A mobile walker has a frame, at least two wheels which are embodied and arranged on the frame to move the mobile walker around on a ground surface, at least one hand grip embodied and arranged on the frame to be used by a user of the mobile walker as a support and pushing aid, at least one measured value recording unit embodied and programmed to record at least one vital parameter of the user, and a processor unit which is connected communicatively to the measured value recording unit and which is embodied and programmed to assess the recorded vital parameter and/or transmit the same to a control center arranged separately from the mobile walker.

A steam therapy equipment including a vessel for heating a mixture of water and organic materials, a compressor to inject pressurized air into the vessel producing pressurized steam. The pressurized steam is conducted into the equipment via one or more valves. The therapy equipment is formed from at least one panel and may include a supporting frame. The therapy equipment includes a temperature sensor to measure the temperature inside the therapy equipment when pressurized steam is admitted via the valves. A patient enters the equipment and is exposed to the pressurized steam, causing dilation of the skin pores of the patient, whereby toxins are removed from the patient. One or more applicators may conduct pressurized steam to specific portions of the body of the patient. The patient may be provided with a portion of the mixture to consume as part of the steam therapy treatment.

A computer-implemented method for facilitating cardiac rehabilitation among eligible users is disclosed. The method includes the steps of (1) receiving health information associated with one or more users; (2) for each user of the one or more users: determining, based on health information associated with the user, a respective eligibility of the user for cardiac rehabilitation; (3) determining, based on the respective eligibilities, that at least one user of the one or more users is eligible for cardiac rehabilitation; (4) generating a treatment plan for the at least one user, where the treatment plan pertains to a cardiac rehabilitation that is specific to the at least one user; and (5) assigning the treatment plan to at least one electromechanical machine to enable the user to perform the cardiac rehabilitation.

An apparatus for assisting a rescuer in performing chest compressions during CPR on a victim, the apparatus comprising a pad or other structure configured to be applied to the chest near or at the location at which the rescuer applies force to produce the chest compressions, at least one sensor connected to the pad, the sensor being configured to sense movement of the chest or force applied to the chest, processing circuitry for processing the output of the sensor to determine whether the rescuer is substantially releasing the chest following chest compressions, and at least one prompting element connected to the processing circuitry for providing the rescuer with information as to whether the chest is being substantially released following chest compressions.

Systems and methods related to the field of cardiac resuscitation, and in particular to devices for assisting rescuers in performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), are described herein. In one aspect, a method for managing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) treatment to a person in need of emergency assistance includes monitoring a parameter that indicates a fatigue level of a rescuer and providing an indication that a different person should perform the CPR component if the rescuer is exhibiting fatigue.

The imaging unit captures an image of a surrounding environment of a user. The counterpart detector detects a predetermined counterpart in the captured image. The distance measuring unit measures a distance between the counterpart and the imaging unit based on the captured image. The expression determination unit determines a facial expression of the counterpart based on the captured image. The motion determination unit determines a motion of the counterpart based on the captured image. The voice output unit notifies the user of identification information for identifying the counterpart by a voice when the distance measured by the distance measuring unit is an interaction distance of a first threshold or less. The voice output unit then notifies the user of the identification information and at least one of facial expression information related to the facial expression determined by the expression determination unit and motion information related to the motion determined by the motion determination unit by a voice when the distance measured by the distance measuring unit is longer than the first threshold.

Systems and methods for operating a vending machine and/or kiosk. The methods comprise: detecting a presence of a person in a seat of the vending machine; obtaining a full or partial body heat map for the person that was created based on sensor data generated by at least one sensor of the vending machine or at least one sensor located in proximity to the vending machine (the full or partial heat map showing relative temperatures of different parts of a body of the person); selecting at least one vending service parameter for the vending machine using information obtained based on the full or partial body heat map; and causing the vending machine to provide the person with a vending service in accordance with the at least one vending service parameter that was selected.

A multi-sensory media experience delivery platform includes a vibroacoustic therapy bed that delivers a multi-sensory media experience locally stored, streaming, on-demand, or real-time signals. The vibroacoustic therapy bed drives a plurality of sensory output devices based on a set of sensory output channels to produce sounds, vibrations, light patterns, or other sensory outputs. The channels may be derived from dedicated signals created for a specific sensory output device or may be derived from an audio file or other general set of waveforms. The multi-sensory media experience may be customized to a user based on user profile data, metadata associated with the multi-sensory media experience, or biometric data. An information network system includes a massage machine and a communication server. The massage machine contains: a treatment portion configured to treat a subject, a control unit configured to control the treatment portion, an operation unit configured to operate the treatment portion via the control unit, and a new arrival notification portion. The communication server is connected to the control unit via a communication network, the communication server is configured to emit an information related to the massage machine. The control unit is configured to cause the new arrival notification portion to issue a notification upon a receipt of the information.
