Cylinder tip mounting head, and head device and movement device each using same
A cylinder tip mounting head includes: a shaft member; a first cylindrical rod having a cylindrical space, which is mounted to a lower end of the shaft member, which is configured to move in the up-down direction integrally with the shaft member; a stationary second cylindrical rod, which has a housing space for housing the first cylindrical rod so that the first cylindrical rod is movable in the up-down direction, the stationary second cylindrical rod including a syringe mounting portion; and a discharge rod housed in the cylindrical space in the first cylindrical rod, the discharge rod including a plunger mounting portion. The discharge rod is configured to coordinate with the movement of the shaft member in the up-down direction so that the plunger mounted to the discharge rod reciprocates in the tubular passage in the syringe to suck the object into the tubular passage and discharge the sucked object.
Sterile sample injector and method
A sterile injector comprises a body having a cavity, a hollow needle positionable at a distal end of the injector, a probe holder receivable within the needle, a probe connected to a distal end of the holder, and a driving element axially displaceable within the cavity, for causing relative motion between the probe and the needle upon displacement of the driving element. A sample is injected into a sealed container by displacing the driving element to a first position causing the probe to extend from the needle, applying the extended probe with a sample, displacing the driving element to a second position causing the sample laden probe to be retracted within the needle, piercing a seal of a sealed container with the needle, and displacing the driving element to a third position distally spaced from the first position, after which the probe is injected into the container interior.
LIQUID SAMPLING
The invention provides a liquid sampler for the automated sampling of liquids at dedicated pre-determined intervals. The liquid sampler includes a liquid inlet connectable to a liquid circuit containing a liquid to be sampled, a sampling reservoir for collecting a liquid sample, and a sampling pump connected to the liquid inlet, operable to extract a discrete amount of liquid from the liquid inlet and to discharge the discrete amount of liquid into the sampling reservoir.

Apparatus for taking a sample and for passing the sample to an analytical evaluation system
An apparatus for taking a sample from at least one fluid system and for passing the sample to an analytical evaluation system connects the piston rod of the sample-taking piston with a controllable drive. A flushing gas feed opens into a feed line downstream from a three-way valve, via a shut-off valve. The three-way valve, the controllable drive, and the shut-off valve are coupled with one another so that for taking a sample, the three-way valve releases the path of the sampling line to the sample-taking cylinder, the shut-off valve is open, and the controllable drive withdraws the sample-taking piston from the sample-taking cylinder, and, for applying the sample to the evaluation system, the shut-off valve is closed, the three-way valve is switched to release the path from the sample-taking piston to the feed line, and the controllable drive pushes the sample-taking piston completely back into the sample-taking cylinder.
Diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) test device for lake water and test method using same
A diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) test device for lake water, including: a floating ball and a plurality of water sampling units. A DGT detection device, a water quality detection device with a multi-parameter probe, and a water sampling device are disposed in each of the water sampling units. The water sampling device includes: a plurality of sampling bottles, each of the sampling bottles is provided with an inlet pipe and an exhaust pipe, each of the inlet pipes and exhaust pipes is provided with a one-way solenoid valve; a peristaltic pump, a water sample outlet of the peristaltic pump communicates with the inlet pipes of the plurality of sampling bottles via a multi-way connector; the exhaust pipes of the plurality of sampling bottles are connected to an exhaust manifold via a multi-way connector; a control device connected with the peristaltic pump and each of the one-way solenoid valves.
Method for liquid environment monitoring and liquid environment monitoring system
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to methods and systems for in-situ accumulation of one or more substances from a liquid environment. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method is disclosed including placing a cartridge with a sorbent in the liquid environment, driving a liquid volume through the sorbent, and repeating the act of driving as a function of time.
Fluid sampling
A fluid sampling device having a first conduit configured to couple an outlet of a fluid source to a sample inlet port; a second conduit configured to couple a sample outlet port to an inlet of the fluid source; an expansion chamber including an inlet and an outlet coupled to the first and second conduits by a valve assembly; and a pressure relief valve configured to couple the outlet of the expansion chamber to the inlet of the fluid source. The fluid sampling device facilitates acquisition of a fluid sample and subsequent purging of its internal components while inhibiting the release of sample fluid to the surrounding environment, thereby protecting the environment and sampling personnel from harmful chemical release. The fluid sampling device may facilitate a sample acquisition process that provides closed-loop flush and expansion operations for obtaining a representative sample at the appropriate fill density of the sample vessel.
VENTURI VACUUM DEVICE FOR BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE COLLECTIONS
Devices and methods for collecting trace amounts of samples are provided. A device can utilize a sterile syringe integrated with a venturi-type vacuum source for sample collection. The device can be used in a variety of applications for collecting specimens that are otherwise difficult to retrieve using conventional sample collecting techniques.
Variable volume sample capture device
Improvements in a variable volume capture device are disclosed to capture a variable amount of sample. The variable amount is controlled by a linear actuator that produces a variable and adjustable stroke length that capture the programmed amount of fluid in the syringe barrel. Air or other supernatant fluid can be separated and expelled at this point. The captured fluid is then dispensed out of the syringe barrel for further testing and analysis. The capture device is then able to drain or flush the sample. Valves located on each side of the syringe barrel allow for sample collecting, dispensing and draining to ensure that the capture device is free to collect new samples. The variable volume capture device can have changeable syringe and barrel diameters and lengths to accommodate larger or smaller ranges of samples.
