheet clamped between bioreactor container and bioreactor container compartment

A method for testing the integrity of a bioreactor container includes providing a bioreactor container having a fluid-tight, at least locally flexible wall and having at least one container opening and providing a test apparatus having a bioreactor container compartment and a fluid-permeable and/or structured reception sheet arranged replaceably on the bioreactor container compartment. The method continues by arranging the bioreactor container in the bioreactor container compartment so that the bioreactor container wall contacts the reception sheet in the bioreactor container compartment, connecting the container opening of the bioreactor container to a fluid source filling the bioreactor container with a fluid from the fluid source to generate a predetermined positive pressure P.sub.1 in the bioreactor container at a first time T.sub.1 and determining whether the bioreactor container is sufficiently leaktight.

Apparatus for analyzing battery case

A battery case analyzing apparatus includes a sealing portion which covers an injection hole formed on an upper side of a battery case. The sealing portion includes a lower side contacting the upper side of the battery case, a gas injection passage, and a vacuum forming passage formed in the sealing portion. The apparatus includes a gas injection line which is connected to an inlet of the gas injection passage formed on an upper side of the sealing portion, a vacuum forming line which is connected to an outlet of the vacuum forming passage formed on the upper side of the sealing portion, a gas supply portion configured to inject gas into the battery case through the gas injection line, and a vacuum pump which is connected to the vacuum forming line to form a vacuum in a vacuum forming groove formed on the lower side of the sealing portion.

A system and method for detecting leaks in an enclosure having a port and intended to prevent liquid material from exchanging into or out of the enclosure. A vacuum pump is coupled to the port and the enclosure is subjected to an applied vacuum pressure. Measurements of the mass and pressure within the enclosure while subject to the applied vacuum pressure are compared to expected values to detect a leak. In some embodiments, the physical arrangement of a valve of the enclosure is measured and compared to expected values to detect a leak.
