INTEGRATED DEVICE FOR THE NON-INVASIVE PERSONALISED TREATMENT OF SKIN BLEMISHES AND ASSOCIATED MULTI-STEP METHOD
Integrated device for the non-invasive personalised treatment of skin blemishes includes: a handpiece for performing a percussive treatment on the body/face, causing a microtrauma on the wrinkle furrow, facilitating the natural recovery and the reduction of the wrinkle depth; a handpiece for carrying out an ablative micro-vibration treatment on the body, suitable to expand or compact the cutaneous tissue by alleviating wrinkles, stretch marks and scars with an exfoliating effect; a handpiece for performing a compressive micro-vibration treatment on the face, expanding the pores of the epidermis; a device for adjusting the rotation and vibration of the handpieces; an electric energy absorption sensor for each handpiece, communicating the detected data to a control unit which acts on the frequency adjustment devices obtaining a variation in the rotation and vibration frequency of the rotors, depending on the mechanical strength of the skin tissue; a communication interface.
MEDICAL TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A medical treatment system including a treatment chamber, a source of an aqueous mist containing a medication, a source of an oxygen-enriched gas, and a control system adapted to alternately surround a human body part with a mist containing a medication and the oxygen enriched gas, which can be used to treat various skin disorders including infected lesions, bacterial infections such as acne (i.e. Propionibacterium acnes), fungal infections such as Athlete's foot (i.e. fungal genus Trichophyton), conditions associated with hair loss including alopecia as well as ulcerations and frostbite resulting from poor circulation. A method of treating skin disorders is also disclosed, that includes providing a mist containing a medication and enriched oxygen gas to the site being treated as well as providing oxygen to the patient during treatment.
MECHANICAL CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION DEVICE HAVING A CONTACT MEMBER
A mechanical CPR device having one or more of a piston, a driving component configured to extend the piston toward a patient's torso and retract the piston away from the patient's torso, a controller configured to control the driving component to at least compress the patient's torso by extending the piston from a reference position to a depth and retracting the piston from the depth to the reference position, and a contact member such as one or more of a pressure pad and a suction cup attached to the end of the piston. The contact member can include a semi-adhesive material that has low adhesiveness when the controller controls the driving component to compress the patient's torso less than 60 times per minute and high adhesiveness when the controller controls the driving component to compress the patient's torso more than 60 times per minute.
Massage Head for Massage Gun and Massage Gun Containing the Same
A massage head for a massage gun and a massage gun containing the same, relates to the technical field of massage devices, and solves the technical problem of the single function of the massage gun. The massage head comprises a massage head cover, a massage member, a cooling and heating component and a conductive quick-connecting component; wherein the massage head cover and the massage member are provided oppositely, the massage head cover and the massage member encircle an accommodating cavity for accommodating the cooling and heating component, and the conductive quick-connecting component is provided at the end of the massage head cover away from the massage member and electrically connected to the cooling and heating component; the massage head is detachably electrically connected to the massage gun body through the conductive quick-connecting component; the massage gun comprises a massage gun body, a grip handle, a reciprocating driving mechanism, a main circuit board, and a massage head.
SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING A BODY PART OF A USER
Support device (1) for supporting at least one body part of a user at least in portions, optionally completely, comprising a support body (2), which comprises at least one support region (3) for supporting at least one body part of a user at least in portions, optionally completely, wherein at least the support region (3) has, at least in portions, optionally completely, a geometric-structural design that is individually configured on the basis of the data describing at least one body part of a user that is to be supported on the support region (3) at least in portions, optionally completely.
Hot Stone Placement Pad Systems and Methods
A hot stone placement pad includes a number of retaining pockets, each configured to hold a corresponding stone during a session, wherein substantially all of the retaining pockets face inward toward the central axis of the pad such that the pad may be grasped at opposite ends and lifted from the client's body while the stones remain in their respective pockets. The dimensions of the pad and the positions of the retaining pockets may be scaled to the client's body size.
Apparatus for minimally-invasive prevention and treatment of hydrocephalus and method for use of same
An apparatus (10) for minimally-invasive, including non-invasive, prevention and/or treatment of hydrocephalus and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the apparatus (10), a housing (50) is sized for superjacent contact with a skull having a fontanel. Within the housing (50), a compartment (12) includes a pressure applicator (88), such as a fluid-filled bladder (22), under the control of a pressure regulator (14). The pressure applicator (88) is configured to selectively apply an external pressure to the fontanel. The compartment (12) includes a pressure sensor (90) configured to measure intracranial pulse pressure of the fontanel. Further, in one embodiment, the apparatus (10) can cause pulse pressure modulation by adjusting the intracranial pulse pressure via the pressure applicator (88). This enables a non-invasive measurement of the pulse pressure and modulation thereof in infants, for example.
