20230149244 · 2023-05-18 · ·

A wearable device, includes a motor, a motor driver circuit, a memory, a sensor, and a processor. The memory is configured to store resistance force generation setting information indicating a difference between a reference angle and each joint angle and a corresponding relationship between respective duty ratios. The processor is configured to obtain, using the sensor, a joint angle of a user and calculate a difference between the reference angle and the obtained joint angle. The processor is configured to obtain a duty ratio corresponding to the calculated difference according to the resistance force generation setting information. The processor is further configured to provide a control signal having the obtained duty ratio to the motor driver circuit to perform control such that a control state of the motor driver circuit is switched between a first control state and a second control state.

20230147864 · 2023-05-11 ·

A system and method for voice-based control of sexual stimulation devices. In some configurations, the system and method involve receiving voice data, analyzing the voice data to detect spoken commands, and generating control signals based on the commands. In some configurations, the system and method involve receiving voice data, analyzing the voice data for non-speech vocalizations, detecting voice stress patterns, and generating control signals based on the detected patterns. In some configurations, the analyses of the voice data are performed by machine learning algorithms which may be trained on associations between speech and non-speech vocalizations of a user while the user engages in one or more voice-based training tasks, associating speech and non-speech vocalizations with controls of the sexual stimulation device. In some configurations, machine learning algorithms are used to make the associations. In some configurations, data from other biometric sensors is included in the associations.

SOFT EXOSUIT FOR ASSISTANCE WITH HUMAN MOTION

Systems and methods for providing assistance with human motion, including hip and ankle motion, are disclosed. Sensor feedback is used to determine an appropriate profile for actuating a wearable robotic system to deliver desired joint motion assistance. Variations in user kinetics and kinematics, as well as construction, materials, and fit of the wearable robotic system, are considered in order to provide assistance tailored to the user and current activity.

A stimulation device comprising a main housing comprising a vibration generator, a battery, a wireless transceiver, and at least one control circuit operatively connected to the vibration generator, the battery, and the wireless transceiver, the main housing shaped for entering a body orifice; and a flexible antenna extending from the main housing at a bottom end thereof for remaining at least partially outside the body when the main housing is inside the body, the flexible antenna operatively connected to the wireless transceiver for receiving control signals for controlling operation of the vibration generator.

Device, system and method for facilitating breathing via simulation of limb movement

A device, system and method for increasing air intake by a subject is described. The device includes a vibration motor and a control unit for controlling vibrational motion output by the vibration motor. The methods include positioning the vibration motor on one or more limbs of a subject, and stimulating nerves in the limbs via the generated vibrational motion, whereby the stimulated nerve signals the brain to increase breathing rate or air intake by the subject. Accordingly, embodiments of the device activate nerve fibers that carry kinesthetic cues from the limbs in a pattern that simulates normal limb motion, and thus triggers inherent reflexes that increase ventilation in response to such motion.

Hybrid heater

A water heater includes a first heater, a second heater, and a controller. The controller can enable different operational modes of the water heater, wherein only the first heater operates, only the second heater operates, or both the first and the second heaters operate. The controller can also be configured to enable a hybrid operational mode and a bypass operational mode. Further, in the different operational modes, the controller can direct water flow to at least one of a first conduit coupled to the first heater, a second conduit coupled to the second heater, and a bypass conduit. The controller can be configured to receive input signals relating to environmental conditions around the water heater and/or an aquatic system in which the water heater is installed.

Monitoring vital parameters of a compression garment wearer

Monitoring vital parameters of a wearer of a compression garment by analyzing a pressure signal waveform indicative of a fluid pressure in an inflatable and deflatable bladder of the compression garment. Analyzing the pressure signal waveform for an oscillating amplitude as a function of time and/or a representation of a pulse of the wearer provides an indication of blood pressure of the wearer.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPOSING FUNCTION PROGRAMMING FOR ADULT TOY OPERATION IN SYNCHRONIZATION WITH VIDEO PLAYBACK
20170366858 · 2017-12-21 ·

A method for programming a tactile stimulation device includes displaying a video playback scrubber showing a video in conjunction with a timeline and providing navigation controls for playing, advancing, and regressing the display of the video. A control panel for selecting an operational mode of the tactile stimulation device is displayed concurrently with the video playback scrubber. Commands are received either via the displayed control panel or by keyboard, each of the commands selects the operational mode and an associated period of time. Each of the commands is graphically represented on the displayed timeline according to the selected periods of time. The commands are saved, along with the associated selected periods of time, either as an independent file or annotated within the video file.
