Acoustic shock wave therapeutic methods to prevent or treat opioid addiction
The method of treating a patient addicted to pain medication or opioids has the step administering acoustic shock waves or pressure pulses to the patient. A second embodiment includes a treatment to reduce a patient's pain caused by a medical condition and/or medical procedure to reduce or eliminate the taking of addictive pain medication. The treatment has the step of administering acoustic shock waves or pressure pulses directed to an area near a source of the pain or to one or more reflexology zones or to one or more reflexology zones and to an area near the source of the pain or both to treat the medical condition or prior to the medical procedure or during the medical procedure or after the medical procedure or any combination thereof.
Adjustable stretch support apparatus
An apparatus for stretching a human body comprising a floor frame having a central axis. A first beam is coupled substantially perpendicular to the floor frame. The first beam has a foot pedal, a knee support, and a waist support. A second beam coupled substantially perpendicular to the floor frame, the second beam having a plurality of lower arm handles. A third beam is coupled substantially perpendicular to the floor frame. A fourth beam is adjacently coupled to the third beam. The third beam has a plurality of upper arm handles.
Vibrating ball assembly with reduced vibration section
A vibrating ball assembly that includes an inner shell that defines an inner shell interior and includes an outer surface, a motor positioned in the inner shell interior, an eccentric weight that is configured to be rotated by the motor, and an outer cover at least partially covering the outer surface of the inner shell. The inner shell includes an upper hemisphere and a lower hemisphere. The outer shell includes a reduced vibration section positioned in the lower hemisphere.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF ALTERING A CLIMAX OR ORGASM
A neuromodulation device, system, and method comprising a patch having an energy generator that is removably positionable proximate to a sexual organ of a patient or user in order to alter the user's sexual climax or orgasm. The device stimulates nerve proximate to the sexual organ to either intensify or delay a timing of a sexual climax or orgasm.
ACOUSTIC SHOCK WAVE THERAPEUTIC METHODS TO PREVENT OR TREAT OPIOID ADDICTION

APPARATUS FOR MINIMALLY-INVASIVE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF HYDROCEPHALUS AND METHOD FOR USE OF SAME
An apparatus for minimally-invasive, including non-invasive, prevention and/or treatment of hydrocephalus and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the apparatus, a housing is sized for superjacent contact with a skull having a fontanel. Within the housing, a compartment includes a pressure applicator, such as a fluid-filled bladder, under the control of a pressure regulator. The pressure applicator is configured to selectively apply an external pressure to the fontanel. The compartment includes a pressure sensor configured to measure intracranial pulse pressure of the fontanel. Further, in one embodiment, the apparatus can cause pulse pressure modulation by adjusting the intracranial pulse pressure via the pressure applicator. This enables a non-invasive measurement of the pulse pressure and modulation thereof in infants, for example.
ACOUSTIC SHOCK WAVE THERAPEUTIC METHODS
A method of modulating glandular secretions by administering acoustic shock waves to a gland, includes the steps of activating acoustic shock waves of an acoustic shock wave generator to emit acoustic shock waves and subjecting the gland to acoustic shock waves stimulating the gland to have a modulated response. The modulated response is one of an adjustment in hormonal release which increases low level output, decreases high level output or stabilizes erratic output. The emitted acoustic shock waves are focused or unfocused low energy acoustic shock waves. The gland underlies the patient's skin. The shock wave generator is acoustically coupled to the patient's skin using a coupling gel or liquid. The gland is one of a testicle, ovary, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, thyroid gland, thymus, pineal gland, parathyroid, or hypothalamus. The method can be repeated one or more times.
AIR CUSHION ARRANGEMENT FOR A SEAT, FOR EXAMPLE A VEHICLE SEAT
Air cushion assembly for a seat, such as a vehicle seat, comprising at least an air cushion and an air supply system for variably pressurizing the air cushions of the air cushion assembly with air. A respective supply line comprising a shut-off valve leads from the air supply system to each air cushion, where a pulsation module is provided and configured to act upon each air cushion with a pulsation. The pulsation module comprises a pneumatic element which is connected in a pressure-equalized manner to at least one supply line, and an actuating element for transmitting a mechanical motion to the pneumatic element for changing the volume of the pneumatic element in order to generate a pulsation.
DRY MASSAGE DEVICE
A dry massage device includes a main chamber having an inlet configured to enable fluid to enter the main chamber, and an outlet configured to enable fluid to exit the main chamber. The main chamber has a surface for contacting the patient. The device is configured such that the direction of the fluid entering the main chamber, relative to the surface for contacting the patient, is changeable by the user whilst the surface for contacting the patient remains substantially stationary relative to the patient.
