STEAM THERAPY EQUIPMENT FOR GOOD HEALTH AND WELLNESS
20170354809 · 2017-12-14 ·

A steam therapy equipment including a vessel for heating a mixture of water and organic materials, a compressor to inject pressurized air into the vessel producing pressurized steam. The pressurized steam is conducted into the equipment via one or more valves. The therapy equipment is formed from at least one panel and may include a supporting frame. The therapy equipment includes a temperature sensor to measure the temperature inside the therapy equipment when pressurized steam is admitted via the valves. A patient enters the equipment and is exposed to the pressurized steam, causing dilation of the skin pores of the patient, whereby toxins are removed from the patient. One or more applicators may conduct pressurized steam to specific portions of the body of the patient. The patient may be provided with a portion of the mixture to consume as part of the steam therapy treatment.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING DYNAMIC TREATMENT ENVIRONMENTS BASED ON PATIENT INFORMATION

A system that comprises a memory device storing instructions, and a processing device communicatively coupled to the memory device. The processing device executes the instructions to: receive user data obtained from records associated with a user; generate a modified treatment plan based on the user data; and send, to a treatment apparatus accessible to the user, the modified treatment plan, wherein the modified treatment plan causes the treatment apparatus to update at least one operational aspect of the treatment apparatus, and update at least one operational aspect of at least one other device communicatively coupled to the treatment apparatus.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING CARDIAC REHABILITATION AMONG ELIGIBLE USERS
20230197240 · 2023-06-22 · ·

A computer-implemented method for facilitating cardiac rehabilitation among eligible users is disclosed. The method includes the steps of (1) receiving health information associated with one or more users; (2) for each user of the one or more users: determining, based on health information associated with the user, a respective eligibility of the user for cardiac rehabilitation; (3) determining, based on the respective eligibilities, that at least one user of the one or more users is eligible for cardiac rehabilitation; (4) generating a treatment plan for the at least one user, where the treatment plan pertains to a cardiac rehabilitation that is specific to the at least one user; and (5) assigning the treatment plan to at least one electromechanical machine to enable the user to perform the cardiac rehabilitation.

Method and apparatus for enhancement of chest compressions during CPR

An apparatus for assisting a rescuer in performing chest compressions during CPR on a victim, the apparatus comprising a pad or other structure configured to be applied to the chest near or at the location at which the rescuer applies force to produce the chest compressions, at least one sensor connected to the pad, the sensor being configured to sense movement of the chest or force applied to the chest, processing circuitry for processing the output of the sensor to determine whether the rescuer is substantially releasing the chest following chest compressions, and at least one prompting element connected to the processing circuitry for providing the rescuer with information as to whether the chest is being substantially released following chest compressions.

Vision strengthening methods and systems

Active dichoptic perceptual-learning tasks or dichoptic game play have been shown to significantly improve visual acuity of amblyopic children and adults. However, these dichoptic perceptual learning tasks are intensive and repetitive such that non-compliance is high. In contrast, the invention provides dichoptic perceptual learning in a manner that the user maintains its use and compliance is increased. Further, compliance becomes automatic if the user performs tasks in a normal manner and “forgets” that they are actually under-going treatment as it is integrated with minimal disruption to their life and activities. Accordingly, a methodology exploiting complementary dichoptic stimulation is presented.

Methods and devices to improve the efficacy of mechanical cardiopulmonary resuscitation by changing the position of chest compression

A system and method for mechanical CPR can include a device for providing compressive force to various locations on a patient, and biological monitoring systems to measure the effectiveness of the various locations of compressive force in pumping blood through the patient. The system can also include providing decompressive force to increase the efficacy of blood flow.

User-customized delivery of streamed multi-sensory media to a vibroacoustic therapy bed

A multi-sensory media experience delivery platform includes a vibroacoustic therapy bed that delivers a multi-sensory media experience locally stored, streaming, on-demand, or real-time signals. The vibroacoustic therapy bed drives a plurality of sensory output devices based on a set of sensory output channels to produce sounds, vibrations, light patterns, or other sensory outputs. The channels may be derived from dedicated signals created for a specific sensory output device or may be derived from an audio file or other general set of waveforms. The multi-sensory media experience may be customized to a user based on user profile data, metadata associated with the multi-sensory media experience, or biometric data. Furthermore, users can create customized multi-sensory media experiences from libraries of sounds or other media.

TREATMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING MASSAGE MACHINE
20170348188 · 2017-12-07 ·

A treatment system includes a massage machine that further includes a massage portion configured to perform a massage with respect to a user; a control unit configured to control the massage portion; means for receiving and setting a target value; and a notification portion. The control unit is configured to compare the target value received and a predetermined reference value and to determine whether a predetermined condition is satisfied. When the control unit determines that the predetermined condition is satisfied, the control unit is configured to cause the notification portion to urge the user to change the target value or to cause the setting means to prohibit the target value from being set.

TREATMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING MASSAGE MACHINE

A treatment system includes a massage machine and a measurement portion. The measurement portion obtains body information data of a subject to be treated and outputs and transfers the body information data to the massage machine. The massage machine includes a treatment portion that treats the subject, a control unit that controls the treatment portion, a storage portion that stores data of treatment courses and a treatment course notification portion that displays one of the treatment courses. The measurement portion and the control unit are connected. The control unit is configured to receive the body information data from the measurement portion, and selects a suitable treatment course from the treatment courses based on the body information data. The treatment course notification portion notifies of the suitable treatment course.
