A gas chromatograph device includes an inductively heated column configured for gas chromatography. The gas chromatograph includes a column configured for gas chromatography and an inductive heating source. The inductive heating source is configured to directly or indirectly heat the column. The inductive heating source includes an inductive heating element or coil. The inductive heating element or coil is configured to induce a current directly or indirectly in the column. Wherein, the column in the gas chromatograph is inductively heated via the inductive heating source.

METHOD FOR ANALYSING HYDROCARBONS

The invention relates to a method for analysing hydrocarbons, comprising: the implementation of a gas chromatography separation according to a first controlled temperature profile, to separate a sample into a plurality of analytes; the detection of at least one of said analytes by measurement of a variation of the resonance frequency of at least one resonator of nano-electromechanical system (NEMS) type covered with a functional layer made to vibrate at the resonance frequency thereof, under the effect of an adsorption or desorption of the analyte by the functional layer, said method being characterised in that the resonator is subjected to a second controlled temperature profile, lower than the first profile.

Column oven

To diminish complication and difficulty in attachment and detachment of analytical columns to and from a column oven. The column oven includes, in a column housing part that includes a space for housing the plurality of analytical columns, a column rack that holds the plurality of analytical columns, an inlet switching valve, and an outlet connection portion. At least either the inlet switching valve or the outlet connection portion is formed integrally with the column rack and capable of being attached to and detached from the column housing part together with the column rack.

A heating assembly includes a heater extending in a longitudinal direction from a first end to a second end. Heat transfer fins are thermally coupled to the heater and extend in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction. An airflow component is positioned proximate one of the first and second end and is configured to generate airflow along the plurality of heat transfer fins toward the other of the first and second end.

Two-dimensional liquid chromatographic analyzer

A two-dimensional liquid chromatographic analyzer, in which a temperature control part changes a temperature in a single-step manner and switches the temperature at a high speed. Also, the temperature control part has a holder around a separation column so that the temperature of the separation column can be changed to a preset temperature. A first separation column thereof changes elution time(s) of the objective component(s) by temperature modulation and the mobile phase of the first separation column is an aqueous mobile phase having a constant composition.
