Mechanisms for providing environment information to a visually impaired person (VIP) are provided, the mechanisms including: receiving information relating to a direction from a VIP when in an environment using at least one hardware processor; identifying at least one object in the direction from the VIP when in the environment; and providing environment information regarding at least one object to the VIP. In some of these embodiments, the environment is a virtual environment. In some of these embodiments, the information relating to the direction is a bearing relative to a reference from the VIP. In some of these embodiments, the information is image data. In some of these embodiments, the method further comprises: determining that the direction has changed; and stopping providing the environment information in response to determining that the direction has changed.
Inducement, verification and optimization of neural entrainment through biofeedback, data analysis and combinations of adaptable stimulus delivery
Methods, systems and apparatus for inducing and verifying the level of neural entrainment at any target frequency, through a combination of biofeedback mechanisms, data analysis, and modulation of synergistic combinations of adaptable stimuli.
MOTORISED WALKER AND ASSOCIATED CONTROL METHOD
The invention relates to a motorized walker (1) comprising a frame (10) having a front portion (10a) and a rear portion (10b), a pair of wheels (11), with one wheel arranged to support the front portion of the frame, one of the wheels being coupled to a traveling motor (20), said motorized walker (1) being characterized in that: the frame (10) is equipped with two verticalization ramps (100) having a longitudinal axis forming an angle with an axis perpendicular to the ground, between 20° and 40°, each being associated with an electronic handle (200) movable in translation, it comprises at least one verticalization motor (30) arranged to allow movement of the electronic handles (200), and at least one of the electronic handles (200) comprises one or more sensors coupled to a control module (40) configured to control the verticalization motor (30) and the traveling motor (20).
MOTORISED APPARATUS FOR ASSISTING WITH WALKING, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAID ASSISTING APPARATUS WITH AN ELECTRONIC HANDLE
The invention relates to an electronic handle (1) or a walking assistance apparatus equipped with such a handle, said electronic handle being arranged so as to allow the measurement of at least one component of a force applied thereto, said handle (1) comprising a central part (10) and an outer jacket (20), said electronic handle (1) being characterized in that it comprises a first photoelectric cell (30) and a first shutter element (40), arranged so that a force applied to the electronic handle (1) is capable of causing a change in the amount of photons received by a first receiver (32), said change being proportional to a first component of the force applied to the electronic handle (1).
VIEW REDIRECTING SYSTEM
A view redirecting system for use on a mobility device to redirect a user's view to a more favorable orientation is disclosed. One embodiment includes a first structure having a convex first reflective surface, a second structure having a flat second reflective surface and a third structure. The third structure being an adjustable structure and configured for connecting said first and second structures together. The first structure and the second structure are configured to be positioned such that the first reflective surface and the second reflective surface are facing each other at angle up to and including ninety degrees. The third structure configured to maintain the angle. The system is arranged to redirect a user's view from a first line-of-sight to a second line-of-sight by light interacting with the reflective surfaces The system being configured for attachment to a structural member of the mobility device.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing device includes an input/output interface, and at least one processor. The at least one processor executes: detecting feature points in a facial image of an object included in an image taken from the input/output interface; acquiring first distance information between the feature points before a beauty treatment is performed; acquiring second distance information between the feature points at a second timing after the beauty treatment is performed; acquiring a difference value between the first distance information and the second distance information; and determining whether the beauty treatment is correctly given or has been given based on a different value between the acquired distance information.
Walking support system
When it is determined that a presence of a traffic light is not recognized in an image acquired by a first image acquisition operation by a camera, the presence of the traffic light is recognized in an image acquired by a second image acquisition operation in which a recognition accuracy of the presence of the traffic light is improved. In this second image acquisition operation, it is assumed that a pedestrian is stopped in front of a pedestrian crossing, and there is little demand for increasing a detection speed of objects such as moving objects present in a surrounding area. Thus, it is possible to sufficiently obtain the recognition accuracy of the traffic light by the second image acquisition operation that gives priority to the recognition accuracy of the presence of the traffic light.
Automated generation of initial stimulation profile for sexual stimulation devices
A system and method for automated generation of control signals for sexual stimulation devices from usage history and other data. The system and method involve analyzing historical usage and other data for a user for a device or devices, processing the data through machine learning algorithms, and generating new or recombined patterns of stimulation based on the outputs from the machine learning algorithms. The resulting automated control signals represent partially or fully customized stimulation for a given user which evolve over time as the user continues to use the device or devices.
Systems and methods for providing synchronized movements of a powered wheelchair and an exoskeleton
Embodiments herein are directed to a system that includes a powered wheelchair, a user-worn exoskeleton, and a master controller. The master controller monitors the independent movements of the powered wheelchair and the user-worn exoskeleton. The master controller prioritizes the movement of the powered wheelchair and the user-worn exoskeleton such that only one of the powered wheelchair or the user-worn exoskeleton will have the priority to complete the intended movement. The master controller may coordinate movements between the powered wheelchair and the user-worn exoskeleton so to perform a plurality of predetermined programs. For example, assisting a user to sit within the powered wheelchair, to assist a user to stand from a seating position when outside of the powered wheelchair, and/or use the powered wheelchair as a guide for walking.
BIOFEEDBACK-BASED CONTROL OF SEXUAL STIMULATION DEVICES
A system and method for biofeedback-based control of sexual stimulation devices involving receiving biometric data, analyzing the biometric data to detect changes in the physiology of a person, and generating control signals based on the changes. In some embodiments, the analyses of the biometric data are performed by machine learning algorithms which may be trained on associations between biometric data of a user, indications of the user's state of arousal, and the state of operation of a sexual stimulation device. In some embodiments, machine learning algorithms are used to make the associations. In some embodiments, biofeedback-based controls may be incorporated into systems of controls comprising thought-based controls and/or voice-based controls.
