Sample measuring device
In this sample measuring device a lifting mechanism conveys a sample container from a rack to a sample measuring chamber. An inside light-shielding structure is extended over the upper surface of a base frame and the lower surface of a head, and surrounds a shaft. The inside light-shielding structure is configured from a first ring groove and a first ring protrusion. When the head is in a ground state, the upper surface of the base frame and the lower surface of the head are contacted by the action of a spring. At this time, the first ring groove and the first ring protrusion are integrated. An outside light-shielding structure is provided to the periphery of the inside light-shielding structure. A top plate contains a laminate structure which includes a lightshielding sheet and a lightreflecting plate.

A sample analysis system includes one or more sets. Each of the one or more sets include includes a measurement block including measurement units configured to test a sample contained in a sample container, and a transport unit disposed corresponding to the measurement block. The transport unit includes a first transport path along which a sample rack is transported from an upstream side to a downstream side and a second transport path along which the sample rack received from the first transport path is transported to the measurement units in the measurement block. The second transport path is configured to move the sample rack back and forth between the measurement units to distribute the sample containers held on the sample rack to the measurement units.

An analyzer system for in vitro diagnostics includes a sample handler module having a robot arm that delivers samples from drawers into carriers on a linear synchronous motor automation track. Samples are delivered via the automation track to individual track sections associated with individual analyzer modules. Analyzer modules aspirate sample portions directly from the sample carriers and perform analysis thereon.

A sample rack transport apparatus for transporting a sample rack to a sample analyser, comprising: a bidirectional transmission track for bidirectionally transmitting a sample rack without passing through the sample analyser; a feed channel in parallel with the bidirectional transmission track, wherein the sample rack may be delivered from the bidirectional transmission track to the feed channel and to the sample analyser; an unloading cache region located between the bidirectional transmission track and the feed channel, the unloading cache region being used for storing the sample tack; and an unloading mechanism for delivering the sample rack in the feed channel to the unloading cache region for storage, or delivering the sample rack stored in the unloading cache region to the bidirectional transmission track. Also provided are a sample analysis device and a sample analysis system using the sample rack transport apparatus.

A sample processing apparatus comprises a transporting section configured to transport a sample rack that is capable of holding a sample container at a plurality of holding positions, a detecting section that is configured to detect presence or absence of a rack distinction member at a holding position of the sample rack, an aspirating section that is configured to aspirate a sample in the sample container, and a control section that is configured to control an aspirating operation of the aspirating section. The control section changes an aspirating operation with respect to the sample container held in the sample rack based on the presence/absence of the rack distinction member at the holding position of the sample rack.

Disclosed is a sample analyzer including: a transport apparatus configured to transport a sample rack holding a sample container; and a measurement apparatus body configured to measure a sample in the sample container held in the sample rack transported by the transport apparatus, wherein the transport apparatus includes a light source holding unit configured to detachably hold a light source unit, and the measurement apparatus body includes a detection unit configured to detect, via an analysis specimen containing the sample, light emitted from the light source unit held in the light source holding unit.

A sample rack moving mechanism is provided for removing a sample rack loaded with one or more sample containers from a temporary storing section, and returning the sample rack loaded with the sample containers holding the tested sample to the temporary storing section. The sample rack moving mechanism may include a drive element, a cam driven by the drive element to rotate and having a curve contour, a cam follower moving following the outer contour of the cam, a guide groove corresponding to the temporary storing section, having a bottom plane of the same height as a support plane of the temporary storing section for supporting the sample rack, and capable of moving the sample rack, and a support element driven by the cam follower to move upward and downward and driving the sample rack to horizontally move between the temporary storing section and the guide groove.

A specimen treating and measuring system according to the present invention comprises: a treatment part having a plurality of lanes for carrying out parallel processing of a plurality of specimens, and mounting cartridges in each of the plurality of lanes; a cartridge storing unit storing a plurality of types of cartridge to be used for different processes corresponding to the plurality of specimens; a sample storing unit storing and conveying sample tubes containing the plurality of specimens; a pickup unit transferring each of the plurality of types of cartridge to each lane, and transferring each of the plurality of specimens from the sample tubes to each of the plurality of lanes; and a control unit controlling the transfer of the plurality of types of cartridge and the transfer of the plurality of specimens, performed by the pickup unit.

A sample analyzer, comprising a sample storage region, a sample-drawing channel, and a transport mechanism; the sample storage region being provided with a plurality of storage channels; the sample-drawing channel is provided with a sample-drawing position; the transport mechanism comprises an engagement slot, an actuation mechanism and a first moving mechanism; the engagement slot and the actuation mechanism are fixed on the first moving mechanism, the actuation mechanism comprises an actuator and a second moving mechanism, the actuator is drivable by at least one of the first moving mechanism and the second moving mechanism to realize the movement of the sample holder between the storage channels and the engagement slot; during sample drawing, the first moving mechanism drives the engagement slot to move to the sample-drawing channel, the actuation mechanism enables samples to pass through the sample-drawing position and to make a stop for sample drawing.
