Fluid sampling system
A fluid sampling system for collecting a fluid sample, the sampling system comprising a detachable sampling device having a recipient, an entrance valve for controlling entry of a fluid into the recipient, an exit valve for controlling exit of the fluid from the recipient, and a data storage device for storing data related to the fluid sample.
Sample taking device
Sample taking device for extracting a fluid sample from a vessel comprising: a cover portion for closing the vessel such that, in use a headspace is defined between the cover portion and fluid held in the vessel, a sampling chamber comprising a sampling inlet and a sampling outlet, a cannula adapted to provide, in use, fluid communication between the fluid held in the vessel and the sampling chamber through the sampling inlet, and ports to operate the device in at least two operating conditions: a sample preparing condition in which a pressure in the headspace is greater than that of the sampling chamber such that fluid flows through the cannula towards the sampling chamber and can be retained therein, and a sample dispensing condition in which fluid retained in the sampling chamber can be delivered through the sampling outlet and fluid remaining inside the cannula can return to the vessel.
Formation Fluid Sampling Methods and Systems
Disclosed herein are methods and system for formation fluid sampling. In at least some embodiments, the method includes pumping formation fluid from a public flow line of a downhole tool via a private flow line into a detachable sample chamber. The method also includes isolating the private flow line from the public flow line. The method also includes collecting measurements of the formation fluid in the private flow line. The method also includes associating the measurements with the detachable sample chamber.
Sample port
A fats, oils, and grease waste materials water sampling apparatus includes a housing having an inlet, an outlet, a floor to accommodate a sampling jar below the inlet and an open top. The floor in the housing includes a recessed bottom, the recessed bottom extending between the inlet and the outlet to facilitate receipt of a sample jar for fats, oils, and grease waste materials sampling. Systems and methods for the invention are also described.
Liquid collection methods and apparatuses for detecting virus deactivation
A liquid collection device is provided. The device includes an input conduit, an output conduit, a plurality of product collection containers, and a valve block. The input and output conduits are connectable to a liquid processing line. The valve block has a valve block input in fluid communication with the input conduit, a valve block output in fluid communication with the output conduit, and a plurality of valves. The valves correspond in number to product collection containers and each valve places the input conduit in liquid communication with a different one of the product collection containers. An automated liquid collection workstation for use with the liquid collection device and a method of automatically collecting liquid from a processing line or vessel are also provided.
Container fixing holder of time-series sediment trapping device
Disclosed is a container fixing holder of a time-series sediment trapping device. With respect to the container fixing holder of the time-series sediment trapping device, the time-series sediment trapping device includes a funnel; a frame disposed to support and surround the funnel, a frame having at least one rod vertically disposed and a fixing plate coupled to the at least one rod forming the frame on a horizontal plane defined by a lower portion of the funnel, wherein a rotation plate, to which a plurality of time-series sediment trapping containers to trap the time-series sediment collected through the funnel are fixedly attached, is formed under the fixing plate. The container fixing holder includes a circular holder for fixing the plurality of time-series sediment trapping containers fixedly attached to the rotation plate without shaking.
Fluid Monitoring and Management Devices, Fluid Monitoring and Management Systems, and Fluid Monitoring and Management Methods
A fluid monitoring and management device that includes a housing with a fluid passageway. The fluid monitoring and management device further includes a fluid property sensor with a sensing element in the fluid passageway. A valve is in the fluid passageway of the fluid monitoring and management device. A removable bottle mount is aligned with the valve to be selectively in fluid communication with the fluid passageway.
Water quality measuring device
A water quality measuring device comprises a measurement cell (10), a sample water supply unit (80), a reagent supply unit (30), an agitating unit (17), a measuring unit (20) and a control unit (90). The sample water supply unit (80) includes an inlet channel (12) configured to supply the measurement cell (10) with sample water and an outlet channel (13) configured to discharge sample water from the measurement cell (10). The inlet channel (12) is connected to a flow channel (2) configured to supply sample water, and includes a filter (13) and an electromagnetic valve (15). The control unit (90) opens the electromagnetic valve (15) for supplying sample water to allow sample water, from which foreign substances are removed by the filter (13), to flow into the measurement cell (10).
Systems and methods of a sample bottle assembly
A method and apparatus according to which a sample bottle drill collar section is assembled. In an exemplary embodiment, the apparatus includes a drill collar that includes an outer surface; a pocket accessible through an aperture in the outer surface, the pocket defining a first side wall and a second side wall; a bottle assembly disposed within the pocket, the bottle assembly comprising a sample bottle having an axial length; one or more clamps coupled to the outer surface and abutting or overlapping the bottle assembly, the one or more clamps at least partially retaining the bottle assembly in the pocket; and one or more spacers disposed within the pocket, the one or more spacers abutting the bottle assembly and at least one of the first and second side walls of the pocket.
Composite Gas Sampling System
A sampling system for collecting periodic composite and/or non-composite samples of vaporized gas during a transfer process from a vaporizer of a cryogenic hydrocarbon liquid including 1) a direct sample pathway to a gas analyzer for instantaneous, real-time vaporized gas analysis, 2) a speed loop pathway for directly collecting fresh vaporized gas samples for subsequent analysis, and 3) a composite sample pathway including a pressurized sample accumulator for collecting a plurality periodically obtained samples of a select volume during the transfer process to create a composite sample of the vaporized gas.
