Apparatuses are described that provide for a mobile eye washing station. An example station includes a fluid storage cartridge that stores unused eye wash fluid and a nozzle assembly in fluid communication with the fluid storage cartridge. In operation, the nozzle assembly dispenses the unused eye wash fluid stored in the fluid storage cartridge via one or more nozzles of the nozzle assembly. The example station further includes a waste fluid collection basin that, in operation, collects eye wash fluid dispersed by the nozzle assembly. Due to contact with the fluid storage cartridge, the waste fluid collection basin compresses the fluid storage cartridge to drive fluid communication between the fluid storage cartridge and the nozzle assembly. The fluid storage cartridge is disposed vertically beneath the waste fluid collection basin.

The enclosure can be configured to contain a fluid other than ambient air in contact with the patient eye. The apparatus can include a fluid regulator (1209) in communication with the enclosure, where the fluid regulator can be configured to regulate the composition of the fluid contained within the enclosure.

In some embodiments, an eye treatment device is disclosed, which includes a scleral shield positionable proximate an inner surface of an eyelid, the scleral shield being made of, or coated with, an energy-absorbing material activated by a light energy, and an energy transducer positionable outside of the eyelid, the energy transducer configured to provide light energy at one or more wavelengths, including a first wavelength selected to heat the energy-absorbing material.

The V-VIS devices and methods generate a moving aperture effect anterior to a retina that samples and delivers to the retina environmental light from an ocular field of view at a sampling rate between 50 hertz and 50 kilohertz. Certain of these V-VIS devices and methods may be combined with augmented or virtual reality, vision measurement, vision monitoring, or other therapies including, but not limited to, pharmacological, gene, retinal replacement and stem cell therapies.
