VISION TRAINING DEVICE WITH REFRACTIVE INDEX-ADJUSTABLE LENS
It is an object of the present invention to provide a vision training device having an excellent vision training efficiency as vision training is performed in consideration of a status of personal vision. In order to achieve the above object, a vision training device according to the present invention includes a refractive index-adjustable lens disposed in a field of view direction of an eye of a user and having a refractive index which is changed with supply of an electric current, a lens drive unit including one or more electrodes electrically connected to the refractive index-adjustable lens and a voltage adjusting unit capable of adjusting a voltage applied to the one or more electrodes, and a control unit that that controls the voltage adjusting unit such that a refractive index of the refractive index-adjustable lenses is adjusted, sets at least one training range within a refractive index adjustment range of the refractive index-adjustable lenses, and adjusts the refractive index of the refractive index-adjustable lenses in the training range.
Nasal stimulation devices and methods
Described here are devices, systems, and methods for treating one or more conditions (such as dry eye) or improving ocular health by providing stimulation to nasal or sinus tissue. Generally, the devices may be handheld or implantable. In some variations, the handheld devices may have a stimulator body and a stimulator probe having one or more nasal insertion prongs. When the devices and systems are used to treat dry eye, nasal or sinus tissue may be stimulated to increase tear production, reduce the symptoms of dry eye, and/or improve ocular surface health.
Therapeutic eye treatment with gases
An apparatus (100) to maintain an environment over an anterior surface of a patient eye can include an enclosure (110) sized and shaped to be seated about the patient eye to form a cavity (112) within the enclosure. The enclosure can be configured to contain a fluid other than ambient air in contact with the patient eye. The apparatus can include a fluid regulator (1209) in communication with the enclosure, where the fluid regulator can be configured to regulate the composition of the fluid contained within the enclosure.
VISION TRAINING DEVICE FOR FUSIONAL VERGENCE AND SPATIAL VISION TRAINING
It is an object of the present invention to provide a vision training device capable of performing color correction for a display and providing elaborate vision training. In order to achieve the above objects, a vision training device according to the present invention includes a color filter having an optical property disposed in a field of view direction of an eye of a user, a display, a user operating unit that adjusts image information of the display, and a control unit that causes a reference color image within a range similar to a color of the color filter to be displayed on the display and stores a correction confirmation signal for the display as a correction value when the correction confirmation signal is input through the user operating unit.
THERAPEUTIC TRAINING DEVICE FOR AUTISM
A therapeutic training device configured to be worn on the face of a therapist and capable of displaying media content to a patient with ASD, wherein a level of the displayed media content may be adjusted to permit the patient to see the eyes of the therapist through the media content.
Vision protection method and systems thereof
A vision protection method is provided to ensure a viewer to rest his/her eyes after viewing on an electronic device for a certain period, wherein the eyesight protection method includes the steps of detecting at least one of eye activities of the viewer and working parameter of the electronic device in a working mode of the electronic device during the viewer is working on a current work displaying by the electronic device; switching the working mode of the electronic device to a resting mode when an abnormal eye activity of the viewer is detected; and switching the electronic device from the resting mode back to the working mode to resume the display of the current work of the electronic device. Therefore, the viewer is enforced to rest his/her eyes after every certain period.
EYE MOVEMENT DEVICE
The present invention relates to an apparatus for exercising an eyeball, in which a geared motor (20) is mounted on an upper end of a column (11) of a stand (10), an output shaft (21) of the geared motor (20) is inserted into a hole (31) formed at one end of a rotating arm (30), a connecting shaft (35) is mounted on a free end of the rotating arm (30) in parallel with the output shaft (21), the connecting shaft (35) is inserted into an upper horizontal shaft hole 41 of a balance weight (40) through a bearing (50), a magnet (60) is mounted on a front of the balance weight (40), and an iron plate (76) attached to a case 75 of a smartphone (70) is attached to the magnet (60).
Method and apparatus for visual training
An apparatus for use in visual training of a subject, the apparatus including an at least partially opaque elongate occluder for at least partially occluding a substantially laterally oriented area of a field of view of a first eye so as to define an occluded area and a non-occluded area, and, wherein in use the occluded area moves relative to the field of view, and the subject views: at least one target that extends into the occluded area using both eyes so that the subject perceives an image of the target, the image in the non-occluded area being at least partially based on signals from the first eye and the image in the occluded area being at least partially based on signals from a second eye; and, ensures the target is at least partially aligned in the occluded and non-occluded areas.
Visual neuromodulation system and methods for treatments of visually triggered migraine headaches and seizures
A visual neuromodulation system includes a processor and a transition function determination module configured to determine a spatial frequency transition function corresponding to a spatial frequency based on user input. The user input includes: (i) a quantity of illusions perceived in response to viewing a spatial frequency pattern associated with the spatial frequency and (ii) a level of discomfort sensed in response to viewing the spatial frequency pattern associated with the spatial frequency. The system also includes a threshold determination module configured to determine a threshold spatial frequency based on the spatial frequency transition function. The system includes, in response to the threshold determination module determining the threshold spatial frequency, a control module that selects a display spatial frequency pattern from a set of spatial frequency patterns. The selected spatial frequency pattern corresponds to a display spatial frequency greater than the threshold spatial frequency to display for a predetermined period.
Dry eye treatment apparatus and methods
Dry eye treatment apparatus and methods are described herein which generally comprise a patch or strip affixed to the skin of the upper and/or lower eyelids to deliver heat or other forms of energy, pressure, drugs, moisture, etc. (alone or in combination) to the one or more meibomian glands contained within the underlying skin. The treatment strip or strips include one or more strips configured to adhere to an underlying region of skin in proximity to one or both eyes of a subject such that the one or more strips allow for the subject to blink naturally without restriction from the one or more patches. Moreover, the one or more strips may be configured to emit energy to the underlying region of skin and where the one or more strips are shaped to follow a location of one or more meibomiam glands contained within the underlying region of skin.
