The invention relates to a liquid applicator, for administering liquids, including vaccines, to animals. In particular, the applicator is useful for delivering liquids to mouths of animals.

Collapsible centrifugation vial system and method
11745182 · 2023-09-05 · ·

A vial and system are configured to simplify fluid input and extraction therefrom. The vial has a first end opposite a second end and with a collapsible sidewall. The sidewall can be collapsed, such as by imparting a differential pressure between an interior and exterior of the vial, for simplified fluid extraction and smooth extraction without disturbing boundaries between separated components. The vial typically has a bulb at a first end and a neck extending away from the bulb and toward the second end. An inlet spaced from the first end can be configured to attach to various different interfaces or processing elements for input and output of fluids. A support cup can be provided for use with the vial during centrifugation to allow the vial to withstand any centrifugation forces. Various fluid processing methodologies are supported by the collapsible vial, especially including methods of separation of components of blood.

Bandage composition dispenser

Provided is a bandage composition dispenser and/or applicator that includes a nozzle and a cap. In some embodiments, the dispenser and/or applicator is used to dispense a bandage or dressing composition that forms a durable film bandage or skin protectant.

Container, particularly for medical products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food or the like

The container (1), particularly for medical products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food or the like, comprises: an hollow body (2) at least partly compressible defining a chamber (3) for containing a fluid product (4) and provided with a neck (5); a closure element (6) made in a single body piece with the hollow body (2) and provided with an attachment portion (7) which, in a packaging configuration, is associated with the hollow body (2) along a predefined breaking line (8) adapted to allow the separation of the closure element (6) from the hollow body (2) in a configuration of separation in which on the hollow body (2) is formed a dispensing opening (9) of the fluid product (4); a dispensing valve (13) adapted to allow the outflow of the fluid product (4) through the dispensing opening (9); and a return valve (14) adapted to allow the one-way flow of air (15) towards the chamber (3), wherein the return valve (14) comprises filtering means (16) adapted to filter the air (15) entering the chamber (3).

PRE-FILLED MULTI-FLUID MEDICAL DELIVERY ASSEMBLIES
20230364342 · 2023-11-16 ·

A pre-filled medical delivery assembly can have first and second blow-fill-seal (BFS) modules and first and second connectors. Each BFS module can have a reservoir with a fluid agent and a neck with a seal. Each connector can have a respective recess with a piercing element. The first connector can have an outlet port, and the second connector can have an inlet/outlet (I/O) port. The connectors can be coupled together via the outlet and I/O ports. The neck of each BFS module can be inserted into the recess of the respective connector such that the piercing element breaches the seal, thereby providing a fluid path between the reservoirs. The disclosed assemblies can allow the combination of separate fluid agents via the coupled connectors and subsequently delivery of the combination as a single dose of a therapeutic agent to a patient by replacing the first connector with an administration hub.

Dispenser actuator assembly

A dispenser actuator assembly (100) for actuating a dispenser (10) has a base member (102) operably connected to an actuator assembly (104). The dispenser (10) is in the form of a glass ampoule assembly (10) having a rupturable glass ampoule (12) containing a flowable material (M). The glass ampoule (12) is contained within an outer container (14). The glass ampoule assembly (10) has an applicator (16) positioned in the outer container (14). The dispenser actuator assembly (100) has the base member (102) that is configured to mount on the outer container (14). The actuator assembly (104) has a first actuator arm (132a) and a second actuator arm (132b) each pivotally connected to the base member (102). The first actuator arm (132a) has a first protrusion (150a) depending therefrom and the second actuator arm (132b) has a second protrusion (150b) depending therefrom. The first actuator arm (132a) and the second actuator arm (132b) are pivotable such that the first protrusion (150a) and the second protrusion (150b) engage the outer container (14) to rupture the glass ampoule (12).
