Parallel cell processing method and facility
The present invention provides improved methods, facilities and systems for parallel processing of biological cellular samples in an efficient and scalable manner. The invention enables parallel processing of biological cellular samples, such as patient samples, in a space and time efficient fashion. The methods, facilities and systems of the invention find particular utility in processing patient samples for use in cell therapy.
NETWORKED AIR QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM
A networked air quality monitoring system. Such a system could provide information beyond the user's local instrument on air quality over a much larger area. This information could be used by a user to make decisions about frequenting particular areas based on the results, or to alert them to changing conditions in the area so that the user might act before local conditions change.
Test element analysis system for the analytical examination of a sample
A test element analysis system for the analytical examination of a sample comprising: at least one evaluation device with at least one test element holder and at least one measuring device for measuring a change in a measuring zone of a test element; at least one barcode reader comprising at least one circuit board having a front side facing the barcode of the test element positioned in the test element holder and a reverse side facing away from the test element, wherein at least one electronic control element of the barcode reader is disposed on the circuit board and wherein the circuit board comprises at least one cavity penetrating the circuit board; at least one camera carrier element; and at least one camera electrically connected to the camera carrier element, with the camera carrier element and the camera being positioned such that the camera observes the barcode through the cavity.
LIQUID DISPENSING APPARATUS AND LIQUID DISCHARGING DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a liquid discharging device includes a storage unit storing a use history indicating whether the liquid discharging device has been previously used, and a discharging device mounted on a liquid dispensing apparatus and configured to discharge a liquid when supplied a discharge voltage in response to a discharge signal received from the liquid dispensing apparatus.
Liquid discharging device storing a use history
According to one embodiment, a liquid discharging device includes a storage unit storing a use history indicating whether the liquid discharging device has been previously used, and a discharging device mounted on a liquid dispensing apparatus and configured to discharge a liquid when supplied a discharge voltage in response to a discharge signal received from the liquid dispensing apparatus.
REAGENT CARTRIDGE
Provided is a reagent cartridge configured to be set in a genetic testing device and the reagent cartridge includes a plurality of reagent containers in which a reagent is filled, and a holder formed with a plurality of opening parts in which the reagent containers are loaded and configured to hold the reagent containers loaded in the opening parts, in which the holder holds the reagent containers with an allowance in a vertical direction in a state in which the reagent cartridge is set in the genetic testing device.
SWAPABLE REAGENT MODULES
A reagent dispensing system, in an example, may include a processing device, a data storage device coupled to the processing device, a plurality of swappable reagent modules, each swappable reagent module comprising a plurality of reagent dispensing cartridges, and a module frame coupling the reagent cartridges to one another.
AUTOMATIC ANALYZER
The automatic analyzer includes a light source 4a to perform measurement, a spectrophotometer 4, a reagent disk 9 to store a reagent bottle 10 in which the reagent is stored, a carriage device to carry the reagent bottle 10 to the reagent disk 9, a reagent preparation unit to perform preparatory operations required before the regent bottle 10 is used, and a control unit 21 to schedule the preparatory operations by the reagent preparation unit and the carriage operation by the carriage device such that the reagent bottle 10 is carried to the reagent disk 9 immediately after an operation accompanied with analysis by the light source 4a and the spectrophotometer 4 is suspended or ends.
ANALYSIS SYSTEM, CONTROLLER, AND DATA PROCESSING DEVICE
An analysis system, controller, and data processing device that are capable of avoiding the influence on control in the case where the names of the constituent elements are changed. The analysis system includes a plurality of constituent elements used for analysis; a controller configured to perform control on a basis of data received from the constituent elements; and a data processing device configured to process data received from the controller. The controller receives the control code, the additional code, and the name information from the plurality of constituent elements to generate an ID code on the basis of the control code and the additional code. The data processing device receives the ID code and the name information from the controller, and performs control on the basis of the control code included in the ID code.
Redundant Identification for Sample Tracking on a Diagnostic Device
A sample-containing device configured to be placed into a sample processing instrument for performing a process on a sample contained in the device includes redundant identification features, such as machine-readable tags. A first machine-readable information tag is read before the device is placed in the instrument, and a second machine-readable information tag is read after the device is in the instrument. Information read from the two tags is compared to determine if there is proper correspondence between the information read from the tags to ensure that the correct sample processing device was placed in the instrument.
