Transport and transfer container for a liquid medium
10486838 · 2019-11-26 · ·

A production method for producing a transport and transfer receptacle for at least one fluid medium, for example, for at least one sterile liquid is proposed. The method comprises supplying at least one container for receiving the fluid medium. At least one energy unit is supplied. The energy unit effectsfor example, completeemptying of the fluid medium from the container when the transport and transfer receptacle is used. The fluid medium is introduced into the container and the container is closed. The fluid medium is charged with positive pressure, for example, using the energy unit. The positive pressure is maintained until the fluid medium is removed. Furthermore, a transport and transfer receptacle which can be produced according to the production method and which has at least one packaging is proposed.

SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR CONCURRENTLY SUPPORTING A PLURALITY OF CONTAINERS FOR SUBSTANCES FOR PHARMACEUTICAL, MEDICAL OR COSMETIC APPLICATIONS, AND TRANSPORT STRUCTURE COMPRISING THE SAME
20190343721 · 2019-11-14 · ·

A supporting structure for concurrently supporting a plurality of containers for substances for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic applications, comprises a plurality of receptacles. The receptacles are arranged in a regular arrangement, are formed by circumferential side-walls, and an upper side of the supporting structure is formed as a plate-shaped carrier. The receptacles are polygonal in shape when viewed in a plan view. A side-wall is formed as a common partition wall between respective two directly adjacent receptacles of the plurality of receptacles. The receptacles can be directly adjacent to each other, which enables optimum packing density, especially with a hexagonal basic shape of the receptacles. Due to the shared partition wall, filigree, double-walled structures can be effectively avoided, which considerably simplifies production by injection molding from a plastic material. Thereby, also a very high inherent stiffness of the supporting structure can be achieved.

Buffering Agent Cartridge
20190343726 · 2019-11-14 ·

A cartridge for dispensing a pre-measured buffering agent together with a medical fluid such as dental anesthetic. The cartridge includes a sharp piercing element at one end, a frangible barrier proximate the piercing element, and a traveling closure. The buffering solution is in a chamber between the barrier and the closure. When loaded into a syringe and subjected to operating pressures, the barrier is pierced, enabling the buffering solution to mix with the medical fluid. Continued pressure propels a desired, controlled mixture into a tissue of a patient. A dye may be included for visual confirmation of mixing. The invention may be regarded as the cartridge, a syringe having the cartridge, or a kit, with or without a syringe, of cartridges having closures of different

A cartridge is configured to receive an injectable drug. The cartridge includes a body, and the body includes a proximal end portion having a proximal opening, a distal end portion having a distal opening, and a bore coupling the proximal opening and the distal opening. The cartridge further includes a pierceable septum coupled to the distal opening and a plunger movably carried within the bore. A volume is disposed in the bore between the pierceable septum and the plunger. The volume has a reduced pressure, and the reduced pressure is less than atmospheric pressure. A stopper is detachably coupled to the distal opening.

Intermediate product for producing pre-filled dual-chamber syringes or cartridges and method of producing said intermediate product

An intermediate product (1) for producing a plurality of pre-filled dual-chamber syringes or cartridges includes a support template (2) having an array of support seats and partially pre-filled tubular containment bodies (3), each inserted in a respective support seat. Each of the tubular containment bodies (3) 10 extends between a first (4) and a second opening (5). A sterile package (20-23) encloses the support template (2) and the tubular containment bodies (3) in sterile manner. The interiors of the tubular containment bodies (3) include a first stopper (6) and a second stopper (7) arranged in such a manner as to define therebetween a first containment chamber (8) in the tubular containment body (3) and adapted to slide inside the tubular containment 20 body. A liquid substance is contained inside the first containment chamber (8).

TWO-CHAMBER CARPULE
20190262233 · 2019-08-29 ·

The disclosure provides a two-chamber carpule comprising two-chambers adapted to be joined together. Each chamber is adapted to contain a medicament component. The carpule further comprises a bevel arranged on a circumference of at least one of the chambers in a transition area. The bevel extends from one chamber to the other chamber.

MEDICATION APPARATUS

A medication container can include a frame, a drawer including slots, at least one of a first set of one or more sensors and a second set of one or more sensors, and an electronic transmitter. The slots in the drawer can receive cartridges containing medication. The first set of sensor(s) can detect whether the drawer has moved more than a preset distance into or out of the frame. The second set of sensor(s) can detect whether a cartridge has been removed from a corresponding slot and/or the contents of the cartridge. The electronic transmitter can transmit data characterizing at least one of whether the drawer has moved more than the preset distance into or out of the frame and whether the cartridge has been removed from the corresponding slot to a server computer via a communication network. Other medication containers and systems for generating alerts are described.

Medication injector with capacitive fill level measurement capacity, and contact sensor

A medication injector for dispensing liquid medications to people includes a container which is filled with the liquid and which has an opening at one end for dispensing the liquid and at least one pair of capacitive measuring electrodes disposed opposite each other in the outer region of the container, in particular on the wall, for determining the permittivity of the respective medium in the intermediate region between the measuring electrodes. The measuring electrodes are used by the injector to determine the fill level of the container. A shielding surrounds the measuring electrodes in the manner of a sheath, is disposed around the container, and reduces possible external interfering influences on the capacitive measurement, such as those resulting from contact, for example. Additionally, a contact sensor is provided which can indicate the measurement as invalid.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NEUTRALIZING LOCAL ANESTHETIC
20190184103 · 2019-06-20 ·

The present disclosure relates to devices and methods for neutralizing an acidic anesthesia solution. An anesthesia neutralization device includes an outer housing and an inner housing. The inner housing holds a buffer carpule and an anesthetic carpule in a side by side arrangement, with the buffer solution maintained under pressure prior to deployment. A curved transfer needle is coupled to the outer housing and includes ends that both point respectively toward the buffer carpule and anesthetic carpule. The device is actuated by moving the inner housing relative to the outer housing to bring the anesthesia carpule and buffer carpule into contact with the transfer needle and to force buffer solution through the transfer needle and into the anesthesia carpule.
