Back traction device
10576007 · 2020-03-03 ·

A back traction apparatus which serves two primary functions. First, the present invention enables a user to stretch their back by lying on the pillow of the present invention which is configured in a unique shape and design. By being able to lie on the pillow, a user does not have to use an inversion table which could be both dangerous and require supervision. In addition, the present invention oscillation enables a user to correct slight misalignment of the user's hips and to more comfortably have the user's hips rotated so that the hips are rotated into an appropriate alignment.

USER-ACTUATED DYNAMIC TENSION TRACTION APPARATUS
20200060919 · 2020-02-27 ·

A user-actuated dynamic tension traction device is disclosed. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a traction device passively applies traction force to a user through the use of one or more rubber or elastic resistance bands coupled to a neck collar worn by the user. The resistance bands are anchored to a stationary surface (in a preferred embodiment a door). Traction is passively applied to the user, rather than actively, as the user moves his or her body away from the surface to which the resistance bands are anchored. As the user moves backward and stretches the resistance bands, tension is incrementally exerted by the resistance bands on the neck collar, and traction is gradually applied to the user's spine.

Motion assistance apparatus

A motion assistance apparatus including a proximal support configured to support a proximal part of a user, a distal support configured to support a distal part of the user, a support assembly configured to connect the proximal support and the distal support and adjust a separation distance between the proximal support and the distal support and a rotation angle of the distal support, and a controller configured to control the support assembly based on a virtual dual spring-mass model designed using the proximal support as a body of mass, the controller including a first virtual spring configured to connect the proximal support and a first portion of the distal support and a second virtual spring configured to connect the proximal support and a second portion of the distal support is disclosed.

Inversion table with an ankle locking system

An inversion table includes a supporting stand having a first interlocking member, and a tilt inversion mechanism. The tilt inversion mechanism includes an inversion unit pivoted on the supporting stand, a feet holding unit, and a locking unit having a second interlocking member disposed on the inversion unit. The tilt inversion mechanism is operable relative to the supporting stand such that the feet holding unit is disengaged from the locking unit in a non-reversible state, and that the feet holding unit is engaged with the locking unit in a reversible state.

Inversion table

An inversion table includes a supporting stand, a tilt inversion mechanism and an operating unit. The tilt inversion mechanism includes an inversion unit including a support table assembly which is pivotally disposed on the supporting stand, and an extension assembly which is coupled with and extends from the support table assembly downwardly. A feet holding unit includes a front feet holding assembly securely and non-pivotably disposed on a lower portion of the inversion unit, and a rear feet holding assembly pivotably and movably connected to the inversion unit. The operating unit includes an operating assembly operably coupled with the front feet holding assembly, and is rotatable about a rotating axis at the front feet holding assembly to actuate the rear feet holding assembly to rotate and move toward the front feet holding assembly. In an inversion state, the users feet is firmly held on the front feet holding assembly.

FOOTWEAR FOR INVERSION EXERCISES

An inversion footwear to enable a human to hang in an inverted position from an elevated bar or other elevated device. The inversion footwear can include either a padding at a front upper portion of the inversion footwear, a hook-like extension at a back of the inversion footwear, or a hook at a bottom of the inversion footwear can be used to grip the elevated bar or other elevated device to secure the human wearing the inversion footwear thereto while hanging in an inverted position.

A seated inversion table has a support frame assembly, two hand rest assemblies, a seat assembly, and a foot-clamping frame assembly. The support frame assembly has fixing portions. Each hand rest assembly is pivotably mounted on the support frame assembly and has a hand rest and a controlling set. The controlling set is securely mounted on the hand rest and selectively fixed on the fixing portions. The seat assembly is pivotably mounted on the support frame assembly. The foot-clamping frame assembly is mounted on the support frame assembly. When the controlling assemblies are fixed on the fixing portions, the seated inversion table cannot be tilted. When the controlling assemblies are not fixed on the fixing portions, the seated inversion table can be tilted. Thus, the user can adjust the angle of the seated inversion table when sitting on the seated inversion table rather than leave the seated inversion table.

Lock assembly for use with an inversion apparatus

A lock assembly for use with an inversion apparatus includes a ratchet plate, a position lock pawl, and a safety lock pawl. The ratchet plate is operatively connected to a first tube portion and is accessible through a slot in a second tube portion of the inversion apparatus' securing assembly. The position lock pawl is pivotally connected to the second tube portion to selectively engage the ratchet plate through the slot. The safety lock pawl is pivotally connected to the second tube portion. The safety lock pawl does not engage the position lock pawl when the user support is in the loading position and is configured and arranged to pivot relative to the second tube portion as the user support moves from the loading position into the inverted position to engage the position lock pawl.

PROGRAMMABLE MULTI-THERAPY INVERSION TABLE
20240180768 · 2024-06-06 ·

An inversion table that incorporates additional therapies, such as massage, traction, and heat. Therapeutic elements of the inversion table may be programmable, so that settings are cycled automatically through preprogrammed patterns. The table may have one or more back massage elements that travel along tracks in the table to massage different portions of the back, and similar neck massage elements that massage different portions of the neck. Traction actuators may apply traction forces to the head and the legs. One or more heating pads may apply heat to any portion of the body. Settings for the therapeutic elements may be controlled by a processor that may execute stored therapy programs, or may respond to user input from a controller or a smartphone.
